Good god man, how could you watch this crap? I didn't even last more than a minute watching your review because of the film clips. You really do watch it so we don't have to.
alwin winter The episode was originally uploaded in 2011, but somewhere in 2014 (or '15), copyright sweeps (manned predominantly by Viacom but other studios joined as well) deleted HALF of his vids, and some others were claimed by studios for monetization purposes, leaving the Critic dry.
You know what would make this an actually good film? The babies aren't actually geniuses. Imagine if the babies were actually just regular old stupid babies, and the adults just seriously overreact and are completely delusional, and so many things happen that the adults blame on the babies.
When I was a kid, I didn't want to watch this. Then my older sister told me that it kind of was like Nickelodeon's Rugrats. I should have listened to my seven-year-old gut.
Well, in a way, Lucky Herrick, she was right; "Rugrats" is just as godawful as this film is, so the comparison is apt (no child should have to watch either pile of garbage!).
I remember seeing commercials for this as a kid and I thought it looked cool but never got around to seeing it until I was older, once I did i was not that impressed.
william mason Don't nitpick, or you'll end up with a 1 million word comment...😂 Because according to this "movie" babies have adult skulls, knows things that even Einstein or Hawkins never figured out yet they still shit their diapers, hypnose gives you a robotic voice, random people can "check" your home when the neighborhood blacks out, kidnapping kids involve somehow a bag because just taking the little shit away is too simple, babies can run in traffic and nobody will give a rats ass, just giving the name of the main characters in the first five minutes is apparently enough when it comes to give a shit about them later(I still don't remember the lady's name), having a two years old punch you in the face is enough to knock an adult out, they can't learn babies language despite having a computer interpret "baby music", Whit and his sister should be at least 9 month apart in age.. Can go on like that for hours!
17:04 is an especially egregious one for me. I hate it when good musicians get dragged into bad movies, and Randy Travis had a beautiful singing voice.
So... How did your relationship with the wall evolved from this point ? Did you met regularly ? Did Hyper and it fought over you ? Is it Bill's brother-in-law ? We need answers !
This is one of my favourite Nostalgia Critic episodes! The pacing, the ideas of the creativity being sucked out, the jokes and the use of the convention. I kinda wish I was at that Q and A, kinda.
7:08 Did you know that she actually played Chuckie's mom in the Rugrats Mother's Day special? How did she go from a genius episode about babies to Baby Geniuses?
I don't know how old I was when I watched this movie, but it came out when I was either 4 or 5. I remember that I thought the baby mascot was weird. I think I wanted to believe the idea that kids could be smarter than adults. It's really weird seeing clips now because I don't think I quite understood that the kids were dubbed with special effects the first time I watched this movie.
12:00 and thus Nostalgia Critic discovered a meditation style that's been around since ancient Japan. Wall staring meditation, simply stare at a fixed space on the wall and let thoughts flow in and out like water but don't linger on the thoughts and try not to do it so long that your limbs fall off
Hey Channel Awesome, I would like to say a quick word for my friend and I. We are huge fans of your guys' work. His videos always make him laugh, and I as well. We both love your content and we always enjoy the latest video you upload. My friend loves the shit out of Nostalgia Critics work, and he NEVER stops talking about your latest videos! Thanks guys. You are one of the few channels that still makes quality content, which is especially difficult to find these days what with the Adpoclypse going around. Thank you for always producing great content (except for Bart's Nightmare) and we look forward to the many laughs to come :) -Two Obviously Huge Fans
Hey James. One thing I wished NC would explain is, he said sometimes he enjoys a movie just for being so silly / the movie is so terrible it's actually hilarious. Dennis the Menace was incredibly silly in so many ways, even the way the thief and Mr Wilson got angry, I can't stop laughing XD
you've helped me alot through depression Nostalgia Critic, someone left me devastated and your videos are all that's keeping me going, so thanks for everything.
And I the only one counting all the character cosplays I recognize- For example- 4:56 Amazing Meyrin (black Butler) cosplay that only appears for a few seconds! Props to that Amazing cosplayer btw- She looks just like her- 💕 If anyone else recognizes any other characters put them as a reply! :3
This entire review reminds me of a snippet from Fawful's Minion regarding Pokemon XY's graphics. "I'll put it blunt and deadpan this time. Holy shit, those graphics."
Lol "the baby sweared" at 6:20. You're looking for "swore", Doug! This video is just as good this time as it was when I saw it . . . fucking hell, 6 YEARS AGO? Dammit, I'm old.
At 13:08 this reminds me of the little skit from Wayne's World 2, when Wayne asks for directions to a church on Gordon St. And the first actor sucks making wayne ask for another actor, Charleston Heston, to read the line. Haha But that joke worked, whereas the stair scene didn't.
5:18 What I think is really stupid is how the kid is playing beautiful music just by pounding on the keys. He's hardly even touching them. It's just so obvious that he has strings on his wrists so they could use him like a puppet.
Ah, yes...I was actually at this con. First time going to an anime convention. It helped that it was at my alma mater, BGSU, and I was living in the dorms at the time. I'm even in the crowd shot during Nostalgia Critic's meltdown midway through the vid (black coat next to the Hunter S. Thompson cosplayer in the right column of seats and toward mid-back...just look for the white hat and yellow glasses), so that was pretty awesome to see this video shortly after going to this con, needless to say. Doug and Rob were both great and friendly, even with fans who were too nervous to say much other than a quiet, "Hi, I like your reviews" (AKA Me). Best con I've ever gone to...well, maybe tied with Wizard World when I saw Robert Englund's panel back in 2014. Anyone who read this jumbled mess, thank you for your time. :P
3:44 (Nostalgia Critic the first time he saw the movie): WHAT! WHAT! WHAT! WHAT! WHAT! WHAT THE ABSOLUTE MONKEY BULLF**** MADE THIS PIECE OF CHUCK-E-CHEESE ANIMATRONIC BUTT CRACK! IT'S LIKE BARNEY THE DINOSAUR HAD A HUMAN BABY FACE SMASHED INTO HIS FACE WITH SHIT WHILE HE TURNED ROBOTIC! THANK GOD THAT HE DOESN'T SAY BARNEY'S LOVE SONG.
If MTV would air Baby Geniuses, it would probably include the biggest fart sound ever! Even the Nostalgia Critic was right about this sorry-ass movie. If only it was rated PG-13.
Finally got this one cleared of copyright.
Check out the newest Nostalgia Critic here - ua-cam.com/video/VOEl3ERptCs/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching!
Channel Awesome yw you beautiful man!!
Channel Awesome Can you please review the remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show?
Channel Awesome I do not get the thing with "aired originally 2011. Could you explain?
Good god man, how could you watch this crap? I didn't even last more than a minute watching your review because of the film clips. You really do watch it so we don't have to.
alwin winter The episode was originally uploaded in 2011, but somewhere in 2014 (or '15), copyright sweeps (manned predominantly by Viacom but other studios joined as well) deleted HALF of his vids, and some others were claimed by studios for monetization purposes, leaving the Critic dry.
Nostalgia Critic, making the unwatchable bearable for almost 10 years.
Men, the tv stations in my country put this movie like 5 times per year when I was a kid and I had to watch it every time!
PUT THAT COOKIE DOWN!!!!!!
Red Nemo That's my cookie!
couldn't agree more, godspeed critic, godspeed...
Red Nemo i know right after watching the wizard review I went and got the movie it was ok but with the critics help it became so much better
The animatronic baby is the true villain of this movie.
Ted the animatronic baby should be in 5 nights at freddys
Ted it looks like big head from RE7
It is really a horror movie.
I love animatronic baby this movie
I knew it
Even when the movie is so freaking boring, Nostalgia Critic can make it just a bit better with his humor! God bless you, NC!
Giovanni Orellana Doug Walker is a legend is comedy!
Like every other video he made :p
Giovanni Orellana that exactly what I think because of him I enjoyed the care bears😂
Sorry its not darkheart its DARKHEART👹
Giovanni Orellana AMEN!!!!!!!!!
Giovanni Orellana Amen!!

Ooh, clever. It'd be difficult to pull off, but not impossible.
Make it a comedy-horror film, and I'd see it.
so, like a dark comedy version of Rugrats? i can see that happening and doing well.
That actually sounds clever
And at the end, they get sent off to a mental people's home.
The guy that NC hit at 8:55 should receive an Oscar for his acting.
A message to Hollywood: removing reviews of bad movies won't make people like it. It just makes you look desperate and makes me angry.
Who's done that and when?
Preach it, brother! 🤘
What's more, bribing critics to give movies glowing reviews isn't gonna help, either.
Seeing Doug walk through my university is the most surreal experience I’ve ever felt watching a film review.
Andre the Giant + Gollum = Colin Mochrie Baby Animatronic
even that sounds less scarier than the animatromic in the movie
Some how that sounds like an insult of that pairing.
Doug's running internal monologue is my everyday life.
"It's giving me little, but it's taking away nothing." Nice quote
my mom was kathleen turner's personal assistant for almost seven years in the 80s and even she can't fathom why kathleen agreed to be in this movie
When I was a kid, I didn't want to watch this. Then my older sister told me that it kind of was like Nickelodeon's Rugrats.
I should have listened to my seven-year-old gut.
Lucy Herrick She tricked you, what a "Sly" little one...
Okay, I'll see myself out. 😆
Lucy Herrick i never liked this movie either heck I grew up with rugrats in paris movie instead
That bitch!
I had almost forgotten that that movie existed. was it really nessasary to re open such old wounds. and the kids Toddlers not Baby's?
william mason toddler geniuses doesn't sound right, or flow right.
keiskay actually neither sound good. this movie also reminds me of that failed attempted show Baby bob.
i meant by how they literally sound when spoken, not by how the idea itself sounds.
william mason amazing all the insanity in this movie and that's the bit you have a problem with
william mason Don't nitpick, or you'll end up with a 1 million word comment...😂

1. Freddy Kruger (Creepy)
2. Xenomorph Queen (Unsettling)
3. Cenobites (Disturbing)
4. "The Thing" (Traumatic)
5. Baby Bunting (Soul-Tormenting)
The only Genius in this review is the Nostalgia Critic. Thank God you were there!
17:04 is an especially egregious one for me. I hate it when good musicians get dragged into bad movies, and Randy Travis had a beautiful singing voice.
The CGI is better than Food Fight
Yuya Sakaki Let's be honest. The CGI in a lot of things is better then that POS
Movies like Food Fight exist to make people aware of what bad CGI is.
It also makes the new berserk look decent.
Yuya Sakaki that not saying much
Mindeer no Berserk is worse
Yuya Sakaki screw the ending of arc-v!!!!!!!
Is it just me or does Christopher Lloyd look more like Vladimir Lenin in this film than he does in The Pagemaster?
So... How did your relationship with the wall evolved from this point ? Did you met regularly ? Did Hyper and it fought over you ? Is it Bill's brother-in-law ? We need answers !
His relationship with the wall most certainly did evolve, but not in the way he expected.
Is that how gloyholes happen?
It’s still the wrong color
Haha The Wall.
I am glad he keeps putting the screamer face on the robot baby, makes it less scary.
yeah, makes it real kid friendly too, i'd put the original robot baby face on for halloween to scare the kids away
Does anyone know if this particular screamer face is from any film, creepypasta or anything at all?
@@twistedteller old video of a guy editing his face as like a school project. pretty easy to find if you just look up scary face on youtube.
@@crotchman Merci Beaucoup!
"Mozfart?"
OH MY GOD, I AM DEAD
NC you think you had tough day just because you had to watch this movie. That's nothing. I was frozen today!
15:13
The true inspiration for 5 Nights at Freddy's.
The "Lord of the Rings" music with the baby animatronic is so perfect.
The catwalk scene is one of the most horrifying scenes in film history. Like, seriously, that belongs in The Shining.
It’s the shinning. do you want to get sued?
This is one of my favourite Nostalgia Critic episodes! The pacing, the ideas of the creativity being sucked out, the jokes and the use of the convention. I kinda wish I was at that Q and A, kinda.

What was Christopher Lloyd thinking when he saw the script to this and accepted? You think he’d had more dignity than that.
"Why does he need to hear all of this?"
He's having some memory loss because HE WAS FROZEN TODAY!
Rest In peace Adam West.
amen
KDGaming wait!!!! adam west died😭😭😭
KDGaming I literally met him at fanexpo 2 months ago , oh well it's sad to see such a great man go.
That is irrelevant. You must be like all these other people using someones death to collect likes on a social media platform. Fucking degenerates.
Or he's just trying to inspire a conversation about Adam West.
This is one of my favorite reviews from the NC. The dance sequence is so horrendous and I usually quote that most of the time.
last time I was this early, the joke I'm making was original
TwinkleToez26 Let's be honest: It was never original.
TwinkleToez26 let's be honest you're a fucking moron bitch 🖕
12:43
I've seen too many bad movies!
-Nostalgia Critic (2011)
As always, The Nostalgia Critic never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks, a lot.
"Simpsons did it!" was a thing before Family Guy made that joke?
Wow. That is low.
Well to be fair South Park called it
I don't know how old I was when I watched this movie, but it came out when I was either 4 or 5. I remember that I thought the baby mascot was weird. "Booze. I must have booze." -NC 2011
Best line of Nostalgia Critic. ever. period.
man nostalgia critic sure loves his walls
He should check out wall staring meditation (yes that's a thing)
Unfortunately the rest of the Internet disagreed.
13:21 poor Jim Hanks, at least he does a spot on impersonation of his more popular brother Tom!
I feel like I would be crushed to death if the baby animatronic gave me a hug

"A survivor of being frozen, Christopher Lloyd."

I guess it even made auto-correct dumber.

Babyyoshi309 oh
My sincere condolences to you and your surviving brain cells.
At least you’re aware of that and can fix your spellings. Unlike the the nutjob who can’t spell ‘Hamburgers’ correctly.
i watched this... then the next day i failed a math test... and I have strait A' s in math honors
E- tan but you failed English as evident with your use of "strait" or was it geography you failed?
They could use the right strait/straight before they saw Baby Geniuses
14:57 Critic isn't going to point out how she's wearing Stewie Griffin's overalls?
Please react to Dennis the Menace movie
I won't lie, I loved it as a kid. But I also loved tom and jerry the movie, and I realized what a disaster that movie was
Sssh!! wanna get sued by Fine bros say Review and not Reacted😉
I absolutely loved that movie as a kid. Would thoroughly enjoy watching NC tear it apart.

I'm pretty sure this counts as child abuse..... and neglect..... And possibly rape.
Okay maybe not that last one.
No, you're correct on the last one. A raping of your senses.

Well a few people will rape a child or a baby. Disgusting.
