I have had my Canon t3I and it works great. True it doesn't bring out the red as good but that can be corrected in pixsight of Adobe photoshop. Great camera with a lot of features
When stabilizing your footage don't apply any % above 5%. Warp Stabilizer can make the entire video jelly because of the rolling shutter effect when moving the camera. And even the pluggin to counter it most of the times won't work. So when in need, apply between 1% and 5% stabilization on premiere/after effects. I use a 600d for professional purposes and it rocks even without magic lantern.

You reminds of a classic Brazilian singer called Supla (you don't look like him, but you reminds me of him). The guy is loved by every single Brazilian for being a kind soul.
I bought a T3i in 2013 with a Sigma 18-250 lens. I still use it today sometimes as an additional camera on a shoot. It’s quite rugged, got dropping in a snowbank, fell off a golf cart with no problems. I will continue to use it.
I bought the 600D in 2013 when I decide to move to digital photography, Now I'm a full frame guy but the 600D equipped with the 24mm pancake lens is a light weight companion for street photography and for every situation where I don't want to carry my full frame equipment.

I actually use a $15 lav microphone called the BOYA BY-M1
the only thing that really ever got in the way for me about this camera and is the reason i upgraded is its poor performance in low light

there are different lenses that are much better than the kit. i'm partial to the 40mm and 50mm
Don`t bother. Use you budget for a good phone camera. It will be miles ahead.
This camera was a stinker back then, now it`s nothing but a door stop and doing poorly.
I also have from 2013 .but it's not worth in 2023 now

It has a flip screen so sure. I mean for vlogging you could get away with a way cheaper used Fujifilm/Canon Compact Point and shoot camera for only $20 or so. So for sure!

I would suggest to pick a t5i instead... Auto AF for vid, touch LCD, slightly better iso, and better burst fire mode.
These are incremental improvements on the almost same camera but makes for a much smarter purchase
got it for 75 with kit lens then purchased some batteries +20 dollars and 10 dollars for an sd card

I had this bastard for a year, shot about 100 photos with it.
An absolute dog of a camera. Why??
Abysmal dynamic range, terrible out of the box colors (brown), sad iso performance.
In short i prefered my phone camera even back in those days, it was a Galaxy S2.
Sold it all, incl. the lenses, went over to sony NEX and now i have sony A7 FF.
I have blacklisted canon from then, never again. It`s terrible, be warned.
