Why does it not work with 5Ghz? I live in a hotel and they newly changed to 5Ghz and my airplay doesn’t work any more. I tried updating and restarting everything but it just won’t connect successfully. Any tipps for me?

How to change the dns server? And how to have a 2.4ghz? My spectrum wifi only has one wifi and i think its 5ghz

1. Turn off airplay from the tv.
2. Turn the tv off.
3. Turn the tv back on.
4. Turn on the airplay again.

I have a SOLUTION that worked for me! For months this issue has stopped me using airplay on my iPhone and Samsung TV. I tried so many videos and nothing worked.
Then I tried something very simple. I disabled Wi-Fi on my iPhone. Then I enabled it again…. Voila. Screen mirroring worked!
Sometimes I’ll go back to airplay something and it doesn’t work again. Which is when I just disable Wi-Fi again then knock it back on. Which has solved this frustrating problem for me. I really hope it works for you.

Still not working for me either. I tried everything I could find online, it gets stuck on loading. Used to work fine a few weeks ago but all of a sudden nothing worked. I don't have regular cable, I only have internet cable and it's the only way I can watch TV. Now I can't watch anything.

@@charlesgordon5156 I use Apple as well. I’ve been in contact with them and we tried a bunch of things. So I can airplay my music it’s just videos that don’t work for some reason, so it’s probably my Samsung tv but Samsung never responded.
@@Alias0524 airplay still isn’t working for me with free online content, but I can stream bought content. Screen mirroring works but it’s not the best playback experience, but at least it works. Hope that helps

I don’t have an airplay option on my samsung TV! It used to work automatically before a few weeks ago, I had option to play my iPhone into TV, gave me choice of my two TVs but now it’s not recognized and I’ve tried everything.

I’m suspecting that the problem might lie with Samsung, as my cordless headphones that worked with it fine for years stopped working at the same time. I cannot get a sound out of them while a video is playing.
my tv does not have airplay settings but is also updated to the latest version and it’s samsung series 5
My airplay works fine for 5 minutes but the quality slowly gets bad and then the video eventually stops altogether, nothing working
I think my problem is on the Mac side. As soon as I turn on the airplay from the settings clicking on my tv's name it automatically turns back off by itself. I tried all I could do on the tv but still not working.
Had to reset. Both.

If it still doesent work on your MAC, its because you are using an older version of mac OS. You need macOS 10.14 or higher to have compability with AIRPLAY 2 wich samsung TV´s have.

I tried everything that was said in this video already (earlier today) and it still doesn’t work. I used to be able to Airplay on this tv when we had it in the kitchen at our old apartment, but since moved I haven’t been able to. What makes matters worse is that we have a slow ass internet and my dad doesn’t want to switch. To clarify, my iPad originally showed just our living room tv (Samsung 60”) and not my tv (Samsung 50”) and now it doesn’t show anything. Also, I was in the bathroom doing my business one time and watching something on my phone at the same time and I set it down to wash my hands and out of nowhere it was trying to Airplay to our living room tv without me even touching it. At this point, I’m probably gonna just go out and buy a new tv or something since this one doesn’t wanna airplay anymore.

This is a iPhone issue. I never had problems til I got this shitty iPhone. And it’s a pain in the ass dropping you tube to my tv from my phone too. It’s always something. I can click mirror but no devices come up
