What about if I mark memory cut in iPhone Rekordbox app or Mac Rekordbox . can XDJ-RX load all of them or just can load 4 hot cues?

It’s weird i used to play songs through the relordbox app on iphone, but instead of selecting REkordbox i was using USB 1 or USB 2 depending on which port i plugged tje phone. But after the new IOS11 update, it’s not connecting anymore, its weird

TheDJShop.TVOfficial can you search for tracks via the rekorbox app on the mobile device? i know the xdj-rx doesnt have a search function
I have the XDJ-XZ. Do you know if this works by connecting the iPhone or iPad to the USB type B port on the back….and if that will also charge the iPhone at the same time

Just got the RX and I’m trying to connect rekordbox via my iPhone or iPad as per the video but they’re just not being picked up by the controller. When I select connect to XDJ on the app, it tells me to connect via Ethernet and mobile device over the WiFi 🤯.
Can anybody help?

Doesn’t work in the same way with xdj rr coz I tried and always ask me for Ethernet connection or something like that, do we need any special cable?

+Agent Carbunkle You can only do wifi with a laptop running rekordbox. Also the XDJ must be connected to a wireless router by LAN cable, as there is no wifi antenna in the unit.
Thanks i think i have an idea of how to link to my down stairs router now to it, I'll try and use a power line ethernet adaptor
+Agent Carbunkle fine for messing about and practicing on, but wouldnt trust it even for a house party really. Routers reboot themselves, etc. Its a great feature/gimmick, but I would go with a physical connection over wired any day of the week, especially if you playing large lossless files. If others are using the router, streaming/downloading whatever, that may effect the transfer speed between wireless source and router and the RX may try to read data faster than the router can keep up, especially if you want to search ahead in the track for example!!

Rekordbox won't support any of the latest android version. I tried for months to no avail.

I own the XDJ-RX and love it, but this is a bit of crappy feature really if you are unable to use the screen and encoder on the unit to select tracks. I have a 64gb USB3 stick as my keychain, so I am never without music should I ever find myself near CDJ900s/2000s (networked of course), or another RX. :-)
