I totally agree with you about companies messing with color or finish or whatever. If you have a cult classic, leave it alone! I suspect the new Brulee will work better for my eyes, but having not even known about the taupe, I wish they’d left it alone. If there is a matte dupe, please LMK because I prefer mattes. In fact, the reason I’ve yet to try the Silent Treatment trio, which I want for the taupe, is because it’s a shimmer. I hadn’t heard about the formulation change and don’t use a lot of Wet n Wild because I can’t really find much of it in Portland, but great video nonetheless.
I had actually made the BOLD statement re: Nutty that it was the closest shadow shade to Armani Eye Tint in Cold Copper that I've found. Cold Copper is holy grail status for me...I'm a broken record talking about that product! And for a low end product to be a close dupe is AMAZING! I'm so disappointed that the new formula isn't that same gorgeous taupe shade! This was a great video Emily. Thank you!

I haven't indulged in wet n wild for a while but know their shadows are really good. Especially for travel as they're compact and affordable. I need to check these out since they have changed some formulas as you mentioned, but they do have some nice gems.

I kind of wish they kept the singles the same especially brûlée and nutty but what can you... That green in the brand new quad looks gorgeous though!!! I'm obsessed with that color!! Hope you do a look using it! :)
Hi Emily. Super helpful video. Question for you. On the new comfort zone palette, is the brown with green duo chrome color the same as the old one? Its called 'define' on the bottom right row on the old palette. I couldn't really tell in the swatch. Thanks, I love that color.

Nooooo that was exactly what wasn't suppose to happen. Another fave, Wetn Wild single in Brule is changed into something with pink/red undertone. Must everything neutral turn into that? Its like the same movement as with foundations; More and more of the palest shades are transformed from having neutral/yellowy undertones to being pink - very pink in some cases. And I was so afraid of it going from creamy smooth to powdery and THATs exactly whats happening.

Even now when I️ see them I️ will grab one or 2 of each 😆. I too am obsessed with the color Nutty, there is just something about it. However, I have never seen the dark green color in any of my stores. I will have to grab some black colors next time. I cannot wait to get that blue color! Also, those new quads! I am more excited about this video than any high end makeup that I have seen lately...I just loved the video thank you so much. 😘

I bought the Roses in the Air, And Nude Awakening.The Roses in the Air was too Clubbing out for me too bright, But Nude Awakening was my Favorite so far,I like warm color I have Hazel Eyes, Color select is touchy for errands and running around. I remember their original nude awakening palettes and remembered being pretty impressed(perhaps you can compare them?) so idk how I feel about the new reformulation. Thats a big shame that they changed the formula on the eyelid shades and singles. :( I'm still waiting on a palette that looks like the old Lust Palette. But They NAILED the new silver chrome brush set.
I don't really get why they would change something that's already good instead of just expanding the range! But I guess it doesn't really matter because all those products will probably never get to Spanish stores :((

Is the eyelid shade in the quads much less creamy than in the trios? The only reason I bought the trios was the creaminess, i didn't mind the lack of the crease shade since I depotted them anyways and put it in my z palette with crease shades. If I lose the creaminess I better stock up on the old versions

Jennifer Moras The bigger palettes are still available from their website and they are having a sale. Comfort Zone and the Petals one (forget exact name) are both in a kit so beautiful! I have them and bought backups. Can’t wait for these new ones! I’ll be getting the bigger palettes, I have the old small trios all beautiful! I love their blushes and matte lipsticks too. Eyeliners and highlighters! The mascaras not so great don’t smudge but don’t make much don’t make much difference. I have not tried their foundation. I’m impressed with Essence Princess mascaras those turned out great! But really ❤️ WetnWild. :)

Anyone know where in Ireland, or online Europe, you can get Wet n Wild now? It seems to have disappeared from a lot of the shops over here.

They're overall still super good! I'm just a bit salty over certain changes, especially Nutty and Silent Treatment :P

I think Not a Basic Peach colors are not exactly, but sort of a dupe and are VERY similar to the limited edition $48.00 Natasha Denona Aeris palette
Thr last palette reminds me if the Natasha Denona holiday palettes for 2017, that blue is so strikingly similar
