- Decided to take out my 13-year old Canon Rebel T3i out again and see if it still rocks. And it still definitely does 🔥

This is scary timing. Just yesterday I was thinking about getting a new lens for my T3i that I still use periodically, wondering if I should just upgrade already, then this video comes out. It does its job so I won't complain.
just remember the gear doesn't matter as much as the user's view, I follow people who use 5x3 wet plate cameras and their photos blow my photos out of the water. The more you use the gear the better your photos get not the more you spend the better they get.
A T2i was my first camera! Coming back to it, with the knowledge and experience I’ve gathered through the years, I realize how great of a camera/tool it is. I used to think it was not as good but in reality it was only as good as I was. And honestly, probably everyone I knew who used one was still a beginner so I most likely never saw the full potential of these cameras on the hands of people who actually knew what they were doing haha.
Lovely piece of kit
I had a T5i -- I sold it and wish I hadn't. Seems like the T3i has a special place in a lot of people's hearts.
It totally does,. T5i is still legendary 🔥
Legendary camera! Still perfectly capable of amazing photos, we just got too used to 4K video now...
I’m late to this but I have been following Mia since 2016, and she genuinely inspired me to get my own DSLR during my first year in college. A Canon Rebel T5i. I don’t have it anymore but that camera gave me my start into photography and videography. Almost 7 years later and there are still so many projects and ideas I want to execute, and its so great to see this from Mia, a true inspiration!
ohhh my gosh this has to be one of my favorite comments i've seen here. I'm soo glad! The Canon rebel t3i rocks, so do all the other rebels and are truly one of the best cameras to begin seriously shooting more photo/videos. Thank you so much for still supporting me here it means so much!! ❤❤
an era fr
you already knowww 😭
we also did a giveaway on our last UA-cam video....👀
Anddddd the giveaway winner for a 35mm Long Weekend Film Camera isssssss ..... 🥁 @TonyTheeAviator 🎉 congrats! we'll send you a pm :)
I’ve never won anything in my life 😂 thank you!! 🎉
WOOHOO!!! Do you have twitter? We gotta connect! @@TonyTheeAviator
I still use Magic Lantern on a T2i and a 60D.
Love it!
Ok now I feel old 😅 550D/ T2i here 🤚 might have to dig it out!
Time to do it! I challenge you to try and shoot with it again 😳👀
I’m a smartphone shooter was gifted this camera about two weeks ago. I love the softness of the output as opposed to the harshness of the iPhone. I’m learning all about lens’ and aperture now. But I do have a trick for you. You can film in 1080 at 24 frames and then slow it down to 60 using an AI powered editor to fill in the frames and smooth it out. Works like a charm
Yeah! I love my first rebel and all the good memories that other pro cameras can’t replace
I still have my T3i in great condition 9.5/10 with the sigma macro 18-50mm 2.8 😅 but didn't turn on for years probably before pandemic was last time😂
I shot with the T3i when I got into my film classes back in college so technically it was my first camera too. Watching this brings back memories for sure.
no way!! How fun. So happy it brought back some memories for you as well 🥹
And now beginners agonize over whether their first camera is “Netflix approved.”
I recently bought T3i today, not for blogging but this kind of style
So nice to be able to revive an old camera 💚and maybe pass it along to someone else
Absolutely! I let my little sister also start with this camera. We all still love it 🤓
This video is my new favourite thing 👏🏽
Thank YOU 🫶🏽
Still using my T3i as my main camera! The thing never disappointed me
I just did a trip with my Nikon D3 with even less megapixels and got some of my favorite shots ever. It was also more fun to shoot than my modern Sony
Okay it's the lens 💀 DANG!
Yes do more this kind of stuff ❤
I would absolutely be honored to.
the gear matters less than everyone thinks, it depends on your intentions and views, I follow a couple people who do wet plate photography which was the way we photographed in the masses from 1850 to the mid-1920s and their photos make my photos look like childs play.
I use a T3 as my camera and its about to hit 100k so I am doing my research for another camera if this one kicks the bucket which looks like it will, it crashes if I fill the buffer and gives me SD card issues if it's humid.
hey, thanks for your video! what camera did you use to make this video (outside the T3i)? i love the vibe :)
Thanks so much!:) I used a Sony fx3 as a primary camera
check it out here! -> www.shopmoment.com/search?q=sony%20fx3
Still looks great!
The t3i still holds today haha it looks pretty good overall 📷 I wish I knew what I know now back then on this camera. But this video did that for me already and I’m glad I saw it (:
Same here! Learned all the basics on that camera but only got a whole lot better over time. Thanks for watching and glad you liked it! 😁
the camera that started it all for me
It was one of the best cameras of its time.... i still love it. Thank you for watching Patrick, you rock :D
I still have the T3i as a second camera just in case
So cool
Its an excellent lil camera 📸
There have been a few blockbuster cameras that moved the still camera body style into a true filmmaking piece of gear - I'm thinking of not only the Canon T2i but also the Canon 5Dd Mark II. Here's a question - which modern Canon camera available today would be the equivalent to the T2i - in other words, which entry level model with features that you'd normally expect to see in much more expensive camera bodies?
My favourite camera 😮❤
mine toooo
Awsome kamera
Yall in Morro Bay!! Dems my stomping. Slo life!
My family is from the central coast!! Gotta represent my home grounds haha
The T3i launched a lot of filmmakers’ careers. You forgot to mention no autofocus in video mode. You really had to understand depth of field
Totally where i started too
T2i fam, where you at?!
The t2i was an OG
my first camera was a Praktica LTL3 in 1990
Love it 🥹
Magic lantern this though.
Nv, you mentioned it. lol
You already knoww!! couldn't leave out magic lantern 😉
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!! Had so much fun with this one 🤓📹
Still hands down one of my favorite cameras ever. What do you guys think?!
DANG.. made me miss my t3i!
I sold my 8 year old Sony a6000 recently. I had so much emotional attachment with the camera that I ended up crying while selling it 😢
it also has such a beautiful place in my heart 🥺
The kitchen does not make the cook.
mia is the goat fr
Much love thank you Linus 🫡 you a real 1 fr
Is this a good camera to use to for UA-cam vlogging or to record videos?
watching this makes me kind of emotional, you're immensely talented!! I can't wait to be like that one of these days omg. And yes, Magic Lantern was so good, it's kinda sad the project is a bit dead for the new cameras... :(
this means a ton! thank you so much!
make a video with a vx1000 lol
Dude. So down.
Man you were lucky, I had the T2i not the 3! (and I made a sort of living from it too!)
T2i was also such a great one!
So fun!!
how did UA-cam knew what camera I had??? I was holding my Rebel t3i.. and then I just saw this video popped up in my recommendation... something's very fishy here
no way 🤣
great video though love it! makes me want to stick with my camera for much longer. thank you so much for this, much love❤😂😂
