context for the general audience: Tian Tao and Liu Huanhua is coached by Yu Jie and Li Dayin is coached by Shao Guoqiang. So they train differently
fun fact coach Yu Jie is from the PLA and so was Liao Hui, who is now a commissioned officer after retiring
@@tfwwhennofitlitgf3300 No Yu Jie is retired from the PLA. I am not sure about Liao Hui but it's more likely he is not in PLA at this moment either.
@@tfwwhennofitlitgf3300it’s more

Steroids doesn't do anything, can you buy my supplements that I endorse?

@@haoneo7433 Liao Hui served in the PLA when he was a pro athlete tho.
IT DOESNT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS, LETS GO
Tian Tao at then end 😂
I've had 6:36 on repeat haha. His muscles are so wtf awesome

This battle is something else. Rooting for Tian personally, but primarily hoping for a great fight. Betting on a 175/215 by Tian, but lets see if he can really push the C&J as we all know he can on a good day.
180/225 tian
225 would be crazy
@@timo184 he has done as much as 218 in competition as 85kg and 225kg offseason so it isnt impossible
@@ke3285 225 when he is 89 prime might be possible. Dunno if he is in that shape yet. He power cleaned 180 relatively easy in the Luxiaojun video of a few hours ago, but don't know if the jerk is at 220-225 level yet. We'll see.
@@timo184 Yea definitely something to see and I am excited regardless if he hits something big or not, I just want him to see lifting again!
Tian Tao will always have my heart but Gigachad is the future
We’ve all been waiting for this!! My popcorn is ready
I don't know whose voice is behind these videos but I love it every single time....very professional👌👌
🔥🔥🔥 the strength is amazing this content is really good. This athletes are strong keep up the amazing work 😎💪🏾

"God dayuuum"
That back got its own life.
The cinematography is insane here, looking back to 2019 pattaya? That’s a long journey
How do you have only 139k subs... keep up the great work
Amazing production as always. Have we any updates on shi? The lack of news suggests something big is brewing?
The 89's are so much fun now. Crazy.
"...only to return and go up against Karlos Nassar..." what an extreme script life can write as we just learned a few hours ago about poor Karlos' injury. We can only hope he recovers quickly and in fact get back in top shape. What a treat would be to see top Chinese lifter (however it may be) vs Karlos vs Nino (also hopefully in top form) in Paris
I read was a full torn Achilles, that is really, really bad , I hope they pull the good grow hormone and get him ready , the question it what shape he going to be he needs to be full peak karlos for him have a chance .
@@AnthonyGarcia-sy3yk Was it his jerk leg or front leg? If the jerk leg, then he'll likely have to learn to split the other way because there is just too much force on the achilles being exerted on the back leg.
@@AnthonyGarcia-sy3yk Damnn Nino has been injured and now Karlos with a torn achilles? while Tian is just coming back and Dayin moving up?.. guess we'll never see them compete against each other.. damnnn..
89s is like the most stacked division but they're never all healthy/peaked at the same time lol
@@MaestroJericho damn looked up Nasar's injury.. thought it happened from working out.. a broken sink fell and completely severed his achilles.. damnnn
Thank you for this contet seb
Seb, will you upload other weightclasses from the european championships?
Tao can easily have the clean record this comp if he’s in shape.
Turns out he could
Li vs Karlos will probably exciting!
When Tian Tao dropped the barbell @6:21 and caught it as it bounced back up. I actually leaned forward to see if he was going to do that repeatedly as some form of conditioning exercise that I wasn't familiar with? Seeing these three and the things they do in the back room area are just a couple of the many reasons that I'm subscribed to this channel. I low-key wonder if that whole holding weight plates on your back core exercise is one that all weightlifters do though? So if anyone knows the answer to that please let me know? It looks hard but yet effective. I also think that China only being able to send 3 men to the Olympics. And the fact that not all weight categories are Olympic categories ahould both be things that the Weightlifting committee should reconsider. But that's just my opinion. Thank you Seb and WH for the background info and footage. You are appreciated.
not sure, but I'm gonna give it a go today to get a feel for it!
That weightlifting AI segue was seamless
This is one of the best sales segways I have ever heard 💪
Tian Tao is the underdog here, let's fight 💪
Oh Tian what an icon
tian tao has the best squat, best clean, ever in the history of mankind. It's just unbelievable.
These Olympics rules are an absolute embarrassment
The iwf put that on themselves, letting the sport run wild with corruption. Now they are getting treated like an outcast .
@@AnthonyGarcia-sy3yk they are lucky to be in the Olympics
@@scottessery100 I agree 100%
5:32 not really right? Realistically they’re not going to send a 102 or superheavy at the mens side, so whoever is the best at 61, 73 or 89 is going to the olympics.
I don't remember a bodybuilder having an amazing aesthetic back like Li Dayin🔥given that he doesn't even train for muscle
Ugh
Steroids
Noticing a considerable amount of early arm activation with Li's lifts.
Good catch. Is Li getting too comfortable with snatching?
Wow that was one smooth commercial Seb!
what's the soundtrack at the start of the vid?
cant wait for tomrrow
When is it?
Both got World Record ,Li Dayin got Snatch 180kg WR and Total 396kg .Tian Tao got Clean&Jerk 222kg WR
Damm, I don't like someone got to go I like both,, most exciting for sure, but it is a loss either way for me 😢.
The "China can only send three athletes total to the Olympics" storyline is not really as important as you're making it seem. They don't have a 102 or super heavyweight that has any chance of medaling. So it's gonna be Li Fabin or Chen Lijun in the 61s, Shi Zhiyong in the 73s, and one of these guys in the 89s. Sucks though how many great athletes they have and only three can compete. Sad times for weightlifting in the Olympics.
Yea its more important for the women's weightlifting tbh because china dominates (or is at least competitive) all the weight classes for women. Men have historically struggled past 81
Why do they only get three athletes? That sucks!
@@Francesco_Di_Pereira Olympics usually sets a quota for how many athletes of each discipline, that number has to be distributed relatively evenly throughout all the countries.
Seb, how tall would you say Li Dayin is? I always saw him listed as 1.72m, but since he announced his move up he's now listed as 1.77m. I'd like to get my hands on some of those Chinese supplements.
When did you see him listed as 1.72???
Dayin looks super tall.. but when standing next to Lu or Tian.. they look like the same height..
@@zhouxu817 I googled his height a couple of months ago and other times I just googled him and his height was listed. It always said 1.72m.
@@delespai5592 That data were from years ago when Li was still a youth/early junior lifter. He's grown up. Lu's 172cm for sure, and Li's noticeably taller than Lu.
Tian is1.73m,Li is1.76m
I saw this video, great athletes with big muscles & power ... and my question(s) is that I wonder what are they eating ? Do they follow the traditional chinese cooked food ? How many hours they are sleeping / night?
Whats the name of the intro song? Cause i cant find it with shazam.
Can anyone tell me where I can get tickets for the World Championships in Riyadh?
please tell me what is the song at the beginning? 🙏🙏🙏🙏
They straight up call this man gigachad
Im with Tian, hes my favourite
this is awesome
Why is it that only one of them gets to go to the olympics? Specially since their world record performances... They both deserve it
Blame the IOC.
Meanwhile Swimming get a billion more medaling segments that they don't need.
Because the IOC don't want China to have more medals.
It is really unfair ..
TIAN TAO
it's obviously going to be tian tao..... look at that 240 front squat that looked squeaky clean!!!
Hi, do you have info about Shi Zhiyong ? We didn't heard much about him, maybe he's injured I have no idea
Still out fishing I guess…
Just waiting for crushing his weightclass and power cleaning the current word record I guess..
@@ThePixelro Ahahahahaha TRUUUUUE
Hi Seb ! If the top ten is constituted of 3 Chinese weightlifter , dies the Olympic selection will invite then n°11 and 12th in the world ??
Yes that's exactly how it works.
@@WeightliftingHouse thank you !!
China will certainly send Li Fabin as his totals are likely to far exceed the competition. Shi Zhiyong looks like a long shot to be in shape and there’s no real 73kg lifter other than him for China. 89KG will be Uber competitive depending on if Karlos will be recovered from his injury…I’d imagine they will ultimately go with Li Dayin as he will dominate the field in the snatch and just needs to be average in the C&J to secure gold. Tian is too risky with his propensity to bomb out of competitions and his snatch total will be weak.
So the last question is do you go with He Yueji @67KG or GIGACHAD @96KG?
You go with neither of those because both the 67kg and 96kg weight classes are not Olympic classes anymore.
What happened to Shi Zhiyong ?
They are superior in every imaginable way.
What happened with zhi zhiyong?
why they make it look so light
Did he just make the Madhara hand signs at the end of the video 😂
Has karlos nasar had an ankle operation?
❤❤❤
I hope Gigachad makes it
Where is Shi Zhiyong?
china numba 1!

7:44 lmao
its bullshit that only one spot per country. back in the 70s 80s 90s medal sweeps happened
insane
Does anyone know who the bearded white dude is with the Chinese team?
do you think Lu Xiaojun will come back, he got suspended due to EPO, but once his ban has been lifted, he can come back, but his getting old, his already in his 40s though..
He needs a big total, but he also needs to "compete" in a minimum amount of events. It doesn't seem he would be able to fulfill that necessary amount of participation besides the total he would need to lift at 73kg category. Wich, so far, has 3 chinese lifters already fighting for the top rank.
There's no way he can be in competive shape at that age at least not with the 20 year olds
Nah he’s fucked
@@durrantmiller8810not true he's not old he's not 60.
@@brendon2462 most weightlifters retire by the time they are 30 and often before the fact that his career lasted into his mid-late 30s is incredible. He was mentioning that his recover was much more difficult than it was when he was younger and after an at least 4 year ban he'll be in his 40 and his recovery will be significantly worse. He's not coming back. It also seems that he is ready to move on and raise his children
Olympics rules regarding no. of participants from a nation completely suck...people want to see the absolute best athletes battle in the Olympics regardless of them being from any nation...complete injustice to a great sporting nation such as China...!!
Exactly, imagine if they did that to athletics and places like America, Jamaica, Kenya could only send 3 athletes each 😂
Look at how thick their back is.
It's kinda sad about 1 per country rules. China's population is 100x more than some countries.
Li off season BW was 88 when he was a 81 lifter !
Are these guys on special steroids made in China or the same stuff as all the other competitors?
The IOC really hates weightlifting lol
The iwf put that on them running that federation like Vito corleone here are consequences now , plus they are on fuck up away to getting complete kick out from the games ..
What are they doing where they lie off the side of the bench with weight on their back ?
Back extension holds, normally you’d do them off a ghd but obviously they had no ghds in the training hall so alas some improvising is needed
Why did Li Dayin move up? Can’t say I agree with that choice
81 kg is no longer a Olympic category sadly
shi hasnt really compete since Tokyo. Not sure if he is going to be in shape in time
I don't understand why exactly they brought Li Dayin up from 81 to 89. If they want to secure more golds, why not keep him in the category he was dominating in and let Tian Tao or Lua Huanhua compete at the 89?
Because they change the weightclass, and typically losing more weights causing more injuries as there's less muscles in the joints protecting it.
@@fearlesftw1 So why the heck do the Asian championships have a 81 category only for the Olympics to have removed it.
I think 81 isn´t an olympic category anymore, please correct me if i'm wrong
@@davidrichet4772 you're right, I just saw it on the website. They said it was in order to ensure gender equality. So they removed a bunch of categories in order to equalize the male and female categories.

Only 1 athlete in the same category can go to Olympic is an absurd rule. A country can have only 3 male and 3 female athletes complete in Paris is ridiculous.
It's a trap!!! 6:30
I bet Tian won't be competing
I see your point, but the competition is tomorrow, and he is going hard training the other times. You can tell he wast on competition shape ,like the last word championship if he compite for sure was a bust .
I wanna have li dayun problem
Asian Championships aka Trenbolympics.
If he is as juiced as Xiaojun, he has a wonderful future in tested weightlifting
Am I getting this right? If a country has the top three lifters, competing at the Olympics, only two can actually compete? Even if they are the top three in the world? Imagine if track and field was like this. Gatlin could compete, but not gay. It doesn't make sense.
The olympics is primarily a country vs country competition, it makes sense that only the very best from each country would get the chance to compete so that we can get more representation in terms of the number of countries, and a better indicator of how each country measures up to one another
@@thorthewolf8801 thank you, that puts it into context for me. It's hard on the individual though.
yep olympics is not really about who is the best athlete. For example in 67kg class in Tokyo China could have sent athletes that would basically have moved everyone except Chen Lijun and Luis Mosquera into the B group
why are you emphasizing the fight vs karlos so much? china's only good heavyweight in recent memory is yang zhe who hasn't competed since 2018
Probably because it’s going to be the most entertaining weight class of the Olympics, no one is going to beat li fabin in the 61s and providing shi zhiyong gets back in reasonable shape no one is coming close to beating him either
His last competition was Asians in 2021 where he set the snatch WR
tian tao 240kg front squat like a joke for him. moves quicker than anything
240公斤作深蹲,這也未免太可怕了!
everybody is waiting for Tian Tao, day comes and Tian Tao withdrew, pua pua, it's the new fashion

Nasar is injured ~ he gon be out for 8 months or so …
8 months if everything goes right , torn aquilles I couldn't think many other worse injuries for a weiglifter ... plus, can he be on peak competition by the times of the games
It's pretty fucked that all these guys can't go to the top competition because it's by country.
Pretty fucked that swimming got a fuckton of fucking unnecessary medal segments to fluff up certain nations' medal tallies
while Weightlifting gets the short end of the stick.
