Sometimes I feel embarrassed about the amount of weight I lift but then I remember I do full range of motion and pause for two seconds. I too use to have awful form that would injure my back and not perform a full range of motion. It came from a lot of bad habits that I was taught at a privately owned local gym in the early 2000’s. I’m especially embarrassed over how I use to do deadlifts.
I sometimes feel like that, a little bit, but overall I don't give a poop what people think (that's true for my life in general, not just gym). I've only been lifting for three years, and I lift less than almost any guy in my gym (and weight less) but I don't give a crap. I also have made big gains (for me anyway) in that time, feel totally different (good) about myself, and know that I do things properly and have much less of a chance of getting hurt than some ego lifting muppet. I just do my own thing and ignore everyone else, pretty much.

Owww that deadlift at 6:31! That's the first time I've seen a deadlift STARTED with a rounded back, normally that happens later. But this guy keeps it real (and ensures max spinal damage!) by keeping his back rounded the entire way through the rep haha! The fact that he's even filmed this and put it up on UA-cam shows how @#£%in deluded he must be haha! He is PROUD of his dangerously poor excercise form!
To be fair as a tall guy myself: he should be starting with some kind of bias, so he can learn to lock in his lats and drive with his legs. Strong dude, but he could be a hell of a lot stronger with proper form.

@@roqz508510 lbs baby you can’t squat that and he just shoulder pressed it
These people are going to break the freaking machines
Big E if it does then it will end quickly for them...
You spelled spines wrong
10:03 “ my next trick I’m going to try to pick up a car and throw it” alright big man easy now
These videos make me feel better about going to the gym and not knowing what to do for certain muscle groups.. At least i know im using the machines the right way and have the respect for my gym and our equipment
Trust me. As long as you’re trying and not acting stupid like these douche bags, it’s all good.
Momentum, half range of motion at best - bendy backs for deadlifts and squats - how do they get into the gym in the first place?
The dude at 6:06 I wouldn’t really say this is ego lifting he is definitely strong enough to lift that weight he just has terrible form. I can put a
bet on it that if he were using a lighter weight he would still look very similar lifting due to his bad for and development of tight hip flexor using this terrible for for so long.
Yeah, my form is similar guess I need to work on it. I now understand why my back hurts gonna go watch an athleanx video on it to see if I can improve it
@@shawnmorganmills6556 watch Jujimufu's "Squatting wrong for 20 years" I had bad knee pains even with great form, it helped me and the next day I hit a 405 PR that wasn't possible with my other form
@ you must be a virgin
Dude is desecrating that fitness connection. Looks like the one in south Houston off 45. I may have to buy tickets to witness this “monster”
@@shawnmorganmills6556 my coach in high school said it best. Bend down like you're trying to take a crap in the woods and you dont wanna get shit on your shoes.
Never feel embarrassed. Lifting with proper form gets you the best gains. Its all about the journey not just the finish.
It always makes me happy to see people lifting with perfect form, i know how much harder it is.
Never be embarrassed by who you were. We're all a work in motion and you're choosing to get better.
hell, doing the bar with proper form is more impressive than this stuff :D
I sometimes feel like that, a little bit, but overall I don't give a poop what people think (that's true for my life in general, not just gym). I've only been lifting for three years, and I lift less than almost any guy in my gym (and weight less) but I don't give a crap. I also have made big gains (for me anyway) in that time, feel totally different (good) about myself, and know that I do things properly and have much less of a chance of getting hurt than some ego lifting muppet. I just do my own thing and ignore everyone else, pretty much.
6:34 he finna hurt his damn back doing that
I can hear the grinding of his back disks
Fuck back man we need big armsssss
Good way to pop a disc :/
I reeeaaalllyyy hope he slips his disc. Goddamn, respect the weight bruh...

0:55 that is called bench crushers
burnt bacon that one scared me. Thought he’d crush his face
i thought he was doing it to be funny for a sec
yeah if I owned a gym and I saw someone doing that, they'd be out the door
This video makes me feel so much better about my technique.
0:53 how to tear your rotator cuff 101
6:40 tall guy making love to the barbell 😂😅😂😅
It’s funny how these guys genuinely believe their “lifts” to be impressive.
There's a guy at my gym that likes to slam everything to make it sound heavier. One upside is suddenly everyone but him starts lifting quieter lmao
I have a guy at my gym he's like a twig will take up 5-6 machines at the same time, put his shit everywhere and do like 10 sets on each of them while grunting.. he annoyed me so much 😂😂
Bruh😂That sounds just obnoxious@@Sabrianag91

I swear the guy stops like wait what
0:50 this is actually a sports specific movement that javelin throwers do
All backs were ruined during the filming of this show😂
The first guy is lowkey a strong guy but he’s gonna hurt himself real bad in the future
That's the thing, I've seen that guy all over videos like this. I feel so bad for him cause if he actually took the time to learn how to train right, he would be monstrous.
Yeah his joints are ruined. I was have expecting his arms to fall out of his sockets like in spongebob.
Achey breaky back
@@glenmorgan4597 hahaha spot on mate!
To be fair as a tall guy myself: he should be starting with some kind of bias, so he can learn to lock in his lats and drive with his legs.
Strong dude, but he could be a hell of a lot stronger with proper form.
The guys humping the barbells make me laugh. 🤣🤣 With that form I feel sorry for their girl. 🤭
7:28 imagine spending 20 minutes to find and put up all those plates just to do that lol, so that's why some people can have 4 hour long "workouts"
Shoulder shrugs
@@LifeisEz120 and here I thought he just wanted to dry hump the bar...
“I shoulder pressed 500lbs”
No…… you bounced it 3 inches up and down
And locked his elbows to get it up lol
The dude trying to do shrugs on the smith machine 😂😂😂
Nothing wrong with shrugs on a smith machine.

Become the ego lifter once a week. Balance. 😏
Need to be recognized by some is so great
These guys... The people in the gym who think they're better than everyone else cuz they can lift more.... And then you have the people who brag about how much they lift but they barely lift it a few inches and/or their form is absolute trash....
I agree if it's not full range of motion it doesn't count and there just an idiot
Heavy joke is what his shirt should say
I love "I'm too strong for the Arnold" guy. He lifts like a cross-fitter (bounce, grunt, bounce, grunt).
