Aged and distressed rustic style coffee table makeover

When my customer tells me to 'make the piece look like its been kicking around for years' I know they've come to right place. I adore faux finishes and making a piece look old and worn is one of my favourite styles to create. The brief for this piece was mustard colour and age. I showed my customer an image of a piece I created a few years back which had a paler shade blended in the centre and we agreed it would nicely break up the large flat surfaces.
In this video, I go through prep work, applying and blending chalk mineral paint and aging and distressing the piece with wax.
