I actually cried when the quote came up on the first slide! Thus was so emotional for me because i have a degree in psychology and I'm actually studying to be a doctor. I have a significant disability and people actually judge me for it. So I can't even begin to imagine how many arseholes you encounter in your day to day life. I'm so open minded from my degree and everything that seeing this transition makes me so happy for you. It isn't about gender, genitalia, mental illness or anything... I see the most beautiful person and you have the most beautiful handsome eyes. Thank you for making this. I have now been on T for 2 weeks. I'm a late bloomer; I'm 61 years old.
When I was your age, we barely knew about MTF transgenders and that was a huge deal: I only remember hearing about Rene Richards and that was it. Later, in my early 40s or so, Chaz Bono transitioned and I realized that there WERE FTM transgenders, but life got crazy for about 10 yrs, so it was put on the back shelf.
After that, no insurance and I thought I was too old. Was still researching and found that there were a surprising (to me) number of later age transmen and transwomen, so there was hope again! Just got insurance and found an endocrinologist who would prescribe T for the purpose of transitioning.
Anyway, as I said, I'm 2 weeks on T and your video helped a lot, Ryan. I hope things are going well.

You don't have to like it or even understand it but you should still respect him. If you saw him in the street you would never think he is a female because he is a male that's all that matters. I'm almost 6 months on T now and I always keep coming back to this video because I remember watching it 2 years ago and just waiting to be able to start hormone therapy. Sometimes I'd get sad watching this because I was starting to lose hope. (Don't get me wrong I'm obviously happy for him) But now whenever I watch it I get quite happy because I guess I still haven't realized how lucky I am and that I am like actually on testosterone like I still think it's just crazy and I don't even think someone will still read this comment but eh whatever maybe it'll give hope to someone

@@nyaknife7778 well in the end you will have to come out if you wanna be able to live as the person you wanna live and I know it's not that easy but just do it as soon as you feel comfortable doing so and trust me one year feels and sounds like a lot to you now but you'll see that thats really not as much as you think. Again I'm 2 years and 3 months on testosterone now. I came out when I was 14 and now I am 18. Time really does fly at some point! I'm sure you can hold on until then and afterwards you can be sooo proud of yourself :)

@@JJ-cg9rj I’m astonished how quickly you resort to attacking me so aggressively. If you feel like changing your gender or support this at all, than you obviously have mental issues. It is impossible to change your body anatomy and for you to feed into their delusion only hurts them in the log run. All of the sudden recently everyone’s body is causing them stress, you guys are feeding into lies and don’t know how much damage you are actually doing to yourself. Study shows 82% of transgenders have considered killing themselves, and 40% have attempted suicide… so obviously trying to “switch genders” only causes more harm.. Wake up to reality, no sane human being would mutilate their body and take hormones to “become” a different gender. Truth absolutely hurts… you should know, springtrap…

He sent me your video of your transformation, and I gotta say, that I have so much respect, and admiration, for all of our fellow humans that take this journey. We all need to realize how complicated the human race is. The fact that there is so many closed mided individuals, that can't accept our fellow humans, boggles my mind. By the way, I'm also very new to this experience myself. As far as, those around me actually doing something about the way they fell, if that makes sense. You have all my support, if that means anything, and I hope that we as a species can eventually love and accept one another.

Yeh it is. I don't want to sound ungrateful I'm lucky I healthy and alive. But it feels like your body is not your temple but your prison it doesn't match how you feel inside.
