DFD is a LOT of fun. The mechanics are challenging, but much easier to learn and remember than some of the other fights. It feels like Sega borrowed some of the best parts of a FF14 trial and mixed them in with the NGS feel. As an enjoyer of both games, I really hope we see more like this in the future.
This^ probably the same for the happy rappy rumble uq did that so many times with high drop rate and absolutely nothing. Not to mention doing DFD around 50 times with nothing to show for it. I just bought one on the market. It’s almost like you’re better off farming meseta in dext base as a more direct route to obtaining an 11*
You're not just feeling it, it IS the low chance flavor of the month weapon. Unless you're extremely lucky like the post above, don't bother. I know some pretty hardcore players who haven't gotten one yet from drops. They just bought it instead though lol

Been playing for 1 week (life got in the way for a few years). Your videos have helped quite a bit, but I’ve been super nervous about jumping into higher level content with randoms. Worried players are going to give me grief for not being top 1% and probably dying a lot. 😂 Maybe this UQ is a good place to start since I won’t drag the whole run down too bad if I die a few times.
99% of the time people just leave, that's what stopped me playing high end stuff. Even being well geared I would still see people instant quit if they found someone with less than BIS Train with the UQ, jump in when you're comfortable with content
@@MadjGB Yeah, that was my worry. Not going to deter me from playing. Having a blast with the game, but I think I need to look for a new alliance. My old one from base is basically dead.
@@SquircleYT good luck with it, my experience is that alliances are rather dead, people just use em for the buffs and stick to their group chats. Though that might just be me being unlucky
Master Fragment drops aren't guaranteed, yesterday I did 3 runs and only in 1 it didn't drop, probably the chances of drops is high, but then again, it could potentially be higher due to premium PSO2 day, either way, the UQ is fun as you can mess it up without the 5 lives limit pressure and the forgiving 1 hour time limit to do the fight vs the around 15 minutes of the harder version.
Did my first DFD today. Not sure what to make of it. Can’t help but feel its a sponge/dodge boss with a bit too much happening off screen. The amount of double-taps that I fell into because of something I can’t see was frustrating. I’ll do it a few more times but fun isn’t the word I’d use to describe this or any NGS boss tbh.

I heard in July some card game and recreation of Tokyo open field is supposed to come by but other than that haven't heard anything note worthy other than the regular gear grind that's been updated a couple of times
4:29 Yeah, so fun in fact, that MY first time running it, we got a full group, and half of them bailed on it AT THE START, ruining it for ME! I got in for a second run where it wasn't plagued by people either trolling or deciding some peoples gear wasn't to their "standard..." Still, it sucks that a first run got ruined like that by some completely self-absorbed butt-holes! If this happens again, I WILL report ANYONE who decides to mass abandon a quest that is new for casuals. Sega should open up one of the still closed servers as a prison for those who intentionally abandon quests like that, and only let them out once they show they can be trusted not to abandon quests... Yeah, I'm still sore about that, and the abandoning at quest start like that is still a major problem... Nothing like being on Ship 1, eh?..
Oh yeah, in regards to the Crimson Realm, some people aren't paying attention to how it works. I got told off NOT to do a trial until the gauge was at four bars as if NOTHING WAS CHANGED! Are people THIS set in to how to do PSE Bursts and getting them super frequently that they disregard special conditions that make it easier and add to the bursts? Seriously? I only went along with it because I was not in the mood for a fight... It's like Krono and Skulls said, the player base is going to be the death of this game if everyone doesn't shape up...
Lame that we don't get another 10 free anniversary SP scratch ticket from the LTQ even tho it's the same but backwards. Who knows if that count as "new"
That DFD fight is still crap even on the UQ version lol Fight's not even hard, just long boring parry/dodge session with a damage sponge boss mixed with a cannon section. IMO, this is probably the weakest Dark Falz boss design on NGS so far. And yeah Winguard is not worth to farm, it's like Tisah and Flugel when they first came out, very low chance to get. You're better off farming Aegis for Aegis Souls for Lux to sell or prepare some for the next farmable weapon than waste time on a .00001% chance, even if you're min-maxing(or sweaty, as some people call). Honestly, Sega needs to increase that ridiculous drop rate, or make it farmable, so it's actually worth the player's time. Only thing I can think of as to why some people are obssessed with it is because of bragging rights lol
It's a shame someone Dos attacked me right at the end of my first DFD run. Really has put me off. Same happened when the Sonic race event first started, first run Dos attacked. Some people must really hate Rappies ;/ I am a rappy you see.

I have a feeling that Wingard drop chance is the same as for Flugelgard's in Solus UQ - 0.0000001% so don't even bother.

There was also an update to the LTQ, which is important since you need to do it for the daily.
The vital gauge is Khorshid from PSO2es.
