In the end when Ghandi was ill (he had multiple problems like being shot in the past and also the way he lived in diet wasn't helpful) he had no problem in getting the best from around the world. Not only to get the Pain away but wanted actual treatment to get.

The lower castes and the poor class tend to be more misogynistic than the upper. People always try act like all their misery is due to someone else and they are not responsible for any difficulty, inconvenience or suffering in their life. Also Indian caste system is an occupation based division. The white promoted color based casteism wherever they went.

Fun Fact : Right and Left Wingers in India respect Gandhi even less than people all around the world, He was too moderate and "in bed" with the British. Just like his stance on Africans, he kept mum when more violent and popular leaders of both the Left and Right were being executed and worse, his ideology brought India it's worst most humiliating defeat even after his death (1962 Indo-China War; Non-Violence just doesn't work in a Nuclear World). And I know I will be bashed in the comments for this, but upon more thoughtful inspection, most Indians will agree with me.

Indian here. There's a lot of bad things that can be said about Gandhi. His non-violence, "ahimsa" wasn't even that effective when looking at the Indian cause. Clement Attlee, the sucessor to Churchill who granted India independence himself stated that Gandhi was "ineffective". Turns out Gandhi's "Quit India" movement wasn't even the main reason why the British left India, it was the Japanese collaborationist army formed under Subhas Chandra Bose. Bose had apparently died in 1945 but his soldiers hadn't, and their trial led to the Royal Indian Naval Mutiny- which shook British India quite badly. Attlee stated in an interview that the RIN Mutiny and Bose were actually the main reason they granted India independence lmfao. Gandhi's non-violence was incredibly ineffective when looking at peoples oppressed for years under the yoke of colonialism. What actually made him think that his non violence would free India from years of occupation? The Indian national identity itself was hard to forge, as India consisted of numerous peoples, religions and cultures. Obtaining freedom would have been even harder.
Besides that, I'm glad you brought the whole Gandhi being a weird pervert part, as it is something many Indians go over, and that incredibly annoys me. I myself do not like Gandhi due to his ineffectiveness when fighting British imperialism- when small revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh did better, or Bose who managed to create an entire army- and the whole "celibacy" part.
I sincerely hope that the Indian people will soon realise that Gandhi is not the great man many know and love, he is no "Mahatma". Thank you for exposing the truth!

I think people mainly latched on to Ghandi for the timing of his pacifist agenda, it might not have helped India achieve freedom in practical terms but I bet it helped endering a lot of people to the Indian cause to hear stories of a man fighting with peace when the world was in such horrible wars, and there is at least something to be appreciated about his dedication to not recur to violence on a human level even if it didn't get results and unfairly overshadowed other important figures of Indian liberation, in some ways he seemed like a beacon of hope at least at the time.

Yes, this reminds me; Martin Luther King was lifted up by the elites, he was given help and a platform, but they did not help Malcolm X, his message was not liked by the elites, even though he resonated with many, many african-americans, perhaps even more than MLK. But today most remember MLK and his message, even conservatives. Malcom X is more on the fringe.
It makes you think about what narratives we are supposed to belive, and what narratives are suppressed. It is clear to me that certain narratives are useful to the rulers, others are not. The truth is not important, peoples perception and beliefs are much more important, to the rulers of a society. Having Ghandi as a hero and a saint may be useful.

Honestly, I think the same can be said about any industry. Look at all the “greats” and the “best” of their respective industry and they had a couple loose screws atleast in our POV. Like someone said above. I honestly dont know or think it’s necessary but its definitely a notable pattern that cant be brushed aside.
I think to be the “best” or to have such high regard you have to throw away respect either for yourself and or others. Thats why there are many cases where critics say “said person couldve been so much more if they took that role or went along with that thing” and thats what got them out of the industry. But in reality that said person kept their self respect and dignity and decided to leave al together to keep that. we dont even see or even think about those follow up stories until after the fact. Just my two cents

Just want to start off by saying i really like and appreciate your introduction to your video. 💯🙌 that is one truthful and honest disclaimer. Also it shows that ppl don’t know what they are really talking about and should actually know what they are talking about before they start talking. Really cool and means a lot to me at least if my thoughts mean anything beyond my son and others i care about.

You didnt say the whole truth about churchil. That man actually looted even the food from the starving country, leave alone the looting of gems, treasures from the kings. They refused to help and are not great

It's never been about man or woman being perfect but those who gave more of themselves to help the less fortunate. As a believer in the words of the Holy Bible, ALL have sin and come short. It's about doing something positive versus complaining while doing nothing to make things better. Peace out.
