Kids will only mess up the car's seats if you let them. When I was growing up my parents didn't let me bring any drinks or food in the car and guess what they seats never got dirty.
AARON IBARRA I agree with you however I do drink in the car (water, coke, Starbucks, etc.). I do not eat in my car because of the crumbs and also if you are eating something like McDonalds the steering wheel will get all greasy and nasty and the smell stays inside your car.
John, may I say the difference between your videos from the past couple of years and this year is a massive jump in quality. You really put out all the stops to make awesome videos. Hats off to you and your crew!
I say it a lot but I can't stop saying this, TechnoBuffalo makes amazing content on UA-cam. Jon and your team are a fine group of professionals and your camera work and quality is just fantastic!
Would wrapping the car or if it was extremely dirty affect the sensors on the car? or will the sensors scan right through it all? I know most people wouldn't have a muddy tesla but it IS a car and cars should be able to perform even when dirty. So just curious.
I know of a few owners that have wraps on their car and the ultrasonic sensors still work properly. The only issue you might have is if over time the wrap starts to lose adhesion over the sensor, in which case the sensor signals would bounce off the wrap and think there is an object.
Thomas Alias wrapping the car doesn't affect the sensors whatsoever. The only reason the sensors wouldn't work is if they are completely covered with mud or something. the sensors and cameras are wasted to melt snow. it works in rain, fog, when it is snowing. anything.
MattTechStudio Yes there is a reserve of (from what Ive experienced) 2-5 miles of range which isnt much tbh but will work if close to a supercharger. Theres apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to help you find a place to find chargers around you but on road trips you can use the Tesla Touchscreen and find Superchargers that you can charge at along your journey.
from all the research i have done, the miles that show on your projected range is derived from the EPA estimated range and the amount of energy in the pack, not adaptive to the way you drive. Can you confirm that you have seen it change?
Abinash Pal Answering it the other was around is easier. Big wheels may look more appealing (they do to me). The small wheels (20 inch isn't minuscule either) have a thicker Tire around them, which increases driving comfort. They are also better for acceleration and fuel economy as they require less energy to turn.
I believe it's a bug that is present in the current build of Autopilot. Elon Musk has acknowledged it and said it will be fixed in the upcoming updates.
I would hate to be in a accident in that. Insurance must be crazy, replacement parts expensive as shit and I'm sure there's a lot of body shops that won't touch it.
Insurance isn't that bad, infact usually you'd get a clean air vehicle discount. And when it goes Level 5 autonomous that will probably save you money too. Replacement parts and repair are Tesla only obviously. You just take it to Tesla. You don't want places that have no clue about how EVs work to be touching it.
Dj Rolln the insurance can be high, especially if you have a P (performance) model. I know someone who got a P100D model X and their insurance company wanted $3,000 a year as they classified it as a sports car, luckily they were able to find a different insurance who would offer the same coverage for almost half. As for the cost of parts, Tesla charges what appears to be close to cost, for example a key fob is approximately $60. I have heard though that it can take a long time to get parts for a non-warranty repair.
I prefer a high bill and save my life and keep me safe. A friend my who drives very fast without a belt, according to him in case he has an accident he prefers to die. I do not know, Options
Dj Rolln Maintenance on EV's is a lot cheaper than on ICEV's due to a simpler drivetrain and regenerative braking, so I guess that compensates for the insurance costs
Haven't you seen the test video of autopilot 2 where the car drives the guy from his house to a Tesla store? That's level 5 autonomy, and apparently if it actually works like the video showed itll be out in full force by next year depending on lawmakers
Great video! love those moving shots! I'm interested into why you got the duel motors. I would consider getting them as I live in a place with lots of snow, but what advantages does it offer besides traction?
What is the ground clearance like? Have you ever had any trouble of it being too low or hitting any speed bumps etc with 5 or more people on board? And How well does the adjustable suspension work?
I got a Tesla X with the creek sound issue. Took to the service center and they just had to do a small adjustment to the door to fix the issue. Its just 2 plastic pieces rubbing against each other.
I am a new owner model X, today is my 3rd day driving my new Tesla😍 I love it💜 I got the white on white as well..Thank you so much for you video.. Happy New Year🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉
Hands down the best customer testimonial vid I've seen - nice work dude and yes the drone shots are amazing. I am much more likely to feel comfortable picking the white seats now. Maybe hit us back with a quick update vid at 8-10 months to see if it still holding up the same
All these electric actuators and small motors all over the car... How is that gonna hold up after let's say 5 years? Do older Teslas have a lot of electrical issues, or r they doing ok?
mart9898 early model S cars had their exterior retracting door handles stop working, but it appeared to be due a defective design and they were replaced under warranty with a newer design door handle. And I know a person with a model x who needs to have the local service center look at the front passenger front power window and the charger door that isn't fully closing on its own and needs a person to finish the job.
Got my X just before Christmas with the new 5 passenger configuration. The 5 pass car that I saw at my dealership was missing the handles on either side of the seat that allow back angle adjustment and dropping the back flat. I picked my car up from another dealership about 230 miles from my house. They put off delivery for a week due to missing parts for the bench seat. When I picked it up a week later it was still missing parts for bench seat: the cover for the rear "basement" storage (no big deal) and the skirt that covers the hardware and wiring below the back of the bench seat. It's been over a month now and no word on the parts arriving at my dealer. The promised holiday "Easter Egg" either didn't function or wasn't downloaded. The adaptive cruise control, rain sensing wipers, auto-dimming high beams and auto pilot (all paid for) haven't been activated yet. Oh, and my driver's side falcon wing door groans as it reaches its apex. Oh oh, and brakes squeal very loudly when backing out of the garage at about 1/2 mph. I'm waiting for the parts to come in so I can have the other issues addressed. For long trips, I take my wife's model S as it is much more relaxing to drive in heavy traffic with its adaptive cruise control and auto-pilot.
How do you charge it at home. Did you have to adapt anything in your garage? How much do they cost? How do you find charging stations? your car looks cool with the blue and white combo.
can i install tasker on tesla? when i look left window for more than 20 seconds window will open, when i am in rush and jump into my car in a rush it will understand that i am in rush and turn car in speed mode.
I enjoyed the video. One question several friends of mine have wondered is what is the real mileage range when the air conditioner or heater are on? Thank you.
My AP2/HW2 car also has jumpy lane lines in the instrument cluster like yours. Our AP1 car is rock solid and the lane lines are far steadier. I thought maybe it was calibrating and causing the jumpiness but it's persistent. Hopefully a new update comes soon.
Grace Mckay-Michael it uses a mono-stable switch gear that is on the steering wheel column and you push up for reverse, down for drive, partial up for neutral, and you push a button at the end of the stalk for park.
Zlatan Z He can't yet, as AP2.0 is still limited. I have AP 1.0 and I use it all the time for extended highway trips. It is great, and awesome for stop and go traffic.
You're cameramen/production team is phenomenal.
ItsGary, that helped.
I think you had used drones. Which one? :)
Which camera(s) did you use to produce this piece?
Thank you man, I agree! Andrew rocked it!
Ferenc Kovacs
Probably a DJI drone
I dont think even Tesla could've made such a crisp video of their car! :D
Top 5 most car commercials are made on the computer so it's not an actual camera filming it.
Glî†çh Ïñ Thê Måtrèx Care to take a bit of sarcasm?
Top 5 just wanted to give you some information and don't worry, I can tell when people are being sarcastic ;)
Glî†çh Ïñ Thê Måtrèx Well.. thanks! :D
We wanted to have some fun with this one.

AARON IBARRA I only drink 40oz 🍻 and self drive my way home 😴
Only time my siblings and I were allowed to have food was on longer road trips. And if we made a mess, we cleaned it up.
So whens the Tesla giveaway?
Some of those car shots were so awesome that it made me think that this was a car commercial.. .lol
Rishabh Patel I'm convinced this is paid up
yeah
Very cool drone shots. (I assume drones were used)
+Michael Carney drones cranes and more!
They also hired 'superman' for extra shots
Z Jay Some say Jon still have him as his personal butler
"Listen to this creak carefully". *plays background music*
😂
You can still hear it tho which means it's pretty bad.
My god! this video is amazing man... well done
Curious about the splits, do those wipe out easily from the white material?
When the phone app is updated, could you do a video on that please
Loving the drone shots btw!
Dieter Rust tesla has vowed to never update the phone app 😂😂😂
Absolutely.
Some lovely shots in this! All awesome info. I'm jealous! :D
Hey, your car is awesome too!
Thanks Quinn!
In 3 months Autopilot 2.0 will start to overtake Autopilot 1.0
In six months, it will be noticeable in 2.0 cars.
When did you guys roll out that logo change? Diggin' it!
For the creak of the doors , i can offer you a simple spray - WD40 . And everything will be perfect .
John, may I say the difference between your videos from the past couple of years and this year is a massive jump in quality. You really put out all the stops to make awesome videos. Hats off to you and your crew!
lol vegan leather "sounds like it's made of vegans" hahaha
I say it a lot but I can't stop saying this, TechnoBuffalo makes amazing content on UA-cam. Jon and your team are a fine group of professionals and your camera work and quality is just fantastic!
+Campwise05 appreciate it Josh. 👊
Thank you so much for making it available to watch in 4K
Great use of the drone... professionally done... cinematic
Those Falcon doors are a super for parents.. Umbrella when it rains, super easy access... there are no other SUV with such a easy use.
+Paul B. Thanks for that. We wanted to step it up.
jon is the coolest and most dynamic tech person I've been watching for 4 years.
I there is someone in the rear (2nd row) and someone try’s to move the seat forwards will the seat stop?
Would wrapping the car or if it was extremely dirty affect the sensors on the car? or will the sensors scan right through it all? I know most people wouldn't have a muddy tesla but it IS a car and cars should be able to perform even when dirty. So just curious.

Does it have a reserve mechanism for when you're low on power? As well how can you find charging station if that was ever a situation to occur?
MattTechStudio Yes there is a reserve of (from what Ive experienced) 2-5 miles of range which isnt much tbh but will work if close to a supercharger. Theres apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to help you find a place to find chargers around you but on road trips you can use the Tesla Touchscreen and find Superchargers that you can charge at along your journey.
Thanks, that awesome to hear, wonder if they will make a portable charger to but separately.
you guys are killing it with the production quality. love the drone shots! :D
from all the research i have done, the miles that show on your projected range is derived from the EPA estimated range and the amount of energy in the pack, not adaptive to the way you drive. Can you confirm that you have seen it change?
Song name @ 0:45 is: Wally Gagel, Xandy Barry - Day Drinking
Is the extra glass on the windshield that goes above your head make it more hot inside and letting in too much light?
What's the advantage of having smaller wheels over bigger wheels & How?

"A few quick little swipes"... 20 hard swipes later
Would love to see more Tesla related videos here! Do you think you'll be releasing a new one on this topic any time soon?
Does the complete sun roof bother you? Does the visor help in such cases?
New logo is dope 👍
+Satish Gabhane thanks man.
Satish Gabhane I agree. You guys should choose a serif for your title, too. But fewer bait-y titles please, guys. Content's great, though.
Good heavens that camera work. The intro floored me.
You can thank the great Andrew Evers for that amazing camera work.
Hey Jon, how're you doing? Quick question: why was the car jittering around in the dash? (eg 5:23 )
I believe it's a bug that is present in the current build of Autopilot. Elon Musk has acknowledged it and said it will be fixed in the upcoming updates.
How does the Model X handle snow ? Impact on battery in colder weather
Lucy's back! How does she find the X?
is this video to help you pay for the car payments?
randomrazr isn't every video?? His job is a video producer...
you're an idiot
33 poeple disagree small penis
How's the leg space on the back seats
Do you have any shots of this excursion with a full vehicle? Loading process, comfort level for adults in the rear, remaining cargo capacity, etc.
I would hate to be in a accident in that. Insurance must be crazy, replacement parts expensive as shit and I'm sure there's a lot of body shops that won't touch it.

ReservourWaffle All Model Xs are dual motor. There is no single motor option.
It improves performance and stability as well as traction.
ahhh I see. Nice!
Does your head ever get hot with the windshield coming all the way up?
did you use a drone for those top angle shots
+Subham Banerjee we did.
What is the ground clearance like? Have you ever had any trouble of it being too low or hitting any speed bumps etc with 5 or more people on board?

pw1388 Also, if you pinpoint the issue a little WD40 may help
I am a new owner model X, today is my 3rd day driving my new Tesla😍 I love it💜 I got the white on white as well..Thank you so much for you video.. Happy New Year🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉
will the auto door opener detect heavy wind and compensate so that they don't fly open?
How fast does it charge at super charger stations?
0-80% in 30 minutes, the only 20% in another 30 minutes.
Of you got the new version why do you have the 2 back break calpers
when will it be available in other countries
Will the door stop if there is another car beside you that it will hit?
I would like to know if you have to take it in for any servicing ?
I haven't yet.
Hands down the best customer testimonial vid I've seen - nice work dude and yes the drone shots are amazing. I am much more likely to feel comfortable picking the white seats now. Maybe hit us back with a quick update vid at 8-10 months to see if it still holding up the same
Drone shots are amazing, the blue colour looks so cool.
The "synthetic leather" (aka plastic) seats surface is disgustingly uncomfortable. It's literally like sitting on plastic sheets.
Does the car need service often in terms of miles or every year?
Great shots. How does the car heat/ac work for heating up or i guess keep car warm ? How bad does this effect mileage or distance/?
+Jacob Henson heats and cools fast. Minimal range impact.
TechnoBuffalo How long does it take one of those fast charging station to charge all the way up ?
0-80% in 30 mins, 80-100% in another 30.
How is the sound system and media software?
So many motors for the doors. So much added weight?
Great review. Let us know if the panels stay in alignment. And if the full wing stops making a noise.
Is there a place to where people list their referral codes for new buyers to use?
What's the name of the song that starts at 0:48 ?
Man, make more videos like these. Brilliant presentation 👌
+JSantana319 that's the plan.
All these electric actuators and small motors all over the car... How is that gonna hold up after let's say 5 years? Do older Teslas have a lot of electrical issues, or r they doing ok?

+Bori thanks Bori!
TechnoBuffalo Styxhexenhammer666 still hasn't made my Armenian Genocide video yet.

at 2:55 you can see that one of the the falcon doors is busted, it didn't go as high as the other one. they are NOT simetric anymore
Not busted, they only go up a certain height depending on how close the car next to you is.
what drone do you use? It looks awesome!!!
Does the passager windows goes down on the Falcons doors?
Do you use a cargo net in the trunk? How much can you carry, say you go grocery shopping?
Do you have regenerative braking disabled? I thought they got more city miles than highway miles.
+Mason Juarez o. Have it on standard.
That was a really cool intro video jon. best one you have ever done.
How do you charge it at home. Did you have to adapt anything in your garage? How much do they cost? How do you find charging stations? your car looks cool with the blue and white combo.
I just installed a 220v outlet at home. No need to ever find another charging station, I just plug it in at night.
How much is the yearly maintenance cost on the Model X?
is this san francisco ??
+Ash Ram SoCal
Ash Ram looks like Irvine or around that area

When Tesla says it easy to clean if you spilled a drink on it would it sink in or just stay there? I’ve never tried it before
Can you show all the stuff you do in the mobile app now, and then again after the app update?
Do you get free supercharging?
Great shots, glad you're enjoying it!
Great production value on this vid. What is the name of the last audio track?
This is the best video I think you've ever made! It's definitely the best car review out there! Great work!
+Wouter Van Belle we appreciate that! Thank you.
Loved the video, nice! How long does it take to charge up to 80%?
I like the new look and feel of your new videos!
+Colin Hoffman thanks man. We are trying!
along with the Autopilot 2.0, this feels like TechnoBuffalo 2.0 as well.
Good to see great changes!
+Saarath Pandey thank you. Big things coming.
amazing video Jon loved the drone footage that was incredible tesla is killing it lately, I am excited to get my model p80d
+Nick Ackerman thank you Nick!
Nick Ackerman that isn’t a model do you mean model s p85d
the video quality and cinematography is amazing! worthy of being on TV.
I have a question: how do you put it in park or reverse?
Grace Mckay-Michael it uses a mono-stable switch gear that is on the steering wheel column and you push up for reverse, down for drive, partial up for neutral, and you push a button at the end of the stalk for park.
Goddamn that's some next level camera and production work.
+Christian Boyle 👊
Great drone shots. What do you guys use for your drone footage? Phantom 4/Pro?
+David Anthony good call. Phantom 4
Any regrets with the white seats?
Great video! And much applause to your video team, the pans and aerial shots were incredible!
+Scott Wallace thanks Scott
what kind of model s did you own before this model x?
Associated expenses ? Maintenance and planned check ups ?
Getting mine next week, such a sweet ride.
have you tried the auto pilot for a long time?, let's say driving from LA to Vegas, can I use the auto pilot for most of the highway ?
+Zlatan Z not yet.
Zlatan Z He can't yet, as AP2.0 is still limited. I have AP 1.0 and I use it all the time for extended highway trips. It is great, and awesome for stop and go traffic.
How would a self driving car do in heavy rain or snow/ice conditions? Will the autopilot detect ice and make you manually drive?
Is your favorite color blue by any chance?
