He seems like a great host, feeds him, gives him huge room and bed, does his laundry, helps him shave, doesn't charge him rent. And he crawls the castle walls like a lizard.
🤣🤣🤣
Dracula was preparing him for his grand dinner.
Keanu must have seemed delicious to old Dracula…..how could he control himself😂
This film has held up BETTER than when it first came out on the big screen. That’s saying something. FF Coppola did a great job and Gary Oldman is a genius, here, as he is in so many roles.
Gary Oldman did such a good job with this part.
Didn’t he! He absolutely nailed it. What a performance.
Reeves.... tried. Not the worst accent, but not great.
To be honest, with whole movie.
@@80R15_P That is what I meant.
'Part' has more than one meaning.
He absolutely butchers my favorite line from the original movie in this scene 3:03 . Just slurs it out in an incomprehensible way. I would not be surprise if he is hammered in this scene.
I like the detail of how Jonathan's reflection is what you see when Dracula flinches away from the mirror when it cracks, instead of no reflection.
Mirrors used to be backed with silver - a metal traditionally believed to repel evil spirits because of its purity.
Despite common belief, it's not that vampires have no reflection, it's that vampires cannot help but be repulsed by silver.
this actually plays on both, Jonathan didn't hear him come in, even when he was stood right behind him, hence no relection but touch of hand
These AirBnB's are getting crazy.
No disrespect to the late greats like Carlof, but Oldman brought the role to life. Gave him a human side as well as a blood sucker
I can't imagine how it feels if a monster shaves your face with a bare razor .
Ask ur wife or girlfriend then. If you have any....
You'll notice he didn't need to say hold still lol
Letters but 21th century mode :
"Why are you talking to your hand mirror?"
"Cellphone, you mean? I'm texting my girlfriend."
"In this strange language?!""
"What, emojis?"
people still send letters in the 21 century on paper. So it would be more accurate to say, Why are you putting the letters in the bird house out front? since no one came to pick the messages up unless they were sent for.
The concept of an actual postal service is younger then guns are. Letters are not the same as a text. You don't fill say Dear Yourname here! I hope this finds you well...not finds you but that you are well when you get it. It has been 20 minutes since your last correspondence...
Rather you talk like you're on the phone or in person...except with emoji cause our generation is just awkward when talking. So the only thing that texts and letters have in common, is that you have to read.
Gillette. The best a man can get.
If only this movie had a better ending. Dracula gets taken out far too quickly.
Yeah, there should have been months of content when he's in London
The true definition of a sundown town
@@Merknilash Yes, this might have made for a wonderful series
cmon at least yell something out the window. Like "you creep me out enough you have to crawl along the side of the castle too?"
The REAL battle wasn't good vs. evil.
It was great acting vs. terrible acting.
Keanu, we love you, but, this was an L.
"That's the way I remember her best"
~Bob Dylan
Someone needs to do a gay dracula parody for this.
Gary Oldman was drunk when he did the scene where he licked the razor.
I watched this fairly recently for my age and lost my shit when he licked that blood. :D :D :D
And now skywalker, you will die.
Young fool, only now, at the end do you understand.
Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the dark side
No .
Hello? Knock knock...It's Keanu, Got your pizza 🍕 steaming hot pizza... hello? Anybody home? 6 slices left...hello? I'm thirsty out here... 5 urp* slices left
Huh?
¡Bah!
Thumbnail be like is that stake in your pocket ?
Straight razor on the tongue..😬😬😬
They should have never cast Keanu in this movie. He was so terribly miscast, he can't do an English accent and he has never been a very good dramatic actor. I know he was popular at the time but his performance hurt the longevity of this movie, its absolutely cringe to watch.
No more cringe than the ham churned out by Oldman, the guy is a living breathing deli counter in this potboiler.
@@SevenOf9-Seven Well, after trying to rewatch this movie, I couldn't make it very far past the shaving scene. It is far worse than I remembered, in all accounts. From Keanu's accent, to Oldmans ridiculous hairstyle and even his very slow Transylvanian accent as well as some of the insane scenes such as Keanu being lifted up into the carriage by only one of an apparently dark ages Mr. Fantastic elastic arm. I must agree with you, this is not a good movie. However, to Oldman's defense, he is doing a great job in Slow Horses. Poor pacing in the first season or so but it picks up greatly by the third season.
@@shannonjennings1454 I like Oldman, he has played some brilliant parts, just seems occasionally, like in this and also in Leon, where he just goes way over the top.
As I understand Keanu was mandated by the studio for broader appeal.
Harker playing dumb
Draculo
That thumbnail looks like something gay is about to happen.
Dracula es gay
Oldman has turned in some hammy performances but this is his absolute nadir. It's like he watched an endless loop of 'The Count' from Sesame street and that was his singular inspiration for this part.
one...ah hahah...two...
