Today I show you how to make a metal vise from gear and disc. I used bike gear and disc to make this diy metal vise. This homemade bench vise is very easy and simple to make at home. I made this diy bench vise with the easily available materials. This diy metal bench vise is very strong and rigid in construction. This homemade vise can also be used for heavy duty applications. This diy metal bench vise gives very powerful clamping force. This homemade bench vise really works good. I really enjoyed while making this homemade vise. Your lower half looks strong enough but I’d suggest that the upper sections aren’t strong enough and will fail, you are likely to already see deflection if you clamp solid material in your jaws and the support arches you used. I’d be fabricating everything the top support in reasonably heavy flat bar or plate
