I can be a perfect example of this. I was married for 4 yrs and had around 7 yrs of IT experience ( I am a guy and was 30 when married and now 39 just to clear the air) . Trust me life was hell in a relationship and it was like I was a machine of responsibility and not having any freedom to live myself. Constantly pressurized at work and not giving time to myself eventually was a path heading for losing health. Today I am divorced bcoz those unrealistic expectations were anyhow was about to collapse. I went in depression for 2 yrs and from past 2 yrs I m doing exactly what I always wanted to live. I have freedom, time, health, no stress of responsibility. Absolutely no regret of getting separated. It's like I got my bachelor days back. Only drawback will be be you should cope up with loneliness and enjoy your own company. If u keep expectations low from others then those days will ve the best. I am today financially settled post my separarion it's now 5 yrs.

The unemployment problem is due to a few factors no one is taking about. First problem is due to women force getting into the job market. This has doubled up the numbers compared to a time decades ago when mostly men were there in the job market and women were homemakers. Obviously companies don’t create jobs to include this change in dynamics. Second reason is that divorce and rate of separation are very high and people are remaining single forcing every individual looking for a job again as compared to one person being the bread winner in the family decades back. The social changes lead by divorces, women liberation, empowerment, diversity, all these narratives have created this bubble. Third reason is that every one wants job and be a consumer rather than a producer or a farmer. Traditionally the economies were rural and people were in a large way self sufficient. Therefore, the main reasons are greed, laziness, glamour, etc. Fourth reason is corporations are extremely greedy and have accumulated immense wealth and are not putting the money into circulation. The money is circulating amongst the corporations, politicians, criminals and the media and is largely accumulated and not being utilised. Leaving the rest of the population gaping for breath

No need to lose hope friends. Marriage is a blessing, provided you find a decent partner. There is no such thing as a perfect marriage. Current society and trends do not help, but you lose your time and chance as you grow old. Follow your heart, be honest, try to find happiness in little things, everything will be okay!
poor people must go liberal, no marriage only sex, spend money, take loans, enjoy life and socide once u r done with ur life.... this is happening in rich nations, india will see more intense form of such culture bcoz of much more lower incomes & lesser ways to progress... its like better quit the war u cant win and find similar minded people and start a universe with them, a parallel system of living life in unconventional ways.....
You study four years, another two spend on getting experience. Work four, maybe five years. The next projects require experience in different tools. You're laid off with... What? Learn to plumbing?
How much will we upskill ourselves. It is a never ending process and roi is almost zero as experience increases. The more we try ro upskill, the more is the instability in our job. With unstable job , it is not possible to plan the future like marriage, kids or buying a house. We end up in a rat race. One way to move out is to save sufficient money and start something on your own , not necessarily close to your qualifications. The issue is schools and colleges influence us towards work / become employee. But no institution teaches us how to convert the knowledge we have to money. We assume salary is the only way to make money. By the time we realise this does not work, we are too old to change our current path.
That’s a good suggestion. But very few businesses will work. So yes it’s not a solution. The solution is to have insane generational wealth lol, sad but true
"Buying a property in metros is life time risk " Never ending cycle of home loans will haunt!!! Rather " invest in education " It's my personal belief!
Its not that straight forward. The rents are increasing 20% per annum in metros. Already rents are nearing 50K pm. Within 5 years it will touch 70-80k easily. One can buy the home and later sell it out. But again it depends upon how much liquidity you gave for initial payment.

There are black sheeps /chamcha in every company. They can work like 12 hours/15 hours per day since they don't have personal life. Neither they had girlfriend nor they will ever find one. Because of them other employees suffer a lot.

The only way to secure your future is to build your own business. I built and launched 2 apps in 2 months, even though I didn’t know how to code. Don’t look around to see what the majority is doing. Look at what the successful is doing and replicate that.
This is it. At some point you have to start a business. If not you, then your life partner should start a business. Depending on job solely is highly risky.
Stay unmarried: no chance of messing your life because of a mad partner Don't have kids: freedom from all kinds of "forced" responsibilities. Spend wherever you want. Thoughtfully though. Dont buy a house: roam around the world and stay at different places. Dont buy a very very expensive vehicle: its just a toy, it'll eventually lose its lustre. Instead, try out different ones, rent them out, pick some second hand ones, and just explore. If you do this, after 10 years or so, you can "choose to" work, not "have to" work.

Marriage has become a business they love their partner on conditions which is not true love and only true love persist through our bqd times, so marriage is a risky business nowadays.
It would be better if both husband and wife work so that even if one loses job suddenly the other can take care of the family until the one who lost job finds another one or comes up with a business idea to earn money.
Marriage has always been a business. Especially for a woman it's always a gamble. There are exceptions though but in general it's a barter system. Best would be to remain in live in relationship or just have plain companionship for physical and emotional needs.
Loved the fact that you brought out very genuine problems , would also love to hear little more genuine and detailed solutions that can help us .Thank You😀
Hikes in Indian services based companies are very pathetic or very less, we need improvement in this area, considering loans, inflation. It is a really hard time for solo earners in the family and maintaining a home loan. Also w.r.t home purchase, It is better to buy a plot or land in city suburbs initially at early stage of job and settle that plot loan first and then to build a house on that land later taking the PF amount along with little home loan for construction purposes.. Or you could even sell that appreciated land later and buy an apartment at proximity to the office. In this way we could avoid paying a heavy interest amount for decades by following this step by step approach.
IMO, if you want to make it, you need to put in the work. Put your energy in some other place when your job is going good. When you are going through a hard time in your job or don't have one. Your side hustle will support you. Don't buy a house in a metro city. Adjust on quality. Try staying in cheap houses, when the demand in the area rise, move to a cheaper place. Save the money and take out the money to your hometown. This way you can build assets.
In today's corporate job scenario of India we can't even do freelancing or side hustle as daily job hours take up most of the time, if your team / employer knows about this then you will be kicked out before you think of resignation. Here biggest problem is financial saving of an individual, if they haven't done anything then their life are screwed To pivot to business or new venture, one requires good *Successful* network Upskilling sounds good in conversation only, project based learning will take a toll on mental health and on payscale
It is just an excuse, it just you have to make side hustle/ freelancing your priority after daily job work hour. Remember someone is working harder than you or someone is doing side hustle/freelancing when you are sleeping or tired after work. Everyone has 24 hours you just have to utilise it
No doubt so many young people are now thinking about government jobs. But unfortunately there are few such jobs. Minimalism and portability are the need of the hour.

There is something called "tendencial decline in the rate of profit"in capitalist economies. This theory posits that over time, due to various factors such as increased competition, technological advancements, and the inherent contradictions within the capitalist system, the average rate of profit tends to decline. As profit margins shrink, businesses may become less incentivized to invest in new ventures or expand existing ones. This reluctance to invest can have ripple effects throughout the economy, potentially resulting in reduced employment opportunities and, in some cases, necessitating layoffs to maintain profitability. Thus, the observed decline in the average rate of profit serves as a critical lens through which to analyze the dynamics of capitalist economies and their impact on employment and economic stability

This is the problem, its not about two job roles as well. If everyone starts becoming a manager dealing with clients , then where do Technical Architects go? I am not sure in whether its just India, but its baffling to me, how much no one talks about a core developers journey, beyond a Staff Engineer. Most people who don't want to managerial role, got into a IT job, because they wanted to tackle bigger and better challenges, becoming wizards in their domain (which itself is pretty vast), and rest of them is there for the money. But the funny thing is, in an interview, they ask, "Why do you want to join the company?" , and you can't tell them "For monetory reasons and other benefits that come with it". This doesn't make one single sense, its like people want to do stupid, but not be called out on that. 90% of the IT industry is run by Stupid. Because Agile and Scrum gave these managers and CxOs a buy-in ticket to sit at higher power tables without having any rigorous experience in the domain itself.

In the current generation most homes have 1 or 2 children. So naturally the family home passes down to one of them after the time of parents. In my opinion give up unnecessary ego and pride and if you have a chance of inheriting the family home, do not take loans or spend money on buying another house. If its necessary for job, rent an affordable one. To men, When you marry instead of looking for your fiancés academics or profession, give more priority to her family's financial background. What she will potentially receive as inheritance.... Stay close with your parents.. That's the best way to overcome such crisis

You study till 23, work till 28-30, plans to marriage and get laid off, what is the point of taking another's life at stake. When your job is on stake.. Ultimately you need Money for life, not job. Isn't it
Due to same reasons people around my age group of 28-32 years are thinking 100s of times whether to get married or not.
True I don't want to get married, don't like to take on family burden, and even matrimonial laws are against men
Sure, survival of the fittest at work ,
I can be a perfect example of this.
Well said job seekers being more is crux of issue

One way to move out is to save sufficient money and start something on your own , not necessarily close to your qualifications.

Stay unmarried: no chance of messing your life because of a mad partner
Don't have kids: freedom from all kinds of "forced" responsibilities.

I think government should impose a law that if a person worked 10-12 years in an organisation he cannot be fired easily

Your side hustle will support you. Don't buy a house in a metro city. Adjust on quality. Try staying in cheap houses, when the demand in the area rise, move to a cheaper place. No doubt so many young people are now thinking about government jobs. But unfortunately there are few such jobs. Minimalism and portability are the need of the hour.
Competition for government jobs is ridiculous. one can crack six interviews successfully and land a job than getting a government job.
If we even talk about it everybody will accuse one to be lazy/undesired to work etc. without realising they are also the victims of this practices

I m still working, learning, earning, still looking for love n marriage.
But i found that working in IT is bot like before, i am seeing layoffs in projects who are earning beyond 30L and using their expertise in stabilizing project and removing them. So hve money backup for atleast 5years.

Marriage makes income double if both are working though

Pavan I saw a comment who was asking for Solution.
Here a Practical solution: Give it a thought and try to make video on it next time.
Solution:
Work hard until 30 and Save. After 30, start some side busniness and Stay in a secure company like lets say TCS.
After 30 one should aim for companies with good WLB.
Also after 30 we should regulary prepare for interview. So that we have some confidence in saying "No" to manager. Atleast we would know that atleast we can pullup the same salary elsewhere.
Thanks.
Well said!

Absolutely 💯 true. Brilliant video 👏
Excellent video Pavan. Really love the way you present your views on current scenario of job instability , Home loans etc.
His videos are good and may god bless Pavan ji. However, i can see if employee start saving as much as earlier, life without loan, living simple life with essential things and thoroughly upskilling could help future. Future would be predicted that even Govt jobs are not going to be secured one. Individual should think marriage and kids are most important than career as finally earning money is only to feed one's own family. But young generations worrying about career neglecting family would certainly lead to disaster. Indian living system slowely changing like western system is alarming. Hope Mr. Pavan ji advise and implementing in one's own life will help coming generations. Life is always more important than work and concept of work life balance not suit to indian sub continent. However reality is work more than life balance.
If I know that IT is lifelong learning, then I will become a mechanical or civil engineer instead. It feels like garib can do everything starting from opening thela to becoming IAS. There is a lot less scope for me.

It's best to desire less and that will solve some of the problem.
Think before having kids. Often the financial pressure is transferred to kids by parents when they dont do well in school etc. (Everyone must have experience comments from their parents like "I spent so much on your education, where is the returns?".
Be prepared to take pay cuts and easier roles as your age. Be sure to start investing early on.
We have to apply agile methods on our personal planning also rather then following water fall model in our personal life. Take rented house near to office /school/ as per family requirements (should not be to much luxury ) and learn investing money for future. Make you plan very agile can be changeable with respect to situations. This way I can able to enjoy present life and save for future needs. More importantly this flexibility will allow us to grab the opportunity.
