For those people saying “wit had more time to animate and mappa had less than a year” wit is a much smaller studio well less people animating so obviously they’re gonna be given more time to animate aot
thats the thing. They higher freelancers since the studio JUST began to create aot (they only started becuz isayama was friends to the creators of the studio, who then planned to create wit.) so they got a hell of a ton of support. Mappa was not only animating like 3 other really great anime, it had low deadlines meaning they had to cut the schedule and go in Crunch mode, get sidetracked by other anime and make sure they can still make aot, and for this reason they use CGI. As shown is season 4 2nd half, they personally CHOSE TO USE CGI to save time and make sure they can reach the deadline.
@@mrsparks926 MAPPA has multiple separate teams for animating shows, so the fact that they were animating other shows is irrelevant because AOT's team was only focused on AOT

That studio is not big enough to be working on all the projects that they are working on.
That escene on the last episode of levi and mikasa was actually produced by arifumi amai, a former WIT producer, people in mappa were good wit the character desing but not even having the time when they split the final in 2 parts they got scenes this fluent, it was never about time tbh, even so mappa did great job but wit was on another level

The thing that disturbs me is the fact WIT studio is the one that slowly builds AOT franchise. They have amazing director, animation and have put alot of money until they almost become broke. When they sell AOT at its peak to MAPPA, its MAPPA that got all the hype and gain money even the animation is subpar. When said that MAPPA animation is just alright, they start to nitpick WIT’s colossal titan and CGI which is just like 2% of the whole animation.
people don't get why the colossal was CGI'ed for season 2. This is because, in future, they will CGI'ed the rumbling scene which MAPPA exactly using the CGI'ed version of colossal titan.
I don't know why people cope that MAPPA is fine, MAPPA's best was WIT's average and WIT's worst was NEVER as bad as MAPPA's worst. MAPPA did AOT dirty, blame the people uptop and not the animators, sure, of course, but that's how it is. What most people realized is that WIT had so much more time and experience from years on animating AOT while MAPPA only had a fraction on time and they had to create new look for characters and titans for the time skip. The WIT ODM scenes looks like it's from 2030 while MAPPA's 4th season scenes looks like it is from 2010. MAPPA doesn't do many of these scenes probably because they can't do it with the same quality we got in basically every single ODM scenes during the 1-3 seasons (and there are a lot of them). Season 4 is said to be suitable for a dark atmosphere, but the aot shown by the wit studio is a "cruel but beautiful world." Wit Studio makes you feel different by showing beautiful sky and nature in a scary and cruel world. Since aot is a dark content, it seems more vivid and realistic to express a bright atmosphere. And Mapa's character design is said to be similar to the original work, but is it necessary to draw it similarly? Even though there are better designs? They higher freelancers since the studio JUST began to create aot (they only started becuz isayama was friends to the creators of the studio, who then planned to create wit.) so they got a hell of a ton of support. Mappa was not only animating like 3 other really great anime, it had low deadlines meaning they had to cut the schedule and go in Crunch mode, get sidetracked by other anime and make sure they can still make aot, and for this reason they use CGI. As shown is season 4 2nd half, they personally CHOSE TO USE CGI to save time and make sure they can reach the deadline.

Mapa is a major company and not an incompetent studio. Mapa just didn't invest in aot. In addition to this, the camera angle, OST, battle scene, directing skills, and expressing emotions on the characters' faces are all disappointing. Especially, the symbol of aot, 3d manever gear... It was really unfortunate. I don't know why Mapa made Season 4.

Mappa may have had much less time, but I would be willing to give WIT more months to do the last seasons if they would make it so spectacular. ESPECIALLY, think of what kind of God Tier animation WIT would have made for the FINAL SEASON and climax of the show. Mappa did good with their timeframe but now we'll never get to see WIT make an AOT finisher which would've been God tier/
Te equivocas, wit estudio literalmente uso mucho CGI y además cago varias escenas y no le fue fiel al manga

Mappa literally took Aot with 7 other projects in their hands. Really shows how little they care about the anime(no hate to the animators they are doing their best).
AoT is a very popular anime. even if Mappa didn't took it. some years later some studio will take it.
And they surely don't care about overworking their staff.

I wish mappa and wit studio " work together" for animating AOT then this would have been the best thing every created.
They technically did in this final chapter.
@@thomasmaroney1892 They did not, it was just the freelancer/animators those who are willing to work for every studio.
It's not fair comparing someone's best work against someone's worst
Attack on titan is the best project a studio can get. They cannot afford to ruin such a big thing. MAPPA had to give their best not the worst. But they improved part 2 a lot. But yeah, it's still no match for WIT
Fr like this is the worst shot of the season compared to the best shot of the show, no comparison💀
Honestly with the time they had and the poor work conditions, MAPPA animators did a splendid job, final season part 2 had some incredible upgrade and i'm grateful that we are getting to see the end of AOT animated, we don't have the animation WIT had but we still have something, and if y'all are gonna whine like babies cuz they used CGI for some scene due to the little time they had then just don't watch it 😁 why are you still watching something you don't like?

@@noyuzu so your telling me the last season was terrible?
hell yea majority of aot not from mappa but from ishayama to the final season made it bad such as a mid ending to the greatest show, theres also a scene which I cant believe someone from the producer mappa let by. Levi 1v1 a jaw titan clone, which is totally normal but the thing is, he wasn't flying or grabbing on to something, he started swinging his sword midair and deflecting the titan claw like gojo vs sukuna @@reactionare
Hey man it’s hard to improve on perfection: and that’s exactly what Levi’s fight against Kenny was
When MAPPA took over the only character who didn't look weird to me was Reiner, everyone else had completely different faces 🤣
Well, if you read the manga, that's how they looks like-
This scene happens after a time skip, of course they would look different...This is exactly how they look in the manga too
@@remii4729 The manga looks so bad. I don't get why that is supposed to be a good counterpoint.
For the wit studo i feel hype when i watch it
MAPPA's character desing is so good but WIT's animation is god tier.
WIT, you have balls to undertake a One Piece anime remake. Good luck
They finally gon give the anime the justice it deserves💯
Let’s just be happy wit animated the first 3 seasons and did a damn near perfect job. Thanks to wit this anime has top 10 potential and will be remembered forever. I truly don’t like mappas style but at least I can always watch the old AOT.
No Studio's are perfect
Wit - Didn't get enough Money
Mappa - Didn't get enough Time
those were the hard facts and the reason behind everything what happen
Its not any studio's fault, we got 3d odm gear sequence from mappa is cuz that stoopid manga con wants to make everything as fast as possible, or cuz wit make the stoopid desicion to make aot s3 a split core
You act like mappa were forced to get the job Mappa knew there wasn't enough time and the result would look like bullshit but mappa didn't care and looked at the money he would make, I wish Mappa hadn't accepted

Granted, you picked the best animated in all of AOT and compared it to when Mappa used 3D
Remember what they took from you
We literally got this back in the finale, Arifumi Imai did a cut for MAPPA
Lol if Mappa had more time we could have gotten jujutsu Kaisen level of quality art and animation. We could have gotten one last amazing Levi scene in the forest vs all those titans before he gets blown to bits.
But we didn’t got it so wit>mappa
@@primitivling4410 well that's obvious I'm not debating that lol. But the second half of the final season is looking better so far.
Mappa fanboys always talk about "if mappa had more time". Even wit studio who made until 3 season of aot doesnt want to take the Project in a short time. I'd still give a big respect to wit studio who cares about the quality and their staff.
@@rifkiharahap7888 exactly , they just care about money

they could've just did a collab with mappa and wit, wit does the intense animation, mappa does the quality of the animation
fun fact the levi scene took 3 months to make
Bro id rather have waited 2000 years for wit to animate than mappa rushing and doing a poor job.
Me too man, I'll never get over it. I can't stand Mappa's style for AoT. WIT is just superior. The colors, the fluidity of the animation, everything in general is better. With Mappa, everything is blurry and clunky. All the characters have the same face with weird nose and a chubby lip + a lot of shadow lines. Eren is sometimes unrecognizable, super weird proportions.
