Putting reverb on sub bass is good in some cases. Can create atmosphere. Provided you turn the bass knob down and mix it accordingly. Can really help sometimes.
You can do anything to anything (nonone cares) as long as it sounds good. Listeners don’t care what you do but only want a good sounding music that they would like. So it really doesn’t matter at the end of the day. Break the rules, think outside box, do whatever.
Shhhhiiit dude, that WAVE in your hair is absolutely stellar!! I'm about to watch the video but man I gotta pay respects upfront lmao EDIT: Holy smokes, that arp to pad thing was SO DAMN SLICK, goodness dude!!! I've been looking for something like this forever and the fact that you can create such beautiful ambiance so quickly is wonderful. Thank you so much, Michael, you are amazing!
This guy Michael is too too much. Thanks Michael. Every one of your videos is a bomb. You're calm, very teacher-like and soft spoken. Love your tutorials. Thanks again
Continues to be one of the very best FL Studio tutorial channels on UA-cam, Been using the program for a decade and still learn useful info from these videos.
You've become my FL go to 🤣🙌🏽. I've only been using this DAW for 12 months or so, heavier in the past 4-6 months thank you for making videos that are straight to the pont and in-depth when required. Dig your channel and I'm a hip hop producer. Your advice translates well across genres.
I'd been using FL since it was called fruity loops back in 1998 - jumped over to renoise some time around 2007 and have finally come back to FL. Your videos have given me the crash course I've needed on all that's changed and been added since then. Thank you.
Jacob Collier logic breakdowns are super insightful and useful as well, in some similar regards. You will quickly find your time well-spent in absorbing as much as you can from them too. In The Mix has quickly become my favorite youtube channel of this kind however and provides tremendous workflow-improving knowledge, a constructive outlook, and good insights. Well done Michael and thank you for your courage, I’m very grateful to have resources like these videos.
Being able to swiftly copy over an fx chain over to a new channel is something that I have wanted for a long time. Low and behold it’s been there the whole time lol. That pad thing using Edison is simply an amazing thing to do. I will certainly be trying that. Thanks for the videos 👍👏
I really have no words to express how grateful I am for the content you upload. That knowledge has cost you a lot of time and money, and here you are, teaching us for free. I hope that over time you will get more recognition and your followers can donate you often, you deserve it 👏🏻

I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Cheers mate.

8:24 another additional tip from me for the beginners - there is a nice small program called MP3Tag using which you can edit all additional metadata of the songs and add cover art, etc.
I am getting back into producing after a 8 year break and your videos have helped a great deal. Learning all I can while my PC is being built. Thanks so much for all your info! Great channel.
I'm so grateful for your channel. Your tutorials are the best I have ever seen, and I love your personality and your music is awesome. I have recently moved to fl studio due to your videos and the fact that I can watch them whenever I need help. I'm now attempting a career in music production and I would appreciate any support on my channel. :)
You see, a lot of people claim that Fl studio is not a professional daw, that it lacks a lot of features, and the workflow is not consistent enough, yet your videos show that if you know the tricks, Fl is just as useful :)
I ended up selling all of my hardware and am back on FL. I just discovered or rediscovered your channel. Really great, helpful stuff. Keep up the great work!
Just when I thought this channel couldn't get any better..... While I enjoyed the whole video, I think they key part for me is at 5:18. @@kain4573 granular sampling too
Yeah that blur tool just changed the game
Everything was a hidden feature for me until I started watching your tutorials. Cheers.
the most mind blowing "hidden" feature was automation clips, seriously they are a God sent.

Why do I relate to that XD
Dude for real, at first glance FL’s studio is completely incomprehensible
"I put reverb on the sub bass". That was hilarious 🤣
lmao nice
wait yall dont put reverb on the bass?😳
Putting reverb on sub bass is good in some cases. Can create atmosphere. Provided you turn the bass knob down and mix it accordingly. Can really help sometimes.

you can also use patcher and separate low, mid and higher freqs, put reverb on hight frequencies, you will get insan bass
I've.been using FL Studio quite intensively for 10 years, but these insights were superb.
Ditto, been using it since the days when it was called Fruity Loops and still found some really great tips here.
When you turned your arps into a pad you blew my mind completely. You are a genius

I'm hoping this will lead to some unique new atmospheres for the back ground of some spacey stuff.
