Thank you for your beautiful video. After living in Spain I am looking forward to seeing the midnight sun in Greenland next June 2025 with an expedition cruise for two weeks up the west coast after visiting Iceland for a week. Those icebergs and the glacier are spectacular ❤
Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking us along on your travels to places in Canada/Greenland that most of us will never get to see. You are so blessed. Stay safe out there guys. Cheers!!!
@@stephaniecole4609 An expedition would be more challenging than that . I have been in sixty four countries . That Greenland trip was more of a cruise than the expeditions that I have made over my eighty odd years .
Hey Team, You did an excellent job with this video. Well done, it was a pleasure to be on the trip with you and wow so cool for me to be able to relive our unique and wonderful experience through your eyes. Hugs
Such an outstanding video of an outstanding place. I don’t think Adventure Canada could have had a better couple to do promote their tour. We were considering the Alaskan Inside Passage tour but this tour is utterly spectacular. The only issue apart from the cost is the travel from Australia. Well, we certainly have it on our bucket list. Once again thanks for the great video and all the other videos you have made. We were in BC and Alberta last year and had a fantastic time.
Wow, thank you so much. That really means the world to us. I'll have to share this with them :) They really were a great group. Very very good. But yes, it is expensive. Partially because of how small the group is I suppose. Maybe 150 passengers at most and maybe 60-80 crewmembers! But yes, coming from Australia is a long way. I went to Australia in 2009. My cousins live there on a farm near Perth
It brought back happy memories of my Adventure Canada expeditions between Canada and Greenland. Both of my crossings of the Davies Strait were more exciting than yours-high winds and rolling like a sow in an.Artic storm. Can't recommend these expeditions too highly!🇦🇺🇦🇺🐨🐨🦘🦘
hey I just came over from Alex' channel. What a cool video, really well put together. Greenland looks beautiful, I've just been to Iceland this summer and it kind of looks like that (but Iceland is greener). Always wanted to go back to Canada, I've only been to Montreal once. Better check more of your videos to see where I should go! Groetjes from the Netherlands!
Do go! Greenland is more like black in appearance although this might change as the ice cap recedes. Greenland is actually growing in height as the permafrost recedes. Unfortunately a well known foreign power is buying up mineral reserves in Greenland for mining. This will be Nenvironmental disaster. Anyhow it is a surely native doing a Zodiac cruise along the ice field even if you're freezing! Adventure Csnada had a expedition going from Greenland over to Labrafor finishing in St John's. You end up going aces that not even many Canadians get too!
I love travelling and I like you oage as well. Whenever I watched your video I found you are so lucky, I also dream to meet you as well as travel somewhere. But I am also afraid if it could not possible so it will be really hurting me. Have a nice time ahead. Be happy God bless both of you..
Must Do Canada, seeing the guy near the start, doing the Eskimo roll was very impressive. It was neat to see the flag with the Inuksuk = in-NUCK-shuck (syllabic = ᐃᓄᒃᓱᒃ) on it at 2:14, which are the giant rock cairns of Greenland, Alaska, and Nunavut. After having had the opportunity to be on 2 dogsledding trips (in Minn. near the Boundary Waters, and in Vermillion Bay, Ontario, it was fun to see the sled dogs in Ilullissat. Karla, from having a subscription to Alaska Magazine almost since I returned from a vacation back in '84, I've learned that musk ox wool is called qiviut (KIV-ee-oot). Going back to the previous video's comment, I may be wrong, but I'll take a guess here: Nunavut = NOO-nuh-vut (the eastern 2/3 of old NWT), and Nunavik = NOON-uh-vick (the northern 1/3 of Quebec, both of which are inhabited by Inuit.
I found you thanks to Alex from Curiosity Inc ... enjoyed this video. I traveled to Greenland in the 90’s so this video brought back some wonderful memories!
I'm cruising to Greenland next month. I have a question on BOOTS. Will I have time to change into hiking boots after getting off the Zodiacs instead of having to wear muck boots or most landings dry? Will I have to carry the muck boots while I am hiking? Thanks.
Adventure Canada give a discount for repeat travel. Also you don't have to go for the most expensive cabins. I've used inside cabins and they were more stable and less cold in the later trips. Closer to the mudroom for excursions as well. They're not cheap but they're supporting archaeogists, scientists and other researchers and 1st Nations people and communities. Prices also vary due to the length of tbe trip and timing. They also include the cost of at least 1 charter fare in either Canada or Greenland which is not cheap!
Don’t be deceived by the slim beauty if you happen to see a Lays Ad prior to the video....eating lays makes you put on weight fast ....😔.... I used to be a great fan of lays which caused me to be obese and I have stayed off lays for over 5 years and it has helped me enjoy many other things like a Lindt black chocolate or a burger etc more often ...
haha yeah, the commercials can be deceiving. Then again, once you're in shape, you can eat anything in moderation. But yes, interesting that you found Lays worse than chocolate and what not
Beautiful, now Greenland is on my Bucket List!!

Expedition not cruise 😉. Only expeditioners know what to call these experiences!

I was there in the winter, but the colourful houses are the same. It was interesting to know the reason for this! Thank you,

How much does a trip only to Greenland cost from Canada? Say if we have a week's time.
No idea. You'd be best flying there and then staying in Greenland
how much was for the cruise fare
while jumping on wet grass
you just disrupted years of nesting- nice footprint

at 14k per person, i would love to do this but doubt its possible!
haha, we wouldn't be able too either. Most people are older and/or wealthy....or u really gotta save :)
