  • 42 degrees today, figured it was perfect time to take the heated grips out for a spin. Fairly easy install, although some instructions would have been nice to have... But, I got them on they are truly plug and play(unlike Ducati) and you simply fit them, plug them in to the stock wiring harness, and off you go.
How do they perform? Watch the video, Mr Silly Sausage!

I just installed these on my Bobber. The bars had all the holes pre-drilled. Very easy to install. I really enjoy them. They heat up the blood going through your hands which keeps your whole body warmer. I'll ride as low as 40 degrees F now without being uncomfortable. 100% recommend, would do it again.

Weird, my bar wasn't pre-drilled for them... Nothing that I could see, anyway...

@@SquireSCA Yeah that's odd. Mine had the holes, but they were tapped pretty poorly. I ran a tap through them first to clean them up.

Lately i've been riding for like 3h at 41°F on a naked bike. At some point I also got in trouble. As i checked the records I found that ABS did intervene a couple of time (even on sportmode), before it didn't . It is sophisticated enough (or maybe i am to numb to get that) that you won't feel it tickling in your fingers but it still did. Well, lesson learnt. ;)
The guy smoking... hazardous for following bikers. You never had issues finding words on your bike before. :O

Yeah, it is that we are already vulnerable being on a bike mixed in with cars... And when I see a third of the drivers out there stoned, that concerns me. haha

I’ve noticed this on my bike. The amount of people smoking and driving daily. It’s crazy. This is one mod I really want.

it's worth every penny, and yeah, the amount of people driving around stoned is appalling. I don't care if people smoke week, but I see little difference between someone smoking weed while driving, versus drinking while driving... But that's the world we live in... Everyone has to be baked to make it through the day I guess...

@@SquireSCA pretty much same opinion on the weed. I work directly with a large portion of weed smoking population. It’s is affecting my ability to do my job greatly on the chronic daily users.

@@dcasandman Its def becoming more of a problem, and I am sure that its contributing to more accidents. You can't drive around stoned out of your mind half the time while driving and not have issues...
Who is so weak willed that they can't wait till they get home to drink or light up?

So this is what motorcycling has become.

Yup. Plug and play, keeps your hands warm, makes riding in colder weather for longer periods a lot more enjoyable. Why do you ask?

I mean, I used to soak my gloves in ice cold seawater and then fill them with crushed glass before putting them on and riding, just to make it all the more manly... But I got soft in my old age...
