But it is really cool to listen to Christian explain the various tech developments they’re putting in their cars. It’s a great day to be a Koenigsegg fan!

They're doing things the big companies can't (or just aren't) with less, and they're blowing it out of the water. Combine with the insane openness about their process, the singular visions, and forward looking aesthetics, they're just unique.
James, I can see the hamster on the wheel turning in your head when Christian was talking about the mid-engine driving the front wheels and the 2 batteries in the rear driving the rears 😂. So many good quotes in this video “normally robotizes with the skin”, got to love it!!! Loved your intro B clips, it encapsulates the channels essence!!! Next level stuff!!!
It's nice that Christian is so low key about their achievements, but at the same time super proud and pleased, and also so playfully happy about it all. It is also amazing what they manage to come up with at the company, outside this tiny town of Ängelholm far up in in the north of Europe (e.g. further north than any state in the USA except for Alaska). It makes me happy to watch!
The company's success might seem 'overnight' to some, but Christian has been working on this for around 30 years now. The engineering brilliance in Koenigsegg cannot be overstated. Brilliant company. Well earned success.

Such an interesting machine. That 3 cylinder just sounds a little weird. Perhaps it sounds better at 8000 rpm. Granted, it’s early so that could change a lot between now and production. But it is really cool to listen to Christian explain the various tech developments they’re putting in their cars. It’s a great day to be a Koenigsegg fan!
Yeah, it kinda sounds like a truck lol. But otherwise I agree, it is interesting!
@@SmOgER10 Thought of a tractor while Christian was driving it tbh lol
He Did say they havent fine tuned the exhaust yet but yeah, totally bizzare , almost clattering like a diesel truck...not very pleasnat to the ear, thats for sure... the gt3rs has nothing to worry about in that dept
At 4k RPM it sounds like a VW Up lol. Amazing car nonetheless. Christian is my absolute favorite figure in the automotive industry at the moment. Seems like a very genuine dude
If you love a 3 cylinder motorcycle you would appreciate it.
I was never a fan of Koenigsegg but watching Christian talk so passionately about the car has made me fall in love with it!
Best car company ever! Great people who make the greatest technology and even better cars!
You know this guy is cool when he uses “explosives” to open the doors on his cars. his passion and ingenuity is amazing. Love this guy.
What a privilege to see this astonishing piece of engineering coming to fruition. There is no doubt that this is going to be the car that the uber rich want...hats off to Christian for his vision and drive to keep pushing the boundaries of automotive development. Thanks, James, for taking us behind the scenes.
I have been waiting so long to hear this beauty. Thank you for sharing this!
That may be the coolest car yet. It having the ability to have 4 passengers is amazing.
Christian is a really good guy you can tell he loves what he does and loves answering questions about cars he doesn’t seem like he’s one of those that is like yeah here is the car and the states and feel like Christian would be a good guy to be around
Can't wait to see your spec choice!
Got some ideas now I’ve spent more time with it!
@@MrJWW you did a great job on the original paint design on the Porsche. I don't know if Koenigsegg will offer that option or how much it would cost but it would be unique!
Awesome dash! I love that it follows the wheel and that the readout tilts and stays upright.
FINALLY get to hear what it sounds like
It sounds like a lawnmower
sound pretty bad... ill bet they fine tune the exhaust for a Much better sound come production...they couldnt possibly expect people to get excited about the current exhaust note
This company is going to grow exponentially. They are the best innovators in the business by far.
1700 BHP, but we probably won’t stop there. Christian you are a legend👌
Good call the 2300 HP one just got announced
Hejjja Sverige och Christian von Koeingsegg och hans team! Jag är djupt imponerad, och glad över att vara såväl skåning som svensk!
Everything that Christian says is mind blowingly fantastic. What a company!
I love how transparent they are. So classy
Just incredible to watch the passion of Christian! As a auto technician myself I would love to work on these cars!
He seems so cool and personable, I think so many people who are almost genius level have a lack of social skills but he’s funny and casual and also so knowledgeable.
How can anyone dislike Christian, what a legend!
Can't afford one, but just his down to earth mannerisms, humbleness make me want one even more. Good things do happen to good people.
Compared to the "big name" automotive UA-camrs your subscriber amount is relatively small (if you can call 685K small lol) yet you still manage to put out some of the best content and get access to some of the best things. Keep up the good work!!
He is a Gemera customer too. He paid for the car
It's weird that out of every Koenigsegg model developed, the Gemera is the one that I am most excited about. I guess it's because it is a more practical hypercar, even if I'm 24 and can't afford it.
Also them fkng doors!
Christian's face when the valvetrain starts rattling like a diesel 15:20 🤣
once again, Koenigsegg is creating a new classification of car. They have transcended the hyper car and are truly in the realm of science fiction. Absolutely incredible
Haven’t seen Christian so alive. God bless him and his journey!!!
So many good things to like about this and about Christian, but the fact that his company are at the very forefront of innovation and still willing to be so collaborative and generous with their learning and technology to other manufacturers is quite something. He’s a leader in his field and it’s awesome of him to invest his time taking us on the journey. Kodus James…. Class leading content as is so often the case these days. Looking forward to the next instalment
Love the Mitsubishi Evo on the guys computer background 🤣🤣🤣
Same 🤣
This gotta be the third time I watched this video u don’t just c ceo,s get into d car and explain each and every detail I really love this man CVK he is special one of a kind and I pray God keeps him for us🫶🏾
James... you're hanging out in a Gemera with Christian driving you around, you absolute boss! Thank you for bringing this to us! =)
Koenigsegg is easily the most amazing car company around at the moment. The attention to detail, constant striving for perfection, leaps and bounds in advancements.
0:42 sounds like an aggressive lawnmower 😂
The company's success might seem 'overnight' to some, but Christian has been working on this for around 30 years now. The engineering brilliance in Koenigsegg cannot be overstated. Brilliant company. Well earned success.
I don't think anyone believes it happened overnight
Imagine working over there, would be amazing!!!!
the screen on the steering wheel adjusts as you spin the wheel. I don't know if this is typical to Koenigsegg cars, but an incredible touch and attention to details.
Just take a minute to digest what is happening here…… the founder …. Owner of the most innovative car company is opening the prototype for the world to see
And the way he can talk and tell ….. amazing!
Pretty special day!
I fell in love with the exterior styling the first time I saw the grey prototype. Then to find out all the innovative technology and the fact that it can carry four people and their luggage…!!…Icing on the cake as they say.
Thanks for sharing…
