I have house centipede phobia. Would using this be overkill? I'm a little scared the force will send it flying. Would that be a risk with any model? How close would i need to be to kill one with one shot?

Can't see a reason it wouldn't be if it's economically feasible for them, you can get the regular Bug-A-Salt 3.0 here, and CO2 powered pellet guns are normally available.

I tried using my shredder and when putting a cartridge in all of the gas expells out of the cartridge. Any ideas?

I had this problem with same co2 cartridges in paintball guns decades ago, it's generally normal because what you are screwing in to pierce the cartridge is where the connection is made to feed the co2 so if it isnt sealed fast enough some of the gases are expelled. Solution is generally to just screw it in and seal it faster, you'll get the hang of it sooner or later. It's the reason the bigger refillable co2 or compressed air cans that had brass threaded fittings were preferred for old paintball stuff.
I wonder if this is good on voles? Because I'm about to get an Alaskan Machinist involved.
You'd probably want a real firearm with a .22 varmint load for voles.

Get a Super Soaker my brother, they are even some that are battery powerd so no pumping. It wobt hurt them, it isnt illegal but they will hate it and stop coming around after some time

These are Dubia cockroaches and do not infest homes. You can get them at the pet shop, and are sometimes used as feed for reptiles.
Kind of harsh you guys are killing them for a commercial.
I think what you meant to portray is the eradication of the German and American cockroaches which are typically the ones to infest homes and thus become pests.
