I just one with 2 lense charger and tripod/case for 40. I feel like I did ok.

What would be a modest upgrade in 2024 from a t3i? I have one with a kit lense and a 250 or 300mm IS lense. I saw the r100 around $300 but it doesn't have an optical view finder which is meh for me.

I bought the 600D in 2013 when I decide to move to digital photography, Now I'm a full frame guy but the 600D equipped with the 24mm pancake lens is a light weight companion for street photography and for every situation where I don't want to carry my full frame equipment.

I bought a T3i in 2013 with a Sigma 18-250 lens. I still use it today sometimes as an additional camera on a shoot. It’s quite rugged, got dropping in a snowbank, fell off a golf cart with no problems. I will continue to use it.

What camera did you upgrade to

one of my favorite vintage lenses is the nikon 35-70 kit lens actually, especially put on something full frame. i also have some older pentax lenses that produce really nice bokeh.

You reminds of a classic Brazilian singer called Supla (you don't look like him, but you reminds me of him). The guy is loved by every single Brazilian for being a kind soul.

I had this bastard for a year, shot about 100 photos with it. An absolute dog of a camera. Why?? Abysmal dynamic range, terrible out of the box colors (brown), sad iso performance. In short i prefered my phone camera even back in those days, it was a Galaxy S2. Sold it all, incl. the lenses, went over to sony NEX and now i have sony A7 FF. I have blacklisted canon from then, never again. It`s terrible, be warned.

I would suggest to pick a t5i instead... Auto AF for vid, touch LCD, slightly better iso, and better burst fire mode. These are incremental improvements on the almost same camera but makes for a much smarter purchase

I have had my Canon t3I and it works great. True it doesn't bring out the red as good but that can be corrected in pixsight of Adobe photoshop. Great camera with a lot of features

A suggestion: That super-fast editing style, along with super fast talking, which is very typical among this young generation, actually discourages many people who watch photography, videography and filmmaking videos, and contributed to your low view count here, for many people would tend to click away very fast, after a couple seconds, the way that you edited the start of this video. Even if this video were a UA-cam short, under one minute long, the opening examples should be longer than just a split second if you are wanting to keep people's attention. You have a great speaking voice and camera presence, though, and I just subscribed, my Bro. Cheers

Managed to get one with a 18-135mm f3.5-5.0 for $40 🙏🏾🙌🏾

When stabilizing your footage don't apply any % above 5%. Warp Stabilizer can make the entire video jelly because of the rolling shutter effect when moving the camera. And even the pluggin to counter it most of the times won't work. So when in need, apply between 1% and 5% stabilization on premiere/after effects. I use a 600d for professional purposes and it rocks even without magic lantern.
