When you are welding on bearings, strive to ground your negative cable so the current is NOT completed THROUGH the bearings from the inner race to the outer race because you will pit the balls wherever the current randomly arcs to complete the circuit. This is not a big deal with this small project, but I have seen the bearings ruined on the final drive of an old D7 CAT because the welder was not cognizant of this when welding on a new drive sprocket. I have a question: Can I assume if one wanted a ring bent into a bigger circumference one would need bigger wheels/bearings? Or is it just a matter of adjusting the vice?
Very clever invention. Nice to see some arc welding and a project the everyday person could make. Those who haven't cut steel with a cutoff wheel on an angle grinder wont appreciate how much time went into this video.
Да офигенно умное решение приварить сталь 3 к подшипнику, небольшой перегруз и всё отвалится ,если уж делать надо было на ведомые подшипники одеть трубу и прихвотить поворотный рычаг вот тогда это будет выглядеть нормально
The bearings are ruined, better make a housing for the bearings, you can use smaller needle bearings the hand force is not that big and weld on the housing!

You do not need bearings of other sizes, only the vise adjustment is required.

Different radiuses! It depends on how closed the vice jaw is
