(48 khz) I want to use not only DA but AD of ADI-2/4 as well. is it available through AES/SPDIF/ADAT? Are these 2 inputs of adi2/4 available digitally in UCX2 TotalMix? - is it possible (in this setup UCX2+ADI2/4) to use all of the I/O of ADI 2/4 in total mix of UCX2? 1 pair of monitors connected to ADI 2/4 (with eq correction applied on ADI 2/4) 1 or 2 pairs of headphones connected to ADI 2/4 with separate mixes in total mix and eq applied on ADI2/4 side (or only one separate headphone out is available?) 2 mic preamps connected to ADI 2/4 inputs (are these available in total mix as regular other inputs on ucx2?) ALL AT THE SAME time via any digital I/O connection to UCX2. or there are some limitations for this use case?
Do I understand correctly that I can apply EQ to line out, so if I have a different headphone amp connected, the EQ is applied to that other amp ? That would be cool I cannot find the download for this software. All I can find on RME website is firmware updates. I can find an iPad download in the app store, but my ADI-2 is connected to my MacBook air, so don't know how the iPad app helps. Thanks for any help.

A novice question if I may. Adjusting EQ on phones and main out. I never understood. Is that just for monitoring output? If I created and mixed a song complete with EQ curves and settings, am I telling the ADI 2 pro fsr to lie to me by changing its EQs? Meaning, if I push the highs on the RME to a ridiculous level, it doesn’t affect my personal mix. So it’s all for manipulating the listening environment? And hearing an untrue mix of what’s really going on? So it’s an audiophile thing? Thanks
Can you monitor the line inputs in real time via the headphone outputs and control routing through the remote as well? I’m debating switching to the ADI-2 Pro FS from a Lynx Hilo to save on rack space as long as the conversion AD and clocking is on par. I go AES in to my monitors, so not too many worries about the DA in that regard. The reason I ask is because I do tracking and mixing and the Hilo workflow allows me to do both albeit Lynx’s remote app is a bit lacking, especially in comparison to this new RME one.
Have you tried the ADI-2 Remote already?

Yes, that is possible. Every output and input has its dedicated EQ.
Go to the downloads website and select in the right tab the Remote software :)
