The check valve goes on the Supply line - Check Valve, Firomatic Valve, Fuel Filter, Tigerloop.

Which way do you turn the valve to stop oil flow and which way to have oil flow?

The firematic valve? Turn it to the left and the handle will actually come off. If the oil is still flowing through then it’s stuck open. Push the valve stem down. It’s spring loaded to close. I hope this helps
