You're welcome! I hope these features are useful. @@Ursvoxcee
One things that I hate on piano roll, I can't figure out how to fix it. But when you go to put in a new note next to another note and all the of sudden, your cursor changes to stretch and you can't put a new note next to the other note.

Been an FL Studio user for 5 years now. I would have never got to where I'm at today, without your tutorials and advice. You are seriously the most informative channel out there. If I owned Image Line, I'd be paying you to make the official FL Studio Tutorials. Living legend, thank you for everything.
Thank you so much! Funnily enough, I did actually work with them to make some videos a few years ago but it took too much away from my own channel and professional work. We created some really cool videos together!
Michael, I just want to say, that without you and your one-of-a-kind channel, I would never be in the place I am today musically. I have been subscribed to you for as long as I can remember, and still am for obvious reasons! It has been awesome to see your channel grow and continue making great, high-quality, educational music production content to this day. Keep it up, man!
This isn't remotely one of a kind lol
One thing that is rarely mentioned is the very well written manual. FL studio has always had a great help file that is always being updated. Includes diagrams and well written descriptions of all the features, and some even include example uses one would overlook or not think of. It is based online now cause its grown with every update, but it can be downloaded as an offline file if wanted. Its great for learning everything FL has to offer
I was just telling my friend about the manual last night. It’s the best tool in FL lol
As a technical writer (day job) who produces music for hobby (and maybe even as a sideline someday), I felt seen and recognized because of this comment. Thank you. 🥹
Also? Some of them are just fun to read, ex. Autogun help file points out that you can't try all the sounds since it would take over a century.
Hey Michael! Wanted to reach out and express thanks for the non-stop excellent FL content. Theres so many subjects that many can't explain simply, and you've managed to strip away every ounce of confusion in the process. Keep killing it and I look forward to reaching out one day for mastering services when I start releasing music 😎
I'm so happy to have helped. Do send me an email when your mix is nearing completion and I can give some feedback before mastering too.
Let me know if there are any other topics you think I've missed or could shine some light on.
The edison recording backup trick is so simple that it's brilliant. definitely my favorite takeaway here
Babe wake up, another Michael video just dropped
Hey Vsauce, Michael here.
Hey, Vsause, Michael here.
Hey sauce, v here michael
Hey, Vsauce, Michael here.
Michael here
Thanks for everything Michael. Your tutorials are very easy to follow and extremely helpful. I find myself re-watching a lot of your uploads right before i start to work. You are undoubtedly the best teacher of FL studios 👍
Hey Michael! The text to Chords feature is really a game changer. I usually start the project with chords on my guitar. This will ease copying them on the piano roll. Thank you. Greetings from Rwanda.
You're the most helpful FL Studio UA-camr ever, everything you say just makes so much sense, been watching you ever since I started my journey
Throughout my career I have often come back to tips and tricks you have posted as they are some of the most easiest, digestible and knowledgeable tutorials for FL Studio there is on here! Thanks for all the hard work you do to help others! Even tho I have been signed to big labels, done quite a bit... you can never learn too much! I still spend no less than 2-4 hrs a week just learning, or watching others produce, or sound design tutorials. It all helps!
Always enjoy your content bro, keep it up!
Love your vids man.
Really useful tips for FL , thanks a lot for your work man , espically the mixing tutorials.
Without your channel , my mixing skills would be very low , keep up the good work 🔥
Thank you so much, Michael. I always look forward to receiving new content from IN THE MIX.

I am a Fl newbie and your videos have helped me so much. I cant thank you enough for taking the time to make these videos.
You’re more than welcome!
Isolating side channels is the discover of the year... Thank you mate!!!
Welcome back omg 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for the video. You have helped me out a lot with your templates as well. :)
Thank you for your info they always help so much🙏😤
One (or two things) that helped me keeping my projects clean and organized is the „purge unused audio Clips“ and „select unused channels“ Option.
I used to get pretty messy in an intense session but those features definitly change it.
Keep the great work up. Just can agree to all these wonderful congratz comments.
Thanks man. That's very useful tips. Peace ✌🏼
You are awsome. Thanks for helping unlock massive creative potential.
Very Informative Mic, Thank you so much for all the tutorials you've made.🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Amazing. Thank you so much for this
Power full tricks thank you sir
damn that audio backup tip is so game changing for me! thanks!
Very nice of you to share this :)
Great tips, thanks for sharing!
Thanks man, very helpful stuff
Man i love this channel
If only every vid that was created in order to educate about audio production was as precise as that quiff and this vid. Good job, Michael. It's undeniable that you're one of the best in your game. I appreciate the lack of reliance on gimmicks and tacky thumbnails.
I use the ultimate version of Reason and I own the comparable versions of Ableton and FL Studio. There's so much more technical potential in the ones that I'm too afraid to explore; it's like a megalophobia. FL Studio seems to be far too complicated for my aging brain... but I'm getting there. I'm getting close to the realisation that Ableton with FL Studio and Reason 12 as VSTs might be the best way to proceed.
Great video man
This is going to help me a lot thank you for another great informative video.
Brilliant tips👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
first time commenting on here: my ABSOLUTE favorite function is the plus symbol on the top left of the arraignment window. left click to open and create a plugin track, right click to record live audio.
that wave candy tip is epic thank you so much
I have the amazing Bitwig, but I watch this beacuse you do things so well. I was in a bind with mastering the other Month. I took a lot from you tutorials on the subject.
Thanks !
Great tips. New fl user so these are super handy to know. :)
thanks for the tips!
Hi Michael
Long time viewer
Thanx for another great FL vid
Hello Michael, I have been following your videos for years but this is the first time (shame on me) that I have posted a comment. Just to report that your videos are always great and clear. Like many others, I have learned a lot about FL Studio over the years thanks to your videos. They are always very educational. Thank you a thousand times for that! Greetings from Belgium.
It's great to hear from you even if it's the first time. I'm glad I could help over the years. Greetings from Scotland!
Your channel is amazing, God bless you.
Thank You Bro🙌🙌for again uploading a very helpful video🔥🔥.
Hello namesake😊 To be honest, I feel quite overwhelmed by all the topics and technical terms one encounters when making music. I also sometimes find it difficult to accept that I can process information at a slower pace. That is (in addition to my limited energy and time) an important reason why I regularly stop producing for a period. But I have to say that thanks to your "down-to-earth" approach, calm way of explaining (and tone 🙂) and the clear expression of your passion for music, you encourage me to take up this hobby again and again. And to embrace every small step in the ongoing learning process.
Therefore, thank you very much for all the explanations you have already given on various themes. Finally, I hope and wish you that you can continue to make music with great passion for many years to come and help others (including through this channel) develop on their musical journey. Kind regards from the Netherlands!
Really cool! I liked the MIDI recording one
Oh My goodness, This is really so helpful
The audio backup is a really good one!
I never thought of that!
Thank God for the Internet and for this exact person that leads this channel
Thanks Mike for this great opportunity for me learn the secrets of FL Studio
5:35 That sounds so sick
You should hear it in the studio sometime :)
one of the greatest to ever do it this guy.
channel rack groups! amazing! Thanks! I've used FL for about 8 years and I wish I'd known that! I've moaned to FL they really should make learning the software easier.
I hope you will continue these series for a long time ♥ much love
That last one is GOLD.
I had no idea the text to chords thing existed. That is so much easier than trying to use those chord stamps in the piano roll.
Thank you Mr Michael for your brilliant work, u hve given me a way in music 🎶 production because of following your channel Shukraan Habibi am from qatar 🇶🇦
Damn that recording last x minutes feature is amazing. This is going to be so useful for me thank you for bringing it to my attention. I love your videos.
I love this man alot
Damn I love the grouping of channel rack its such a great feature
So much I didn't know.... Thank you 🔥
Thank you! 🙏
Amazing!
Your channel is a never ending toolkit for FL Studio - appreciate it mate, thanks. I'd really appreciate a tutorial to stop peak output fluctuations, especially when applying a kick or snare roll pattern. I've tried the cut self function but peaks still change. Also messed around with the envelope settings in the sampler, but can't get levels to stop at the required peak. It's driving me mad!!!
I've bought NewTone a few months ago and i do not regret it, it made me see visually why some of my sounds were off.
Keep going bro 🎧⚡️🙋♂️🎵⚔️
I appreciate you so much man🤲🏾❤️
Thank you!
auto recording midi inputs is gonna benefit me so much. another banger video
Great video :)
I'd love to see some more workflow and recording improvements for those of us who use FL for live instrumentation (guitar, bass, piano, etc). I also really wish FL would fix the hi-hat CC problem where you always have to map it every single time you want to use an electronic drum kit. Still not recognizing the CC info after closing and opening a project the next day, in effect making the hi hats all trigger open. Giant pain in the butt, and I usually use another daw to track drums and then import the stems afterwards. Very clunky. Anyway, you're the best. Thanks so much for the wonderful information you provide to us - even long time (circa 2004) users of FL. Cheers!
Thank you. Simply... thank you.
Keeping Edison recording on the master channel is such a good idea, thank you for this! When you were talking about the "dump to score log" tool, I was thinking, "I wish they had something like that for recorded audio..."
you always the best 💞💞
Thank you!
