Channel Awesome yw you beautiful man!!
Channel Awesome Can you please review the remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show?
Channel Awesome I do not get the thing with "aired originally 2011. Could you explain?
Good god man, how could you watch this crap? I didn't even last more than a minute watching your review because of the film clips. You really do watch it so we don't have to.
alwin winter The episode was originally uploaded in 2011, but somewhere in 2014 (or '15), copyright sweeps (manned predominantly by Viacom but other studios joined as well) deleted HALF of his vids, and some others were claimed by studios for monetization purposes, leaving the Critic dry.
Nostalgia Critic, making the unwatchable bearable for almost 10 years.
Men, the tv stations in my country put this movie like 5 times per year when I was a kid and I had to watch it every time!
PUT THAT COOKIE DOWN!!!!!!
Red Nemo That's my cookie!
couldn't agree more, godspeed critic, godspeed...
Red Nemo i know right after watching the wizard review I went and got the movie it was ok but with the critics help it became so much better
I had almost forgotten that that movie existed. was it really nessasary to re open such old wounds. and the kids Toddlers not Baby's?
william mason toddler geniuses doesn't sound right, or flow right.
keiskay actually neither sound good. this movie also reminds me of that failed attempted show Baby bob.
i meant by how they literally sound when spoken, not by how the idea itself sounds.
william mason amazing all the insanity in this movie and that's the bit you have a problem with
william mason Don't nitpick, or you'll end up with a 1 million word comment...😂
Because according to this "movie" babies have adult skulls, knows things that even Einstein or Hawkins never figured out yet they still shit their diapers, hypnose gives you a robotic voice, random people can "check" your home when the neighborhood blacks out, kidnapping kids involve somehow a bag because just taking the little shit away is too simple, babies can run in traffic and nobody will give a rats ass, just giving the name of the main characters in the first five minutes is apparently enough when it comes to give a shit about them later(I still don't remember the lady's name), having a two years old punch you in the face is enough to knock an adult out, they can't learn babies language despite having a computer interpret "baby music", Whit and his sister should be at least 9 month apart in age.. Can go on like that for hours!
Even when the movie is so freaking boring, Nostalgia Critic can make it just a bit better with his humor! God bless you, NC!
Giovanni Orellana Doug Walker is a legend is comedy!
Like every other video he made :p
Giovanni Orellana that exactly what I think because of him I enjoyed the care bears😂
Sorry its not darkheart its DARKHEART👹
Giovanni Orellana AMEN!!!!!!!!!
Giovanni Orellana Amen!!
You know what would make this an actually good film? The babies aren't actually geniuses. Imagine if the babies were actually just regular old stupid babies, and the adults just seriously overreact and are completely delusional, and so many things happen that the adults blame on the babies.
Ooh, clever. It'd be difficult to pull off, but not impossible.
Make it a comedy-horror film, and I'd see it.
so, like a dark comedy version of Rugrats? i can see that happening and doing well.
That actually sounds clever
And at the end, they get sent off to a mental people's home.
Andre the Giant + Gollum = Colin Mochrie Baby Animatronic
even that sounds less scarier than the animatromic in the movie
Some how that sounds like an insult of that pairing.
Doug's running internal monologue is my everyday life.
my mom was kathleen turner's personal assistant for almost seven years in the 80s and even she can't fathom why kathleen agreed to be in this movie
17:04 is an especially egregious one for me. I hate it when good musicians get dragged into bad movies, and Randy Travis had a beautiful singing voice.
I don't know how old I was when I watched this movie, but it came out when I was either 4 or 5. I remember that I thought the baby mascot was weird. I think I wanted to believe the idea that kids could be smarter than adults. It's really weird seeing clips now because I don't think I quite understood that the kids were dubbed with special effects the first time I watched this movie.
last time I was this early, the joke I'm making was original
TwinkleToez26 Let's be honest: It was never original.
TwinkleToez26 let's be honest you're a fucking moron bitch 🖕
"Booze. I must have booze." -NC 2011
Best line of Nostalgia Critic. ever. period.
12:43
I've seen too many bad movies!
-Nostalgia Critic (2011)
Please react to Dennis the Menace movie
I won't lie, I loved it as a kid. But I also loved tom and jerry the movie, and I realized what a disaster that movie was
Sssh!! wanna get sued by Fine bros say Review and not Reacted😉
I absolutely loved that movie as a kid. Would thoroughly enjoy watching NC tear it apart.
Hey James. One thing I wished NC would explain is, he said sometimes he enjoys a movie just for being so silly / the movie is so terrible it's actually hilarious. Dennis the Menace was incredibly silly in so many ways, even the way the thief and Mr Wilson got angry, I can't stop laughing XD
"A survivor of being frozen, Christopher Lloyd."
you've helped me alot through depression Nostalgia Critic, someone left me devastated and your videos are all that's keeping me going, so thanks for everything.
17:57. That’s how I feel towards school.
RIP Adam West. Easily the greatest batman of all time
Not the right time.
Not the right place.
Just doing it for likes.
That Guy not really dude. I don't think a lot of people know he passed.
RIP Adam West
The Chosen Moose I certainly didn't! How sad :(
The Chosen Moose holy shit I didn't even knew he died
I pray for you, NC. The horror.
This entire review reminds me of a snippet from Fawful's Minion regarding Pokemon XY's graphics.
"I'll put it blunt and deadpan this time. Holy shit, those graphics."
i watched this... then the next day i failed a math test... and I have strait A' s in math honors
E- tan but you failed English as evident with your use of "strait" or was it geography you failed?
They could use the right strait/straight before they saw Baby Geniuses
This and the Jungle 2 Jungle review are among my favorite NC reviews.
I love jungle 2 jungle review also
Hey, Nostalgia Critic. Did you hear Adam West died yesterday?
King of Pandas oh my god . Rip Adam west and his batman , cat man and the mayor of quahog from family guy . Adam wee for life
He died yesterday unfortunately.
King of Pandas He died today i thought
King of Pandas are you fucking serious
Statue Teeth TV Yes, it's true.
I think the 2nd guy to get his balls smacked with a ski was one of Tom Hanks' brothers.
8:59 "madness....madness upon stupidity"
as he walks by an akatsuki member in a leather jacket..... i dont know if this is intentional but i like it
15:07 Five Nights At Babies! XD
lawl
Seriously? This was a real fucking thing?
Guilty pleasure, it's just so bad I laughed through the whole thing. It's like a Stephen king miniseries directed by M night Shyamalan.
Omg, you're right! XD
I Was a Literal Baby When I 1st Saw Baby Geniuses in Theaters,&,I Loved it
13:01 they couldn't even get stunt doubles to look remotely similar.
13:14 My reaction to watching Blue's Clues and You. The episodes are literally shot-for-shot remakes of the original episodes!
4:16 the ibfected tinky winky face and scream doesn't help make this less terifying
Wow. This is so bad that it makes Boss Baby look like a masterpiece of movie entertainment.
I love how whenever NC goes to a convention, he tries to implement it in someway, like with the Casper review :3
Lol "the baby sweared" at 6:20. You're looking for "swore", Doug!
This video is just as good this time as it was when I saw it . . . fucking hell, 6 YEARS AGO? Dammit, I'm old.
Ah, yes...I was actually at this con. First time going to an anime convention. It helped that it was at my alma mater, BGSU, and I was living in the dorms at the time. I'm even in the crowd shot during Nostalgia Critic's meltdown midway through the vid (black coat next to the Hunter S. Thompson cosplayer in the right column of seats and toward mid-back...just look for the white hat and yellow glasses), so that was pretty awesome to see this video shortly after going to this con, needless to say. Doug and Rob were both great and friendly, even with fans who were too nervous to say much other than a quiet, "Hi, I like your reviews" (AKA Me). Best con I've ever gone to...well, maybe tied with Wizard World when I saw Robert Englund's panel back in 2014.
Anyone who read this jumbled mess, thank you for your time. :P
This movie is so cringy. Thank dog Nostalgia Critic made it somewhat less painful. It's almost even kind of funny.
I do like that wall.
The second guy who repeats the same dialogue and gets hit in the nuts is Tom Hanks’s brother! I could imagine how things turn out:
Jim: Hey bro. What did you do this year?
Tom: Well I did a sequel to Toy Story and I did a movie from the director of The Shawshank Redemption. What about you Jim?
Jim: I got hit in the nuts by a baby.
Tom: ...Yeah this is why you’re about as successful as me as Joe Estevez is as successful as Martin Sheen.
That “stop him!” at 2:05 sounded so much like Tommy Lee Jones lol
The Baby Animatronic is one of the most terrifying things I have ever seen. It is just as scary as the nightmare Arnold baby from Junior, and baby Loki from Son of the Mask. What is it with truly awful movies and creepy babies?!
2:07 walter white?
I don't know why but I just *love* the way Doug says the word baby. I liked it in his Care Bears II review as well.
Lloyd looks like Vladimir Lenin
More like a Walter White doll.
Love these older NC vids
just plain humor, no need for skits
It’s explained the babies are geniuses cuz the knowledge their parents have is passed down genetically, and honestly I like that idea.
It’s basically the myth that DNA can contain memories of the person it belongs to.
You’ll find that in the Assassins Creed franchise, the Astro Boy movie with Nic Cage etc.
the critic screaming at the Q&A Panel might be one of the funniest moments in the series. Holy crap I cant stop giggling at it. FUCK YOOO-
3:44
(Nostalgia Critic the first time he saw the movie): WHAT! WHAT! WHAT! WHAT! WHAT! WHAT THE ABSOLUTE MONKEY BULLF**** MADE THIS PIECE OF CHUCK-E-CHEESE ANIMATRONIC BUTT CRACK! IT'S LIKE BARNEY THE DINOSAUR HAD A HUMAN BABY FACE SMASHED INTO HIS FACE WITH SHIT WHILE HE TURNED ROBOTIC! THANK GOD THAT HE DOESN'T SAY BARNEY'S LOVE SONG.
I love you, you love me.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! (RUNS INTO THE NEAREST CLIFF)
I remember my parents putting me in my crib so they could have alone time. They stuck in the VHS and shut my door. I got out of my crib and kept trying to press the eject button but I couldn’t reach it (I was like 3) I realize today that this is what messed me up for life
When I watched the scene of the toys attacking a long time ago as a child ( like 5 years old), I could only watch and try not to kill myself while
buying the movie just to burn it and jump into it my self to get rid of the horrors and asked to GOD at night to get rid of my memories at any cost
in my parents Bedroom.
13:02 you can easily tell it's a much older double going down the stairs. They don't even look remotely alike.
If ya ask me
This is one of his best reviews
IHE's voice whenever he says "Baby geniuses" still echoing inside my head
7:00 Ay, its Egbert.
AYYYYY was low key trying to find the homestucks
arent you supposed to be shitposting on shy's comment sessions
At 7:04 we see a terrified Homestuck cosplayer in his natural habitat.
I think I discovered the secret of the movie. This film was written about babies, for babies, BY babies
"If Newborn Babies Could Speak They Would Be The Most Intelligent Beings On Planet Earth"
Nostalgia Critic is the hero we deserve and need.
I wonder if this movie shares a cinematic universe with Boss Baby, everything from "Babies Just Forget Being Able To Speak And Become A Normal Baby" to "Baby Co"/"Baby Corp" ??
The only two things that I remembered of this movie from my childhood were the Putin' on the Rits song, and cracking up at the kicked in the gonads joke. Oh, and the god awful swinging scene.
Oh yea. There is a sequal. Have fun with that!
The Babies curse in this movie. They must be taking Schwarzenegger lessons.
5:18 What I think is really stupid is how the kid is playing beautiful music just by pounding on the keys. He's hardly even touching them. It's just so obvious that he has strings on his wrists so they could use him like a puppet.
15:28 It's a shame this movie didn't have more Killer Klowns from Outer Space in it.
Ha. I was wondering when this would be up.
7:05 The look on that poor guy's face.
13:35 did Doug just go Yorkshire??? 😂😂😂😂
This was actually my favorite movie when I was a kid.
I lost it when he punched the random kid on the his right as he walked. XD
So many people are like "R.I.P adam west" while I'm like "HE DIED ON MY BIRTHDAY!?"
That was one fucking beautiful wall....astoundingly gorgeous...
If MTV would air Baby Geniuses, it would probably include the biggest fart sound ever! Even the Nostalgia Critic was right about this sorry-ass movie. If only it was rated PG-13.
The thumbnail looks more like a baby version of Rob than it does Doug
This movie is made by the Son of the Mask grown up with the Mask!
He says the movie is worse than baby geniuses
Sounds like a voiceover by Seto Kaiba with laryngitis...
14:20 female version of Stewie Griffin
The 90s was one hell of a decade
that wall is so brilliant!
Holy shit, I didn't know this movie was the original fnaf
Am I the only one who laughs their ass off at the scary face/scream at 4:15?
*Announcement of Teen Titans Go theatrically released movie*
Booze. I must have booze. Madness. Madness upon stupidity.
Review Elmo in Grouchland or Chuck E Cheese in the Galaxy 5000.
the narrative to this review is genius for this movie lol. great video
Critic is stronger than I will ever be. i actually vomited during the movie
Bob Clark also gave us Porky's, which also had Kim Catrall.
15:51
If Michael Fassbender was in this movie.
Like in Prometheus or Alien: Covenant
Patrick Martins why have you commented like ten times!?
4:14 The animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's are nothing compared to this monstrosity.
I lost it at the Mozart part. XD
"I am the nostalgia critic, I remember it ..." You definitely haven't had enough booze. ^^
3 of those babies play professional hockey now.
15:40 What. A. Shit Show
Dave Strider spotted at 5:10
So did the whole thing about the researchers studying the "baby geniuses" in a secluded lab facility remind anyone else of the ESPER program from "Akira"?
The first thing that went through my head when I saw the trailer was "what the hell were they thinking?"
This was the very first NC review I ever watched! So happy I did, Doug is inspiring me to hopefully one day do this for a living too lol
10:51 how convenient of them to both be wearing plaid shirts and jeans lmao.
Who watched before 2K views.
Hahaha. One of my favourite reviews by Nostalgia critic so far... and I haven't even seen or heard of Baby geniuses before.
How am i this early I'm before 500 views
I was about to comment about the definition on the video, but that doesn't matter with the quality content.
I'm convinced Doug just lost his voice and this is his way of being artsy about it.
No, if he lost his voice, he wouldn't have been able to do the voice-over.
I recall a commentary he did explaining that the film really was draining for him, and he didn't even find it funny enough to roast as he traditionally does. It was the location of the video that helped, allowing him to express his frustration and finding comedy scenarios at the convention, as opposed to the movie itself
Anybody else besides me want him to review Look Who's Talking?
