You could run them straight off the battery. Just make sure there’s a fuse in line. In regards to the heat, I’ve never used the Oxford ones but full power is warm enough for me to feel it through my winter gloves.
@@stevegsgarage”Just make sure there’s a fuse in line.” Can you elaborate on what this means or how to achieve it? I just ordered these. The most electrical work I’ve done is installing LED and run them straight to the battery. Those lights came with a fuse. Does this grip kit?
Usually I'll use 16 gauge. But, most manufacturers are using a lot lighter gauge. My 2006 Ducati ST uses what looks like 20 or 22 for the heated grips.
I just had these grips delivered to my house about 2 hrs ago....they'll go on my 2022MT07 soon...you did a fine job w/ your video...thanks..!
Got lucky buying mine, didn't know there were different sizes but got the right size first try
Adding these to my Benelli TRK 502.
What was the weight of the rubber hammer ? It is a first time I see so easy and successful attempt to put the grips on. Bravo!
I have no idea. It's a hammer I've had for years.
Спасибо! Очень информативное видео. Приобрету себе такие же.
sick intro
So it would be ok to wire these straight to the battery then. How do these compare to the oxfords any hotter???

@@candacesmith3580 The kit comes with an inline fuse so you can run it straight from the battery.
Oxford grips highest setting is 45 degrees.
What gauge wire did you use?
