- A VERY in-depth look at my D-Reaper deck, which I got 16th place with at Top Cut's Digimon TCG Ultimate Cup on June 10th, 2023, as well as a look at how to handle potential matchups!
I've never done a decklist video before, so I know I went WAAAAY too long, but I felt like it was important to talk about all the different combos and matchups I could think of. Let me know if you enjoyed this and would like to see more decklist videos about my more "for fun" rogue decks!

I'd like to issue a couple quick corrections:
1. At one point in the video, I mentioned a player that "Made sure to call a judge and get me a game loss", but I misspoke. The player was willing to get a time extension, but the judge was not understanding of the situation at all. Even though I didn't name the player, I just wanted to be sure to correct the accidental misrepresentation of them.
2. You can not trash X Antibody to use Reaper, because X Antibody can not be trashed by any effect. I knew this, but forgot WHY it couldnt be trashed, so when I read Reaper say "materials" instead of "Searchers" I gaslit myself in the moment into thinking I had been playing wrong and couldve been trashing X Antibody.
I also took this deck to store champs a week later for a laugh.

What do you think about adding in Digimon Emperor?
I think it's too situational to be worth using. The biggest threat to D-Reaper aside from attacking unsuspended and prevention of reducing play cost, is OTK style decks, and those dont usually raise their level 3s from the breeding area or leave their level 5+s easily deletable, especially in D-Reaper where just raw attacking is apmost exclusively how you'd delete things.
@@MailRoomFreind yeah that’s the vibe I get from it as well. Def needs some sort of tamer though.
Guy I spoke to about it said there might potentially be support for it in upcoming sets. So we’ll see.
I see some people using tamers for memory and x program for defense, what do you think?
I think X Program in theory could be good against Bloomlord, but with it being so expensive AND wiping out your digimon as well, besides Mother, I think you are better off focusing on getting to Gatekeeper faster. Anything Gatekeeper cant stop like Wargrey will just have deletion protection anyways.
I can see running Menoa as a memory tamer, but I really feel like the deck just does its best trying to turbo to Gatekeeper, Optimizer, and Reaper. And you can reduce memory so much so quickly that aside from the first turn or 2, I always feel like I have enough memory to get at least a couple cards played even if I only have 1 memory, to the point that I almost think spending a turn to play the tamer just for a guaranteed 3 each turn may not be worth giving up the other progress you couldve made on that turn
