It clearly shows it took a lot of work, but the video is amazing! :) It's crazy to see how much TechnoBuffalo changed from the moment you were still unboxing your mac computer haha!
You should be proud of it. This is a really good review. Yes it is fun to see one of the well known UA-cam car channels drive around in a press car, take it to a track and driving through canyon roads. But day to day actual usage is what it is all about. Things like the visors is something that could be very annoying in everyday use, but something you'll never hear in a normal car review.
Really cool to see a review from somebody who has actually used the car for a while, instead of someone driving it for a day. Also big up to the production quality, keep it up 👐
The batteries will charge for $8, but the management system and OTA computers are always on, so it will take more than just the 75Kw during overnight charging. I think he was just talking about base charge.
Don't comment often, but I felt like I needed to for this video. This video was... beyond incredible! Loved Jon and the car contrasted against the black background, the lighting was perfect, the b-roll and aerial shots were amazing. Just everything- MUAH! Would love to see more TB videos produced this way! Great work! 👍🏻
This is one of the best reviews of the Model X I’ve seen so far! You pretty much explained everything. I’m SO in LOVE with my 7 seat Model X...best car I’ve EVER owned...hands down!
Seriously annoys me with the low view count for techno buffalo for what it deserves. Tech UA-camrs needs to do more collabs so the community can grow. Great video as always Jon! Been a fan since the start 🐃
I have a 2017 CLS 550 and it drives itself now. It Reeds road signs for itself. So when you roll up to the 35 mile an hour Zone coming out of a 45 mile-an-hour Zone it will slow down on its own. It does have radar but it mainly uses 4 Forward and for rearward-facing stereo cameras. That uses those cameras to digitize everything in it's line of sight.
Thank you for such an in depth video review. I was going to get one later this year, but doing research on this has shown a number of issues which makes me uncomfortable to drop that kind of money on... YET! I think ill stick with gas for a little longer... GWAGON perhaps ?! lol
God forbid you need to replace a part in the Tesla's. They take MONTHS to get a part fixed. It'd be quicker to just buy a new Tesla/Car in the time frame it'll take to get something fixed.
The best review of any review of Tesla that's out there on UA-cam. This in depth review & the mindblowing editing is even better than Motortrend review
Awesome Review Jon!! I am a fellow X owner in Irvine. I agree with you on the windshield, definitely cool but on super sunny days a sunshade is needed. I picked up a heat shield that works great (made a video on that). I had an early X so had some quality issues that the service center resolved, including the clicking noise when the door opens. But it's definitely my favorite car! Plan to take delivery of the 3 later this year! Definitely looking forward to it!
70-80% ceramic tint on the windshield makes a world of difference with heat reduction. Ceramic is expensive as hell, but it'll also protect the interior from being damaged by UV rays.
Love this non-fan boy video. Very informative and non bias. Because of this i feel better seriously looking at the model X. I know what I am and am not getting.
It really shows how much care and time you and the team spent on this video Jon. Amazing work! Aside from being informative, it's also beautiful to watch!
This video really hit a lot of great points. This video setup and quality is absolutely amazing and top notch, whatever you guys did in this video keep it up! If this is a new beginning for TB I'm certainly looking forward to what great content you publish next!
I really appreciate your unbiased review. It's always nice to see what it's like to own a Tesla with a family. Love your channel, please keep the videos coming!!
I can see people doing things like setting alarms for appointments, n then forgetting bout the appointment while working. Going outside only to see that their car left them to go to their appointment with out them lol now u gotta call ur car to come get u lol more money, more problems, " MY DAMN TESLA DONE LEFT ME" LOL
Great review from an actual owner without obvious bias. Love the video production too! Thanks for taking the trouble and providing a balanced perspective on ownership.
Nice review. I own (lease) an X90D, and am glad to hear you're still enjoying the vehicle after a year. It's not perfect, but then nothing is. I do really enjoy driving it, and it hauls my 3 kids around with ease and safety. I've got no real complaints. Cheers!
Absolutely amazing video! I gotta say this video is by far the best one TechnoBuffalo has put out in a long time (not saying others are bad by any margin haha).
It's hard to imagine spending 134k on a car. Just to get around town... Especially when its going to depreciate greatly in value after just a couple years. I've driven a Model S before, and while i do have to admit, they're very nice. And feel very luxurious, right up there with Cadillac and Mercedes. At the end of the day. It is just a way to get from where you are to where you're going... I'm not saying everyone should drive beaters. But there are plenty of 30k-40k cars/SUV's out there that are very nice and safe. I don't want to go all electric bad enough to pay 3x as much for it. I'd rather have two 35k cars (SUV/Truck and a Sporty/play car combo would be nice) and put that other 64k in the bank or some kind of savings or trust account for my children.
Awesome review. My major concern: how hot does it really get in the car if the roof doesn’t truly block out the sun completely? Is there anyway to offset the immense heat? (I have two toddlers, and while most adults have the mental discipline to deal with a semi-uncomfortable situation, we all know children can have a tough time adjusting to difficult environments at times.)
Here is some Real World Datta. The issue with BEV batteries is not Sudden Failure, but at what point slow degredation do you declare unfit for Automotive. Seems like 40% loss will be around average city surbuban driver in just under 15 years. That is only for large 40Kwh plus BEV built as of 2017 and might even be better than expected. teslanomics.co/tesla-batteries-last-forever-basically.html docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/t024bMoRiDPIDialGnuKPsg/edit#gid=0
I love Mark Linsangan, he's incredible and Jon... There's a reason he's a tech review pioneer and still so great and respected in the industry. Things like this inspire me to get a Model 3 and then some time in the future, a nicer model (possibly). Full time student, full time employee and I sell around $14-16 thousand dollars annually through selling online. Not sure when I'll be able to comfortably afford a Model 3 but I've never wanted anything more in life.
"You either love them or hate them [falcon wings]. I'm kind of in the middle." So then, Jon... When you don't fit yourself into the scenario you just described, doesn't that kind of reduce the effectiveness of your either/or statement? More like "you love them, hate them, or fall somewhere in the middle." So... Basically people's opinions of falcon wings are like EVERYTHING ELSE people have options about?! 🤔 lol...
This was the first time I heard someone complain about a harsh ride. Is this something they "fixed" with newer iterations of the X? Possibly a settings control on the air suspension?
Very nice review. Jon, to say that 4.5 secs 0-60 ... "so it is not a slow car for being this big" ... is a bit of a misnomer. This is as fast, if not faster than many muscle cars. How fast does a car have to be in order not to be " not so slow" :)
Damn John ballin' Escalade and a Model X, nice. My neighbor got a Model X recently and I like to flap my hands like a bird when I see him driving it every once in awhile. It never gets old. HA HA. I was skeptical about the falcon wing doors until I saw people with kids using them and then I realized how useful they were. Even having a dog I could see how much easier they would be for getting my dog in and out versus standard doors.
They aren't that useful if you don't have kids though. They're more of a pain to wait for them to open when you just want to quickly put something in or grab something out of the car. Also a lot of garages are too low to accommodate the doors and mechanism for the doors also limits headroom. Long term reliability is also questionable since none of these cars have been on the streets for more than 2 years. They should've just made two versions of the car so you could pick regular doors if you wanted.
Hey Jon, really awesome review. In fact one of the best most honest and detailed out there. Just picked up a Tesla myself last week. CPO Model S 2014. No autopilot :(
2:59 I have watched a lot of Model X reviews and other people said that it charges to 80% in about 40 mins. Another thing is that if you go to Tesla.com they are showing a new Tesla called the Model Y and it is the Model 3’s front end on a Model X
Thank you for a very constructive review. Giving the bad as well as the good is very good. I had no idea the suspension were that hard so it is something I will keep in mind.
I received my Model X 3 weeks ago. We have the same vehicle and color , except that I have the 5 seats with a black vegan interior, glad to hear about the durability. Model X 75D. Like you I love the huge wind shield. Visors are beyond useless:-) I used the have "dropped" Porsche 911 and love the Tesla suspension. 100% agree with you on your comments. My favorite car too. BUT I wish i'd gotten the P100D :-)
One question I always have on any unconventional door designs would be how it's like when you are getting in or out in heavy rain. Main concern is if the water would drain quickly enough around the frame and not overthrow onto the passenger or seat. This is ONE thing never mentioned from many reviews I have watched on UA-cam. If you would answer that, it's much appreciated. Thank you.
This was a very slick and cool video! Nice work. My friends parents have an X. The autopilot feature kinda freaks me out. Haha! I look forward to when the cars are fully autopilot ready.
Great review. I just ordered on and have 3 days to make changes with no extra charge. So I have a few questions. Do you find the 75 kW battery pack lacking in range in normal day to day use? How is Autopilot in the stop and go traffic? Does it is do 20-0-20 without you having to touch the pedals? I thought there was a bit more road noise than expected. Is that your experience?
I’m 6 folt 8, or 2 meters - how is the X for tall guys? I’ve tried the S thought it was close to getting crammed over my head - does the X offer more space overhead than the S?
Hello TechnoBuffalo, I am curious about how did you get that anker special link. Are you a amazon affiliated marketer? Because it has your channel name in the link
Hey Jon... how's the Ultra White holding up these days? I have ordered a Model 3 Performance with the white and worrying a little about the durability/stain resistance (especially jeans). Cheers from Aus!
As always you made a great video Jon and your team and the drone team, I think you could do a video about anything because you have a good perspective about what the content should be.
If you are ordering a Tesla and want at least 1,000 miles of free superchargers order here: ts.la/jonathan2047
Valid in the EU as well?
I am beyond proud of this video, it took us about 2-3 weeks to produce. I hope you guys enjoy this owners review.
It clearly shows it took a lot of work, but the video is amazing! :) It's crazy to see how much TechnoBuffalo changed from the moment you were still unboxing your mac computer haha!

"The Model X isn't a perfect car; but it's a perfect car for me". I love this so much for some reason.
+saultyboi appreciate that.
I wish I could get a Model X but I did buy a 2013 S 85 :)
His face has an iphone x notch lol
Cody Bullington 😂
How’s the reliability? I have heard the newer Teslas have good reliability
Love the setup with you and the dark, the car behind you, great work!
Thank you!
Nije los Tesla, ali Alfa je Alfa :D
You have the IPhone X notch haircut
IKR😂I was looking for this comment😂
Chris Cicala LOL
Really cool to see a review from somebody who has actually used the car for a while, instead of someone driving it for a day. Also big up to the production quality, keep it up 👐
Extremely well produced video. Seriously, more like this.
+Ian LeFave more coming soon!
Thanks Ian...we are going to try!
Thanks so much!
Totally agree.

Did you say it takes you about $8 worth of electricity to charge the batteries??? And it will drive 200+ miles
Wow!
The batteries will charge for $8, but the management system and OTA computers are always on, so it will take more than just the 75Kw during overnight charging. I think he was just talking about base charge.
Well I drive 1000+ miles of like $40
The best Model X video. Love that slider shot inside the car at 5:16.
Sad you still ain't verified
It was a pleasure helping you get the specialty camera shots guys! Looking forward to the next one 🙌🏽 Job well done on this review 👌🏽🎥🎬
This was one of your best videos yet. So good!
Thank you Ali!

Thanks so much!
This is one of the best reviews of the Model X I’ve seen so far! You pretty much explained everything. I’m SO in LOVE with my 7 seat Model X...best car I’ve EVER owned...hands down!
I really like when tech reviewers review cars because they come out so crispy and well made. Amazing cinematography!

+EMKWAN REVIEWS I was nervous to, but I've honestly had no issues.
I think it's more down to the fact it's probably waiting for EVs to be a little more polished and refined before investing that much money.
EMKWAN REVIEWS I agree. But keep in mind, refueling an EV is VERY cheap compared to gas.
God forbid you need to replace a part in the Tesla's. They take MONTHS to get a part fixed. It'd be quicker to just buy a new Tesla/Car in the time frame it'll take to get something fixed.
2 weeks ago my heart was set on the 2018 G-wagon was ready to order but now Tesla all the way.
The best review of any review of Tesla that's out there on UA-cam. This in depth review & the mindblowing editing is even better than Motortrend review

brilliant video. Never been the biggest fan of the Model X but this has opened my eyes to how useful and convenient the car could be for other buyers.
Wow. The visuals are absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work.
+Ayyan Talib thank you!
You guys did a great job with this video! Always raising that TB bar of excellence.
Thanks for that!!!
so ... should i consider buying a used model x from 2016-17?
Every time I watch one of your newer videos, I'm blown away by the production quality! I remember the macbook unboxings shot with a webcam!
+Adam thanks Adam!
This is next level for you John, congrats! Watching your channel since Macbook unbox.
+Alexandre Andrianov thanks for sticking with us!

I m about half way into the the video and I have started falling for this dope quality video

Do you have the 6 or 6 seater?
I have the six seater, tan interior.
What are the inconvinence with falcon wing door?
cinema writer Dude, he wrote INconveniece--he was asking for the OPPOSITE of what you laid out there.
Good honest review John.. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely amazing video! I gotta say this video is by far the best one TechnoBuffalo has put out in a long time (not saying others are bad by any margin haha).
Appreciate that, thank you!
This video convinced me to go out and get one for myself. Now my wife wants her own.
Man this was a really cool video. Wish you did car reviews now lol
Thanks Ram. We have a few more coming.

Thanks for such a helpful review Jon Rettinger
Is this paint still available? Can't seem to find it on the website
Big fan of TB. Big fan of Tesla. Big fan of Anker.
This video was absolutely incredible, Jon!
Do they give you an option after your lease term to extend the lease?
beautifully shot, that rear view mirror suprcharger shot though 😍😍😍😍 and kudos for being clear and honest in your opinion about the car.
What color is your car? Is it the blue they advertise on their website or is it a special ordered color?
What about the longevity of those batteries, how much charge cycles they can go through?

the set up for this video and the video quality and shot are crisp👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Completely agree on the suspension and the windshield, but the falcon wings doors are really good in every day use.
This was the first time I heard someone complain about a harsh ride. Is this something they "fixed" with newer iterations of the X? Possibly a settings control on the air suspension?
Love this kind of format. Nice and relaxed. Something like a non geek could understand. Good job
This is one the best videos you guys have ever made! A pure joy to watch. Thanks!
Thanks!
Question, do you think after owning the P75 would you rather have opted to buy the 100D?
Very sweet looking video! The car shots in the darkness plus the drone shots were very well done! Good job on the review as well!
Great video, and way underrated at 71,000 views. It deserves millions.
Very nice review.
Jon, to say that 4.5 secs 0-60 ... "so it is not a slow car for being this big" ... is a bit of a misnomer. This is as fast, if not faster than many muscle cars. How fast does a car have to be in order not to be " not so slow" :)

Good video , I live on Vancouver Island and the back doors may be a tad slow in some of the island rain we get in the winter
Those shots are sick. Great job.
The air suspension on my mx 100d is one of the most smoothest ride I've been in, even on the lowest height setting.
It's been almost a year. How you feel about it now?
Hey Jon, really awesome review. In fact one of the best most honest and detailed out there. Just picked up a Tesla myself last week. CPO Model S 2014. No autopilot :(
+Louie Tran thank you Louie!
Thumbs up if you feel they should start doing car reviews! Cuz the production quality of this video is outta this world!
Agreed!

Wow. One of the best videos that you've made on this channel . Good job to the whole time !
Thanks!
Awesome work! Love the shots, the stage, everything, one of the best reviews I've seen!
+ol1bit thank you!
This was a very slick and cool video! Nice work. My friends parents have an X. The autopilot feature kinda freaks me out. Haha! I look forward to when the cars are fully autopilot ready.
I really like the color you chose Jon. I'd get that color on any car.
Does tesla has regular 12v convention battery in the frunk hidden? I was told it has one.
Beautifully shot video. It's also nice to watch a review that isn't all rainbows and unicorns. Thanks for the entertainment and honest review.
That's what we were going for, thank you.
I don't know if I should keep my Organs or own Tesla.
jackson nkwama the model 3 is around the same price as a bmw 3 series
Jon Dittmar Yea, but BMW 3 series is really expensive to ....
Well you only need 1 kidney 🤷♂️
You only need half your brain
Keep your organs
why is the music by the end sounds like it's broken?
Great review. I just ordered on and have 3 days to make changes with no extra charge. So I have a few questions. Do you find the 75 kW battery pack lacking in range in normal day to day use? How is Autopilot in the stop and go traffic? Does it is do 20-0-20 without you having to touch the pedals? I thought there was a bit more road noise than expected. Is that your experience?
A well made video! Thank you for the honest review! Please keep making more videos like this. I am impressed by the increase quality of this channel.
Great production on the video, especially the lighting.
I'm commenting in between of watching this video, this video is crazy good, Jon! Amazing job.
That is awesome, thank you!
TechnoBuffalo Thank you!
So do you charge it up to 100 or 80 percent?
I’m 6 folt 8, or 2 meters - how is the X for tall guys? I’ve tried the S thought it was close to getting crammed over my head - does the X offer more space overhead than the S?
Hello TechnoBuffalo, I am curious about how did you get that anker special link. Are you a amazon affiliated marketer? Because it has your channel name in the link
If the Falcon Wings doors came as an option, would you have not chosen them? The model Y is an SUV but don't have those doors.
Hey. love your work.

Do u have an escalade too
Hey Jon... how's the Ultra White holding up these days? I have ordered a Model 3 Performance with the white and worrying a little about the durability/stain resistance (especially jeans). Cheers from Aus!
Definitely one your best video yet! Brilliant visuals and review!
Beautiful video!!! First video I "liked" on UA-cam in a while. Keep up the good works!
That colour on the exterior looks dope Jonathan 👌🏾
Thank you!
You produced this amazingly, keep us updated on the progress? Really want to try this car out
As always you made a great video Jon and your team and the drone team, I think you could do a video about anything because you have a good perspective about what the content should be.
Thank you for the kind words!
Great video Jon, the quality is fantastic, also awesome end card screen!
thanks for the review... great car... please keep us posted about the car..
Planning on it.
