Just wanted to add, for 7:00 you can set "Don't initalize controls automatically" in General Settings > Advanced, so you can avoid that issue altogether.
7:00 to 8:05
in the latest FL versions you can just right click on the fader and uncheck "Init song with this position"
I think that is a bit easier
@@editexel you are a Lifesaver! I'll include that in the future!
Next video pliz show us how to remove vocal from mp3 pliz pliz pliz
@@inthemix the thing I said though is a little bit different
if you still want the parameters to initialize when playing the song, which I personally prefer, you can just uncheck "Init song with this position" in the settings of the fader or whatever you have automated after deleting the automation clip
I'm sorry if that information was unnecessary
With videos like these who’s ever gonna need official training?
So true!! Michael is the best teacher you could ask for!
No-one. That's a legit answer. The majority of learning comes from actually "doing" stuff, and videos like these are what enables trying in the first place.
@@nenissaK Agreed. Just do it!. stay hungry boys
@@nenissaK bullensperm. On a profesh level its a whole nother story
I've been alternating between Michael and ChukiBeats. 2 great teachers with totally different production perspectives
A couple more tips:
-Press F12 to close all windows. This is useful for cluttered projects.
- Hold shift and click on anything on the playlist and drag it to create an instant copy
-When using the slice tool use right click instead of left, that will delete the new slice
I didn't know the hint bar tip, Thanks Michael!
WHAT???
F12 will save me 1 year of closing all the windows 😂
Thanks olbaid
@@Abhiplish wow the last one is gold
@@Abhiplish click f5 and it'll put all the things in the background and bring up the playlist
thank god iv been haven't been able to figure out copying sections without having to manually do exactly the same thing again and again
Being a beginner is so tough and overwhelming!
I literally hear the entire song in my head but somehow cant get the instruments to come together and achieve that.
Use reference tracks that are the same genre and style of what your trying to produce. Pay attention to the arrangement, especially the use of fx and automation in the track. Its better to load them into your daw as wav as it requires less cpu to run than mp3. Make sure to adjust their volume to match your track.
Youll be surprised what you can learn from just listening closely. Theyre also useful for mixing / mastering but arrangement is the most important part of music production so as a beginner its best to focus on that.
I have great ideas but when I try to recreate them they sound like shit :D
This is exactly what's happening to me. ugghhhh...
Everyone even people who aren’t beginners have ideas in their heads and then they turn completely different when they try to put them into the daw.
I’d guess that it’s pretty rare anyone gets their idea into the daw perfectly. They probably end up with some semblance of the idea and it turns into something else completely as you use the idea in your head to spark a new idea.
I wouldn’t expect to completely overcome this. Rather just use it to your advantage to generate new ideas.
the automation clip part is like being haunted by a ghost that you thought you finally got rid of
When you said how to delete a automation forever, I almost start crying and clapping. Thank you a lot.
"Don't spend hours and hours, but just ages." Haha.
Great video! First tip is mindblowing.
Make unique (even faster method) ctrl+shift+c
My mind is now blown. Thank you so much!
@@inthemix I´m glad it was useful )
Oh damn, finally some quicker solution. I had no idea
no funtion..;(
I always used the clone function to do that. Thanks mate for the info
