Thanks a lot mate. I already have a heating grip kit, but something is wrong with a HR9 off code error, so it works and then it doesn’t work… your video will allow me to explore where the problem is (maybe some wiring disease)… thanks again and sorry for my English , I’m from Paris 🤘
Many thanks ...a 1 hour job actually took me 2 days with the filming , stop start stop Start, walking the dogs 😂, hopefully it will help one or two folks out.
My bike is a 2022 Street Scrambler and almost everything shown carried over. The only exception came when it to connecting the three lobed power cable. Instead of the right side on the bike, it’s hiding behind a bunch of plastic covers on the LEFT side. Hunting for it took me forever.
Great instructional video as always Paul although I still don’t have the skills, confidence, patience and tools for that 😀. Off to France for a day trip with the Diavel on Saturday and can’t wait (with heater grips 👍🏻)
seems you have the best of both a boxer and a euro 4 speed twin which Im told is the one as you can do more with it then then newer euro5 version, looking at one just now so catching up on your channel , if you where to have just the one bike like I would need ,so looking at a euro 4 speed twin or a rninet for every day use and weekend get aways what's your advise please, cost of overall ownership is key too
Hi, the Rninet would be my preferred bike TBH, but cash flow was a bit of an issue. Running costs, can't answer that one , haven't had the 1200 serviced yet.
Please, can you tell me the name or the référence of the special tool to remove the special screw behind the handle bar ? Where did you find it ? Amazon ? Thanks mate. Cheers. Xavier
Hi , apologies for not replying sooner, I have been on holiday! The bit I believe you are referring to is the tri-wing bit which I didn't use actually . I got this from a throttle spacer kit that I had installed on the Triumph before I fitted the heated grips. Hello Paul, good video! I have a question about the Metzeler Next 2. I have a BMW 1250 GSA with some Anakee Adventure and I want to exchange them for the Metzeler. What could you tell me about them, are they really good or would it be better to try a Continental RoadAttack 4? thank you so much
Hello. I do not have any experience with the Road Attacks.....BUT the Next 2, in my opinion, are a really great tyre. I have only done about 1000 miles on them . Good in the rain and they warm up quickly in the cold. I have ridden hard on my GS and I would definitely buy them again.

I hope that you have got it fixed now?
Awesome video! I have ordered the heated grips for my Speed Twin and, after watching this, I'm confident that I can do this quite easily. Thanks!
Not yet. I’ll keep on searching tomorrow and I’ll let you know !
Hi there your how to videos are always a real treat ,absolutely methodical done and so well presented, many thanks ❤❤

Thank you so much Paul. I already ordered the metzeler, I know they will be excellent. Thank you again
@@eesqui11 Your welcome 👍
Thank you for showing how to remove those connectors under the tank! The Workshop Manual is no help whatsoever…
Glad to help
