I love that. And I also love that you saved something water damaged. The best part of the video, however, was your sweet dog! What a cutie. Thanks for sharing this. ❤
Luv outcome. Didn’t know u can’t seal Terra with wax. I mostly use Frenchic or Annie Sloan wax, not a fan of DB wax and these seem to work, hope so anyway. Thanks for tutorial. Great work & I’m a big fan of greens, too. 💞
Thank you! You can technically seal it with whatever you like BUT sometimes some products can pull the paint up so I like to make it rock solid with Terra Tuff first then add the coloured waxes after for decorative effect 😀
I love your pieces and how different you make each. I'm trying to turn my white bathroom vanity into a rustic brown, kind of distressed with a dry paint technique. I was hoping for inspiration but I can't seem to find any videos turning white to rustic browns. If you have any good ideas please let me know.
Hi! My understanding was that if you apply Best Dang Wax (water-based) over a topcoat, that you have to then seal the wax because it doesn't bite into the topcoat like it does a chalk mineral paint. I see that you did not seal the wax here. so is it ok to apply Bet Dang Wax over a topcoat? That would make a huge difference to me. Thank you. Beautiful piece.
You can seal Best Dang Wax with a topcoat for high traffic areas (I would for a dining table) but you don’t need to. I’ve done it this way round for years with no issue. Just make sure to wipe the excess back and buff well as you usually would with wax
No no no...this pine furniture is solid wood. The paint finish has given it a fresh, modern look. Let's be creative and revive these solid furniture pieces and keep them out of land fills.
I just can’t decide what I admire most: your artistic ability, your creativity or your gift for clear and meaningful instructions! Simply…you rock!
Aww that’s super kind, thank you!
Beautiful and your instruction is really helpful. One of the most detailed instructive videos I have seen in a while!
Glad it was helpful!
Really love the worn patina you created on this piece. Great instruction too. Well done.
Thank you very much!
I really enjoy your work Connie. I love this piece. And…I also suffer from a “green addiction “. 🤪🤷♀️. Thanks for sharing.
Haha thanks so much! The next piece will NOT be green…or will it? 😜
Love watching your techniques. Another beautiful piece!!!
Thank you so much!
I love this Connie and the green you mixed is absolutely beautiful!!!! If I lived in the U.K. I’d buy it in a hot second!!

Fabulous! And your instructions are so clear. Thank you for posting!
You are so welcome!
FANTASTIC WORK!!! The only thing I would do differently is to tea stain the paper labels!
I did debate doing that but when I tried it on one, it just didn’t make the green pop like the white does
Amazing drawers furniture ❤👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Gorgeous
Thank you!

@@faffdesigns yippee!
A lot of work, but turned out gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊
Do you take the drawers out and paint behind or only paint the visible parts?
I take the drawers out - it is shown in parts of the video but I edit most of it out otherwise the video would be hours long 😀
Looks ready for the landfill. Next!
Hahaha more fool you for being here 😂
