Just WOW. Quite surprised and if I can get this creek dialed in and find the right layer, I could be on some really hot gold from this ancient beach deposit.

Hey Kris, thanks for watching and dropping a comment. From all my years of research I believe it’s true. Mainly because of the platinum mix involved. It’s identical to my beach gold. What I really think is that there is a very large black sand deposit above the creek leaching down. So I’ll be doing some exploratory stuff soon.

I could just see a trout run up your slews box. I have a creek that size in my back yard in 06 steelhead ran up it, they haven't did it again it was a freak thing.

Thanks man, I’ve been searching for inland beach deposits for years now and I’m finally on the edge of one. I believe the main deposit is up the mountain and leaching down into the creek. There are huge black sand deposits under the forest floor somewhere near that the old timers mined and did quite well. But they didn’t find all of them!

We went camping at Quartsville weekend before last and i got a decent amount of fine gold but not like what you got. We are going camping there again this weekend for Easter so the kids can look for eggs in the woods instead of our tiny apartment 😅. We went camping during Easter a couple times when i was a kid and i loved it
This is an absolute game changer for several reasons. First off i’ve been searching for the ancient beach deposits for years now and I think I’m finally on the edge of one or have sign of it. Leeching from high up into this creek. This is definitely beach gold no doubt secondly, it’s much closer to home only a 20 minute drive, and finally this is a Winter Creek so no matter how high the water runs I can work it pretty much around. If I am persistent enough with a little bit of luck, I will find thick, black sands somewhere in these foothills, which is the true center of this deposit.
I can't find it now but here on YT there is a video about a blue clay mine here in Southern Oregon. Forget the details but it had really good gold. Can't remember if it was above it, in it, below it, or how it was associated with the blue clay. Some of that clay looks greyish blue. It was a pretty big mine for just a few people. Enjoyed this video!

Super interesting niche, and the nature is beautiful at the spot in this video with the moss on the tree trunks and whatnot.. There's is ONE thing tho that I think you could improve on. The video quality could be a tad bit better.
It’s pretty amazing in there and I’m so glad I found some decent color to keep me interested because I thought that might be my last trip but now I have a lot more exploring to do. Better yet, it’s a winter creek and I’m fairly certain it’s probably just a trickle in the summer.

Oh and wouldn't hurt to follow the quartz upstream and possibly uphill at somepoint, May find the load source. Then claim it if you can.
