    Dear u
    Padparadscha is a saphire that had both colors like a lotus flower in the evening sun. Its a light orange base with light pink color flakes in the same stone.

    I have a pendant that I wear on my akoya pearl necklace. I was told that the stone is an orange sapphire, though I've found it to be a pink orange. It changes color in different lights and is the exact color of the padparadscha sapphire that you feature in this video.

    I just bought two pink sapphire online thinking they would be a shade or two lighter than my others rubies and would sit together in my case just like my emerald and green beryl. At first I was disgusted by the unusual and undefinable color of these rejects. Then I realized these are both ideal padparadscha stones. Now I’m happy that the seller misrepresented these stones.

    My favorite color padparadscha is the light peach color sometimes called Ceylon padparadscha but that is just a marketing term I am sure. I don't like the bright saturated pink or bright saturated orange shown today. There is something for everyone. I want an oval peach padparadscha. I wish the lab created ones came in the lighter hues.

    I got plenty of lab grown ones with good pink/orange mix if u want any. Still kind of rare in lab grown version too. But the lab made it possible because i literally sent one to be crushed to find out the elements that made the colouration possible. I got quite some naturals too for those who can afford more.

    I recently came across several specimen in winza Tanzania they are pink and blue stunning blue and pink one being literally very saturated with both colors spotted throughout a few have more just bicolor sapphire with pink and blue with few spots of color but the best fully mixed where there is no part that doesn't have pink and blue while most have parts mainly blue and pink so please show them I'm in love I'm currently buying as much as I can of the mixed not zoned and honestly would be very hard to treat with heat I think impossible since you would lose the pink and I am in love with it all the ones have seen have been aluvial deposits and haven't seen anything with the ore it comes from

  • @prettybird1978
    @prettybird1978 7 місяців тому

    So I have a few in this color, however they are Be heated. So if you have padparadscha color through Be treatment is it still considered Padparadscha?

    • @sandunbaduge1742
      @sandunbaduge1742 4 місяці тому

      There are heated Padpradscha. Even in this video i'm not sure stones are in Jewelry are really Padpradscha since more in to darker side of the Orangish hue make it hard to considered as a Padpradscha. But a pink drop most likely a Padparadscha but others are highly doubtful unless GIA,GRS or Gubelin certified them as a Padpradscha.

    I'm from Sri Lanka. And I'm really having a hard time trying to select an emerald. (Emeralds don't originate from Sri Lanka so it's kinda expensive.) If you are planning to come let me know please because I have no idea as to how to select an emerald.

    I believe I have a Sapphire not sure the carrots but it is a cabochon actually it's very clear and it's about the size of a marble I guess, got it at a little shop when I was out and around and it's very beautiful. It looks as though it is very deep pink or maybe even a little bit orangish at Julie. Not absolutely sure but it does resemble the ones I saw it on your video. I can't believe that it's worth that much though but yeah I guess you never really know do you.

    • @sandunbaduge1742
      @sandunbaduge1742 4 місяці тому

      Can go from $100's to $50000 per CT. Its extremely difficult to find "REAL" Padpradscha without inclusions. Its not easy to find the actual Padpradscha since Pink sapphire and Peach sapphires can be identified as a Padpradscha in most cases.

    I won an absolute dream, that I won't brag about, cos I am modest and English and stuff.
    I swear when I saw it in front of me I gasped and my partner did, too, not knowing what it is, or what it's worth he said it is the most beautiful ring he has ever seen.
    I have studied the healing crystals can bring, both as a Chovihana and for my post grad Nursing Masters in Holistic approaches to Healing.
    My Ancestors always had the help of green fluorite with healing people with mercurial episodes.
    Now known as bipolar disorder, the stones are a good source of Lithium, the original psychiatric 'go to' as medication.

      In Sri Lanka, we call it Padmaraaga with a very clear Sanskrit accent/pronunciation
