The Johnny Bravo episode did Bio-dome better than the actual movie did Bio-dome. Fixed the plot holes, the main character who screws over everyone is SUPPOSED to be an idiot (who gets beaten up in the end), and it's all actually funny. It's like the cartoonists wanted to see if they could do a better job in a children's cartoon about a sex crazed idiot.
Even the one NON-annoying Paulie Shore performance (His uncredited voice acting as Bobby from A Goofy Movie) had that one annoying line: "Cheddar! Aaawooo!!! Cheddar whizzy!"
This would've been an infinitely better flick if it had been a sci-fi psychological horror film. Five people go into space for a year only to find that- somehow- Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin are on the space station with them, not only eating their food and breathing their oxygen but apparently openly trying to sabotage their supplies and fragile ecosystem. You can't get them out, and it would land you in jail back on earth if you killed them- and then you wake up and Pauly Shore is in bed with you. Pauly Shore *never stops laughing*. Pauly Shore cannot be killed, no matter what you try. Pauly Shore is infinite & endless & REALLY FUCKING ANNOYING.
Too bad he decided to be in propaganda movies that don't actually teach Christianity and instead just preach unhealthy hatred of anyone with different beliefs than the filmmakers...
Paulie Shore was mildly amusing on Encino Man because he was a side character; his annoyances were utilized sparingly and he ALMOST had charm to him. The problem with BioDome is that he's just not a good leading man, and forcing his schtick to carry a whole film is a terrible idea. After 3 or 4 films of this, Shore remains a product of his time.

Bio-Dome was never a scrapped Bill and Ted sequel, thank god. I can't really see this as a concept for a Bill and Ted film and I die a little every time I hear that hoax.
I could see it if you stretched it to work. Bill & Ted invest in a bio dome in the 90’s because they believe the research it will acquire will help the world and create the utopian future society, but a member of DeNomolos’s group finds a way to mess it up by giving the bio dome an obnoxious corporate sponsor that calls all the shots and makes a bunch of clueless celebrities be part of the team that go into the bio dome instead of scientists to get publicity, so Bill & Ted sign up to be part of the team so they can keep the celebrities in check and make the bio dome’s results be positive and beneficial whilst also trying to protect their image because the eco friendly people who would’ve supported them for just investing now think they’re going into the dome as a publicity stunt

Shane Black is good when he’s not working on other people’s franchises The Nice Guys is one of my favourite movies
I rather watch this movie instead of that piece of shit tv show called Friends
@@mrcritical6751 As long as there's a good time travel aspect in there and genuine comedy, that might've actually worked.
0:46 when he said this I knew the review was nothing but gold
Gotta love any Nostalgia Critic episode that starts with him getting straight to the point!
Let us pray... for the loss of comedy...
Channel Awesome ( Nostalgia Critic) can you review Hannah Montana The Movie. Also do you hate Disney Channel's live action sitcoms?
Jack Whitty Why such a hatred of Disney content for kids?
2kAIIDay what do you enjoy watching Disney Channel's live action sitcoms like Jessie, Dog With A Blog, Liv and Maddie, Best Friends Whenever, Austin and Ally, Hannah Montana and Bunk'd?
Jack Whitty No, I don't give them any ounce of attention... didn't know they existed. I don't understand why you even tune into the channel, how old are you?
They had good ones like Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens
Tod in the shadows already did it.
I refuse to believe this movie exists! This is all a lie! All A Lie!
What movie? I don't see any movie. I certainly see any annoying piece of garbage movie that represents everything wrong with humanity here.
My ex-boyfriend really liked this movie. Note the second word.
Saruhh.Anne I'm sure you were just a joy to be with.
I'd say that relationship ended rough. For the ex 🤕
Boyfriend?
13:27 It's tough to be a god
(like if you get the reference)
Road to El dorado?
Please don't reference an actual good movie for this. It's not worthy.
I frickin' love Nostalgia Critic when he LOSES HIS DAMN MIND! XD
Same

"Miss Petra von Kant"
...That sounded really suspicious.
Why
@@alexjewett7455 Because the last name sounds like a dirty word.
It’s also a reference to Rainer Werner Fassbinder film.
It's strange that Doug mentioned where we've seen the head scientist and the blonde girlfriend before, but there's no mention of the redheaded scientist. That's Kylie Minogue.
@@ARCtheCartoonMaster Yeah, I’m European and Kylie is very big indeed here.
"Now for those of you who are young who have no idea who Pauly Shore is.............good."
Brilliant.
How DARE you compare this abomination to the divine gift of hot pockets?!
I'm down for a hot pocket once in a while, but they really aren't delicious or healthy, so the only benefit to buying them is keeping your intestines from eating themselves.
@@ShonowtH I disagree hotpockets are delicious despite being unhealthy but that's just my opinion
Plot hole Number 1. Why could the dome not be re-sealed after opening the door for five minutes to kick out the morons? (Where you'd basically restart the experiment after falling behind schedule by a Day at the most?
Minnion Cuz movie...
Even bigger plot hole: doesn't the bio-dome have a gun? The two idiots shoulda been killed and composted
There being 2 extra people would compromise the data even more than opening and closing the door ^^"
10:58 I didn’t know Doug referenced Pleasantville so much.
Doug needs a purple heart for getting through watching this movie. And unfortunately I did growing up with Pauley Shore movies and Doug said it best for the young crowd who doesn't know who Shore is; good.
Better you than me. I grew up in the early 2000s watching great movies and having amazing tv shows and cartoons.
I am perfectly fine not growing up in the 80s and 90s.
@@moxxiiscarlett7141there were plenty of great shows and movies from the 80s and 90s. Like Gargoyles, Batman the animated series, and great horror movies. Just actors like Pauly Shore is one that either you like or don't. Adam Sandler had some great movies himself but he's another actor either you like him or not. Some actors and actresses you can learn to enjoy if you watch certain movies.
@@yoda908 I didn't have to grow up with Bio-Dome though
@@moxxiiscarlett7141 I'm jealous of you
the Closed Captions are great.
[high-pitched laughing like a dying dolphin on helium]
No one mentions Kylie Minogue.
I think shes trying 2 forget this god awful movie like we are
No they just type her
i think this is the first time a review has made me go "WHAAAAAAAAAT?"
tenacious d is in this movie? holy shit.
why weren't they in it more.
As a special needs person myself, I feel offended at these two being called "special needs". Even the low-function special needs kids at my high school weren't this bad.
Yeah as an autistic person myself, that line kinda offended me.
I'm unfortunately the one that's high school has these too dumb to live kind of people...
@@cyborgparrot1996 I'm autistic too, and I honestly don't care about what kinda person they are, if they annoy me they're just an idiot by another name.
@@freddyrichards878 I always dealt with idiots, one of my classmates even liked Mr. Pickles. God, I wanted to punch him.
@lightning crashes an old mother dies Yep.
Still wondering how come you never acknowledge Kylie Minogue when she appears in anything. Not here, not in “Street Fighter”, not in “Moulin Rouge”, even though her music career lends itself to so many jokes.
I swear when I was young I watched an episode of Johnny Bravo of him being in a bio dome and ruin everything before I ever saw this film and when I watched it I was really disappointed and frustrated. Johnny Bravo had higher laugh moments than this.
In the 90s, the sad part is, there were tons of pauly shores walking around. And they got chicks. Stupid ones but they were successful for a while.
I don't know why, but the clown part almost killed me. That made me laugh for too long.
That movie was so funny I forgot to laugh
that movie made me so happy I forgot how to live. *KiLL mE pLeAsE!*
These guys are amazing. They are literal real life versions of Beavis and butthead
Said no one ever.
BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD ARE EINSTEIN COMPARED TO THEM
5:40 Mimi Simkins IS a fashion model. This is her first screen credit.
I WAS FROZEN TODAY!
11:22 is one of the darkest yet funniest Critic jokes
14:29 Guy with blue paint in face: We're all gonna die
NC: I am acting XD
If some stranger climbs into my bed like that, I wouldn't just toss them out. I'd break every bone in their body.
Apparently Kylie Minogue says Minogue says Bio-Dome was her worst career move and is the only thing she’s done in her professional life that her father ridicules her for.
It's like a live-action version of Beavis & Butthead, except it's not funny!
So, just a live action Beavis and Butthead.
Beavis and butthead could be professors compared to these idiots
