Anyone new to welding or working with metal: never cut or weld on any container that has ever contained something flammable until you have thoroughly cleaned it out. If it's not cleaned out good enough, it could explode on you.
@@DemocracyFirst2025clean out and purge multiple times with water, then I use an airline to force out any evaporated gas that may still be present before cutting,
@@DemocracyFirst2025 When I make stuff with old propane bottles I get the valve out and fill with water, leave it full of water and make a planned cut or holes for drilling, there is no space remaining for vapour to build, never had any issues then in 40 years of this type of thing.
Rebar is sized by 1/8". Example a common rebar is #4 which is 1/2". The smallest I have seen is #2 (1/4") That would be my guess for the the shelf bracket and door handle. Fuel tank BBQ is probably #4.
1:02 - 1:19 nice design but cant wait to see the undesirable rust develop on the handle where you didnt paint it. Even the humidity in the air and moisture in your skin will start to make it rust

Yep, depressurize and fill with water multiple times is the easiest way. You could also purge with argon if you didn't want to have water left behind.

Thanks for the tip, follow up question:
What does, “cleaned out good enough” look like?

( !!! PLEASE DO NOT ADD BACKGROUND MUSİC )
AMBİENT SOUNDS AND MACHİNE SOUNDS WOULD BE NİCER TO HEAR
+1
Rather hear nails on a chalkboard or screaming baby toons than listen to that.
Металл тонкий. На долго не хватит.
😂😂😂
Freaking fantastic, love it 👍
Hi, can you use natural sounds instead of pre captured machine noises?
Can I have some rebar
I like the stove from jerrycan.
Awesomeness

I live in Japan and enjoy various DIY projects, but your crafts are amazing. I'd love to learn.
Now that was pretty dang cool! I 😍
I'd make a curve in the handle to make it my own. Kool idea
Dude. Love that door handle. I really like creativity like that. Excellent job. Thanks.
Essa churrasqueira que ele fez teria que esperar esfriar para levar pra sua casa 🏠
Wow.. Was man nicht alles tut wenn einem langweilig ist... 😂😂😂
Hi, what kind of spray are you using to remove the paint from the can? Thanks
That looks like automotive paint stripper. Sold in most hardware stores.
Bravo ✌️
Wonder how many people committed suicide listening to this music......
Prefer the white noise from 8 hours of using an angle grinder
Just found your channel and Subscribed. Very nice
What did you spray on tank to remove paint?
Hmm… Like the handle but the brackets are just over-engineered and the ex fuel can is a pretty bad idea!
0:35 Wasted material enough to probably make a whole other one...
Shuuppps ... but did ya like the product or no..? 🙁
Très bon bricolage
clever ideas
Great
All that work for a handel 🎉
My wife would hate these!… how many do you have?
Looks like an exact copy of Gavin Clark’s work from 2 years ago
Lots of work, and with my welding skill (or lack there of), I'll just by a premade one.
You can probably weld better
Was it that easy to turn.
Well, you know how to tack. Now you need to learn how to weld. Maybe you should start with that.
What size rebar is that?

Please post your welding settings
what welder do you use?
Work is health 🇲🇨
If I ever painted my work with paint out of an aerosol spray can I think I would just go ahead and put a piece of lead in my head?.

I was wondering the same thing, would a clear coat spray work against the inevitable rust?

Что за сварочный аппарат такой, аргон что ли?

Только канистру испортил.
Бред полный!!!!!
Than fuel can cooker project is the dumbest welding diy i have ever seen.
so it's not made of plastic
Does anyone actually think this is interesting?
Softest rebar I've ever seen.
Not really a metal worker. Not really an artist. More of a UA-cam studio and video maker
Адовая бредятина
Give me my nine minutes back
с канистрой просто бредятина полная .столько времени на фигню полную
