Thanks for the great review! Currently using a Flipside AW 400, but really like the capacity of the 450 II. I’m also looking to carry my Mavic Pro, just wondering how much larger it is than the MA?
Thanks for commenting, good to hear the video was helpful. The bag has held up really well since this video. I upgraded to a mavic 2 Pro since making this and its not too much bigger so didn't make much difference to what else I could carry.
I can open the side pockets but with it strapped on my waist I can't access the whole bag. I usually plan my gear to have lenses in the side pockets to switch easily.
How can the side pockets and the top camera extraction pocket be safe? There is not the same security as the rear zip on the back....some attacker "could" get their hands there without us realizing
Its good but lacking the temba rear pockets , iv got 350 and 450 the pocket is not gooc puts pressure on your inner gear, the axis allows huge 150mm filter kit on rear of pack , that put my pro T's in the corner
Good review mate. I carried this 32 miles (35lb) in one day when filming a charity hike and it was pouring down. Can safely report back that the all weather cover kept everything totally dry!
Hi, sorry for taking a while to reply. I kept meaning to measure the laptop compartment. It's around 25cm x 35cm. Not sure how big your 16 inch macbook is but hope this helps you work out whether it'll fit.
I wanted to buy this backpack initially but in quite a lot of reviews people mentioned that the zippers broke after about 1 or 2 years of daily use. IMHO that's unacceptable in terms of quality control.
Seen some used bags with the front all dirty since you have to lay it down that side down to grab gear. Looking at the Manfrotto Manhattan 50 as well, but doesn't have as many pockets and accessories storage space.
I've not had a problem but am careful where I lay my bag. If you really had no choice and had to lay the bag somewhere muddy you could just pull the rain cover over which would be easy to rinse off.
But it's better to have front all dirty than having back of the bag all dirty and then you will have your back dirty when you carry that bag on your back. I much more like this design because it keeps my back cleaner.
Great review. This bags frustrating they go to the trouble of making it back opening for security. Then they go and stick two great big zipped theft openings on each side!. Ironically it makes it easier for a thief to steal your camera than a traditional top zip opening bag!… unfortunately security/anti theft wise totally useless bag!.
When im in a unsecure area i use reusable Black cable binder that i cutted short to secure the side OpenIngs and i put my camera just in the upper quick access pocket :) its impossible so see the cable Binders from far away and if a thief tries, you will Mention imediatly

Great review. Quick question, is the waist strap removable? Cheers, Lee up the great work
Thanks for commenting, glad you enjoyed the review. The waist strap is removable but I've always kept mine on.

Thank you for the review! Can you keep the waist strap on and open up the bag so you don't have to put it on the ground?

Thanks for the overview. Pretty solid review and great detail. Shout out to your wife - that's a nice present!
Thank you, great to hear you enjoyed the review! I'm still really pleased with the bag so my wife did good!
Excellent Review Jamie Vardy

Thanks for that. I'm yet to do a hike that long but off to Iceland in March so that'll be a good test for the bag.
I own the older version. One heavy rain... one dead Nikon D810. Dont trust this raincovers!
@@dasklima5751 So not really all weather then?
Are they coming out with one slightly smaller for a 15 in laptop
I'm only concerned whether it can fit my 16" laptop or not ... Else, I love everything about this bag ...
15.6 slim Laptop would fit
@@johnninofilipino1504 thanks for a reply 😄😄
@@chaitanyatahasildar welcome, I own one. Worth the buy😁
@@johnninofilipino1504 I'll go for it for sure now 😄✌🏼
Good review 👍
Real shame you didn't have the tripod above the bag to provide a more clear view of the inside, couldn't really see how much space there was
Does the backpack standup when loaded or tip over?
Guess it depends how you balance the weight inside. Mine stands up usually but seen other videos where people say it falls over.
Thanks for this review! , 2:35 gave me a heart attack thought it was gonna fall off
Nice review, young man. I use this bag as well. Keep at it.
Thank you! I'm really happy with it so far. It was great on my trip to Iceland earlier this month.
Great review!
Thanks! Great to hear you enjoyed the video.
Can you fit a 16inch macbook pro?
I'm really not sure as I don't have a mac book. Hope someone else looking at the comments can answer this for you.
Does the new version not have a laptop compartment or is your laptop just too big? I have a 15" Mac that fits with ease in the original version
It does have a laptop compartment but my 15.6inch gaming laptop is just too big :( I have been tempted to switch laptop for this reason...
Hi, thanks for the review, i have a 16 inch macbook pro please anyone advise if it can fit inside the bag. thanks a lot.

I've had no problem with the zips after owning it for 18months but I don't use it daily.
Two years of "daily use" before a zipper failure? I think that's more than acceptable durability.
Whats the total weight with all the gears inside? Want to know if it will be overweight (7kg is the limit for my local airline carry-on). Tq!
Nice video & bag....seems to hold loads. I've the baby 350 version which is great but needing more space soon...think might go 450. 👍
It is a superb bag, I've been very happy with it and it was great on my trip to Iceland in March.
note you can get it on aliexpress
Nice bag!

The only negative about this bag is it weighted almost 2.5 kilo empty.
I never carry my laptop in my bag _ it can be fetched at the end of the day we aren't mules
Please tell your wife my birthday is coming up soon...
There is laptop compartment behind the zipper pouches.
