Stonefolk- I found them in 2005 and was hooked.
It truly is a strange occurrence. I have many friends who are in the know and just don't like them or haven't heard.

Hold up, I totally thought she was unaware of the song name and thought he was just asking her if he had to talk her into the song or give a lil intro, ya know? It's so interesting because the name for the song was perfect for that specific moment.

For the record, this may well be Spoon's greatest opus.. the cohesion and tone make this a timeless piece of anyone's listening repertoire. Still fantastic 6 years after seeing this live. ♥

alex and I were in first grade together whens Spoons first album came out.
always been super talented, so weird to see him play with them though.
Spoons are made for eating soup, cereal along with food of that sort not making awesome music but here they are in the flesh doing just that. Incredible.
I just discovered this band a few year ago, Since then I am listening their amazing songs every day! this performance is exceptional!
This is the only version of Can I Sit Next To You I want to listen to. Those "Bollywood Strings" are off the scales insanely good. Great cinematography and love the look.
It makes me a little sad that a band as great as Spoon isn't generating 10M views on a video.
I've seen them a bunch of times, and I met them at an autograph signing. Just fantastic in every way.
Why does that make you sad? Do you enjoy music more when everybody listen to it? I like this music and I don't care if 10 other people or 10 million other people listen to it.

I discovered this band when listening to Modest Mouse radio on Pandora. The first time I heard the sound I had to step out of the shower just to see who the band was!
My favorite pandora station has been Spoon radio for years now.
K Bishop they were in Lollapalooza in Argentina a couple of weeks ago. I was walking around and heard 'can i sit netxt to you' and the sound stucks in my head.. now im discovering the band lucky me ⚡👌😊

They played at Fargo Brewery here in Fargo,ND outdoors. My apartment balcony faced the stage so I got to enjoy the show for free.

Spoon is like my generations tom petty and the heartbreakers. Just so good and consistent. So many amazing tracks. def the best of past few decades like you said. No other US band has been so good for so long. And they’ve been around for 30 years lol crazy

Wow "Do I have to talk you into it" has a really weird "The beast and dragon, adored" vibe to it. At first it sounded so weirdly similiar but now I'm growing more fond of it.

These live versions sound a lot better than the ones on Hot Thoughts, to be honest. Much rawer and more energy put out by the band, doing the stuff that Spoon does best.
