The incredible physicality of both Carl and Howie (both were so young back then), never fails to amaze me....particularly Carl, how high he gets on his jumps always...most memorably as a member of the "three haircuts", where he practically jumps through the roof!:)
this is typical of the actual show which had many top variety acts, a quality team of dancers all mixed with lots of comedy. Not the juggler at 6:56 doing one of the most difficult of all juggling sequences...ON LIVE TV. Wow.
Great stuff! I absolutely love Sid & Carl & Howie --- and I've read quite a bit about all of 'em. But I try to forget all that & just laugh at their antics, such as here, which are priceless!! (This actually reminds a great deal of SCTV -- I could so have seen them doing a skit w/ dorky guys tryin' to be ballerinas, LOL . . . .)
OMG! I laughed so hard: I am laughing so hard...Another prize to play late at night, over and over along with "This is Your Story"! I am so happy I discovered this! Say, the little fella is Ernest T. from Andy G.!
Howard "Howie" Morris, who gained his fame on Sid's TV show, well before Andy's TV show. Howie went on to do commercial advertising work and was quite famous for his humorous TV commercials. McDonald's was one of his biggest customers.

The routine that Carl did in the 3 haircuts was extremely difficult to do I got winded just watching him.

If W. C. Fields just lived about 10 - 12 years longer he would've done some juggling acts for them!
