The UK doesn't have a Direct Democracy. The way to get Brexit is to have a general election, vote in Pro-Brexit MPs, and let them push it through. Not to pretend as if a referendum with no legal power trumps the way the UK has governed for centuries, and then start calling MPs traitors for doing exactly what they were voted in to do. At the time of the referendum 48.11% of the population voted to remain, no shit the MPs of those high population centre constituencies are fighting against Brexit.
@@TheGoatOfMendes Both Labour and the Conservatives ran on manifestos claiming they would respect the result of the referendum. Those MPs you are defending are reneging on their election promises.
"It's only Democracy if we get the result we like."
“We have to keeping voting till you lot vote correctly”
@blackkey1976 The UK has a Parliamentary Democracy, not a Direct Democracy. Brexiteers are very vocal, but conveniently forget that a lot of Pro-Brexit MPs got VOTED OUT in May's general election. It isn't traitorous to accurately represent your constituency.
@Brian Miller Don't lump me in with the remoaners, I'm just tired of people misrepresenting the way our government works. I'm all for a general election that sees one side take a decisive lead.
@blackkey1976 you're exactly the kind of person my original reply is talking about. the referendum means nothing given the way our government works. Stop misrepresenting what 'democracy' means and vote in pro-brexit MPs.
@blackkey1976 Taking things out of context and using ad hominem attacks? Yeah, your position seems strong. My only position is a desire for people to stop bitching about every development re: Brexit. Did your MPs lie to you? Wait until you can vote them out. Do they not support Brexit, but win your constituency anyway? Consider that pro-brexit might have become the minority view in the years since the referendum, it only won by like 2-3% in the first place.
" WHEN INJUSTICE BECOMES LAW, REBELLION BECOMES DUTY"

We are powerless to influence the outcome. Staying strong as you say will accomplish nothing. We are approaching the end of the political process and either this is resolved next month or something terrible is going to happen. If the people feel that they do not have a voice that can air their grievances and have hope that they will be listened to, they will be left with no other options but violence.
And the blood will be on the hands of the EU and their 5th column within parliament.
If I go to work and don't do my job I expect to get sacked, MPs go to Parliament and don't do their job and then tell their boss what they want to do and think it's OK.....
Have I missed something?
The PM isn't the boss of the parliamentarians, he's just the organizer. The boss is *supposed* to be the people, but at this point they've completely taken over.
Queen Elizabeth should order the army into Westminster, and declare an absolute monarchy
Yes you have
You forgot the part where they call their boss racist, bigoted and stupid
@@albaPhenom I thought that was compulsory?

"We'll go the way the people vote"
Vote doesn't come out the way they want.
"Ok, best 2 out of 3?"
Ha. As though there would be a third. Any referendum that kept Britain in would be treated as binding and another one would NEVER be offered.
"That was just a practice round"
Should be a bi-election whenever an mp changes party
That would make sense if they were unable to hold office anymore. Still don't understand how your representative can change parties, and not be held accountable to the people who voted for that party.
@@cmeier360 That's because, at least notionally, the candidate is standing as himself and not as "a representative of a party". In reality, of course, they ARE usually representing one party or another. I agree with David Norris that there should be a by-election if a standing MP changes party. They should at least stay independent until such time as there is a general election. That having been said, I don't like political parties anyway, personally. If an MP is incapable of thinking through an issue and voting with his conscience and in the best interests of his constituency, he shouldn't be in the job in the first place! Parliament is no place for political dogma, imho.
I quite agree, when an MP changes affiliation they no longer represent those that voted them into office.
I totally agree
They should be unable to vote on anything until they have been re-elected.

Or girlfriend that teats you emotionally like an extension and not apart of her life, slowly dwindling your rights and agency to be with her until she's cucking you.
It's more like that honestly. Abusive boyfriends are an archaic function of society. Women can just leave or call big daddy govt to save them in that regard.
As for the male in today's society- they have no recourse, nobody to help or listen to them. They are the proverbial abused girlfriend at this point lol, sorry.

Sad thing is the people who loved hillary weren't leftists until a few years ago. It was a slow media transition thanks to Bernie and AOC.

Off topic here, but would you mind telling me your take on Bolsonaro? As an American, I don't know much about him, but my impression from how hard the dirty, dirty smear merchants of the international press are going on him, I figure he must be doing some things right
@@Arbiter099 Sure, In the last election we basically had 2 Choices.
Vote for the "not"Commie party that was running using Lula's name, the party that bankrupted the country and gave billions of Reais to prop up other communist dictatorships around the world(Cuba,Venezuela, etc) and one of the main parties caught in the largest political scandal in our countries history (lava jato).
Or vote for a populist candidate trying to open up the market, promising to privatize state corporations that were sucking money up from the population and cut down the bloated state and massive amount of taxes we have here in Brazil.
He is not a perfect president, he is very much like trump in the fact that he speaks off the cuff and triggers the left. He has kept a lot of campaign promises, he has cut down a lot of unnecessary government wings, and he is hard on crime, witch is one of the most important things for most of the population, Brazil has one of the highest crime rates in the world.
He has been kind of iffy on corruption, while, he and his team are trying to drain the swamp(government official here get a ton of unnecessary benefits, money to buy suits, some have over 10 assistants that get payed more than 8k a month), but at the same time his son has been caught in some money laundering scandals and he is protecting him.
I'm not 100% satisfied with his government but he was and is by far the least bad option that we had at the time.
The left here and the remnants of the 12 year long workers party government is doing everything to discredit him, even faking and misrepresenting data about unemployment, and most recently the amazon fires. They would rather the country fail than succeed with a president they disagree with.
Bolsonaro derrangement syndrome is real here. Orange man bad 2.0.
We are still only 9 months in to his government, but crime in a lot of cities has dropped a lot and the countries financial situation is slowly stabilizing.

@@Skyblade12 I wish she would. At this point it would be better for Britain is she simply abolished democracy in the UK, purged all political parties and removed the rights of every politician and made them all commoners again, then re-forged a democratic political system and called for representative votes from all areas of Britain to elect reps for them and then re-made completely new parties, all the while reminding these would-be politicians of what they are - civil servants for the population at large. After all, the current batch seem to have mostly forgotten this.

come poop at my house shure thats one way of looking at it. I am happy my country is in the EU and cant wait what the future beholds.
6:35 How is "be your own nation" a radical idea?
Britain's gonna need its own Independence day before too long.
metalmagerin3 We thought Independence Day was 23rd June 2016
Dear England.
Thank you for making our semi-recent multiple PM switching drama look perfectly fine by comparison
Regards,
Australia.
The third reic... I mean the EU won't allow you to leave, they need your money
@Mr. Man the soy-viet union
boris should declare state of emergency.
leave the EU imidiatly
call for election
end the state of emergency
and resign
Prorogue the Parliament now and bring it back Nov 1st.
or dissolve it.
When the law becomes so murky, the winner will ultimately be whoever imposes their will on the other.
Either be the face or the boot.
France will do what Germany tells them it is that simple.
Unfortunately it looks like we will too as the referendum has been ignored.
This will be most excellent.

Keep Calm and Party On
How long before the army has to establish control? LOL
HONEST REPRESENTATION OR DEFENSTRATION!- There you go, write that on a sign. ;)
It's sad when America's current political strife looks tame in comparison
It kinda sucks when your MP’s personal financial interests clash with the people’s will. They become quite... tyrannical haha. 😂
#EndPersonalInterestPolitics
Set the example for us, Britain.
People the world over are watching.
Will the streets be stained, or will there be a renewal of democracy?
Brexit has been and is the best reality tv show in years.
You guys need to just skip to the end and storm parliament with assault spoons
I'm sure the Styx clanker army is ready to help :D
These traitors must be destroyed. Brexit MUST happen, deal or no deal!
The Benn bill instructs Boris to beg for an extension of the extension of the extension of the article which Parliament made law following a referendum of the people.
@Roger Dodger then the remoaners try to use the courts to... prosecute him, take over government and beg EU for an extension again.
@Roger Dodger sorry but you're so wrong, parliament can absolutely overthrow a government with no election in some circumstances
Carl are you prepared to stand for UKIP if there is a General Election?
That will just split the pro-Brexit vote. Need to be more tactical if we want to win.
After the comedy sketch vid Carl did where he said "he could be persuaded with enough beer" or words to that effect on the subject of rape, I don't think they would want him back. I support the guy on a lot of stuff, but that was really ill advised.
@@KCzz15 It was a joke, not a dick.
Don't take it so hard.
Well then, just before the war begins and we all don our armour, can I just take a minute to thank you for your commentary over the last 2 years (which is when I found you)? Back then I was a rabid Remainer and half-hearted lefty, one of those people who really into diversity and were were amazed that Brexit happened at all... embarrassing really. I mean I actually thought the Lib Dems were brilliant and James fucking O’Brien was the voice of truth and reason! Totally cringe looking back. Anyway it’s been a weird old journey of mind-opening ideas through Jordan Peterson, Dave Rubin, Joe Rogan, Triggernometry, Candace Owens and many many others but I have to say that you were probably the most influential in terms of helping me to properly understand Brexit and the reasons people voted for it. I feel as if I now have a real sense of empathy for my fellow citizens, I understand the importance of sovereignty thing, and also I have a genuine sense of pride in being British, literally for the first time in my life. In some ways I still think i am more of a natural Remainer, but it doesn’t matter because at this point I would happily march for the outcome of the referendum to be implemented and I’m completely appalled that hasn’t been. Anyway cheers Carl and I hope one day I can buy you a drink and say thanks. Oh yeah and by the way I’m female and I totally “got” the rape joke. Cheers for that too.
Its like voting between a hedgehog and a porcupine
Either why you get pricked
No one:
British Parliament: There was a vote?
"If you wanted Democracy why did you elect us?"
Fingers crossed for you from Canuckistan, Sargon!
All this is getting me mad, y'all voted to leave like 3 years ago,!
For the nth time I’m 3 years we are reliant on our international friends and economic foes in order to get the results we democratically voted for.
FML
Sargon, where is the queen in all this. Excuse my ignorance.
Yet people wonder why America is a Constitutional Republic instead of a Direct Democracy.
Can we all protest by not paying our council tax?
that would work but people wont do it , we should be protesting council tax on its own as a seperate issue, when it was bought in i was paying £300 per year , (reasonable) now i pay £1500 , but my wages have stayed the same.
@@NOT_SURE.. this is possible due to large flow of immigration throughout the years. With that it leads to higher cost in public sector.
Sound of sword being sharpened, armour polish intensify's
It seems like term limits are need in Parliament and Congress
Sargon 2016: "The U.K. doesn't have much of a gun culture"
Sargon after Brexit Betrayal: *cocks gun* "I just wanted to play video games"
Same as here in America. Notice this same thing is happening *GLOBALLY* ... Italy ,the UK, Brazil, America, France, Germany next? This is GETTING REAL. UK hold fast, and may God have mercy on your nation, on all of us.
How do you win an advisory referendum??? You gave your advise. So what? Parliament did not have to accept the advice, or it could choose to follow the advice of 48 % & not of 52 %. Do you feel obligated to count your advisors & follow the advice of the majority? Or do you say, your advice is fine; I consider it, but I do what I want to do. Don't you realize that UK is basically a Republic??? Don't you know what a Republic is? Yes, you have a ceremonial queen. And how do you count the over 25 % who did not vote?
