Thank you all for popping into our channel and for all your support. We both appreciate it. Come back soon and enjoy this new reaction from Brit Pops React...Cheers
When I first heard this song, I thought it was an old song and wondered how I could've missed it all these years. It takes me back to the music my Mom and Dad loved to listen to when I was growing up.
So... I was among those recommending them. Good vocals (both lead and backing), clever composition, overall nice musicianship. Really enjoyable. And: this is currently my wife's favourite band. Need I say more? :)
@Ulrich von Bek Ahh, I do apologise I did try and find some comments for who suggested it, but we had some many since I could not remember where it came from, I do now save off comments where I think we might do a reaction to it. Me, I loved this, it was exactly my cup of tea and you may have noticed that it was a bit of a turning point for BP1 also. The vocals were amazing by all and we have read that there is a song where he really does switch it up more. We would like to react or review that one soon. It's a shame the views are so low, would you mind if I ask, do you get notifications or do you just check to see what we put out and view it if it interests you. It seems very strange that the views are so small. Anyway, we all enjoyed it...and your wife has great taste...shout out to Mrs. Ulrich von Beck!! Thanks for the support.
@@BritPopsReact No need to apologize - you'd have to have absolute recall to remember everything from the comments. I check all your videos, because I like the format. (I don't necessarily leave a comment, even if I like the song, like the StellaStarr* one recently.) I guess views depend hugely on the UA-cam status of an artist/group. And you attract fans who find your videos by looking for stuff about their favourites. You can see that in the comments, I think. We talked about it briefly once: you get the people who will tell you a) how fantastic and supreme the artist/band is and b) everything about them, because it's so important to the fans. And of course they want you to react to m o r e of their stars and give you a list of "must watch" videos. (Which isn't a bad thing...) The Pumas had a good start (and got a Grammy...), but they're not big around here right now, I'm afraid. It's a bit of a shame, really - and not just because my wife likes them (she asked me to thank you for the shout out by the way. :)). Quesada and Burton are a somewhat unlikely combination, but the product is really good. (We talked about Greta van Fleet's second album - they could take a page or two out of the Puma's book both for vocal performance and how to combine instrumental parts. Not to copy the style, mind you, but to get ideas to change things up a bit more.)
@@ulrichvonbek1618 What you've said regarding the number of views, notifications and engagement in the comment section, I think you are right. I watch what interests me, and will leave a comment if so inclined. Fans love to see new reactions to the bands and the music they love. Following up recommendations to popular artists will quickly grow a channel, but at the same time reacting to bands or artists that are not so well known introduces subscribers to them and helps to get their names out there.
Been listening to these guys for over a year now. This band has some killer tunes. Thanks for the reaction. 60s R&B which i was raised on. Hey guys i wish you would check out Luca Striconoli he is a finger tap player like Alip He plays 2 and 3 guitars at once not separate but at the same time.Check out his cover of Feel Good by the Gorilaz You want be sorry. Luca is a phenom
@Tony gamble This was the first time either of us had heard from them and even then it was from a recommendation in our comments. They are bloody brilliant and really my cup of tea, I like Blues, R&B, Soul and Funk and they play live really well. He also has a great voice, not sure why we have never heard of them, but we have now. Thanks for watching and we hope to follow up with more soon.
A friend turned me onto Black Pumas 2 years ago and I live near Austin Texas, so as things open up, I hope to catch them live. Love them so much I bought their album.
I agree with you. After all, every rhyme's been sung, all the chords have been played. But honestly I do not like this one very much. Good thing we still have different ears!
@@donepearce I'd say both flippant and lost in translation 😅. Of course each one has a distinct sensibility and that's what keeps everything interesting - most of the times.
The different vibes come from Eric's singing. The man is magic with his voice. I'm sure all those years growing up singing in his church and then, in college he was heavily into musical theater. All of that probably gave him the range and sounds that evoke so many past greats
Good afternoon gentlemen from Mexico, I would like to make a recommendation for your channel a cover of the song Atlas rise by Metallica interpreted by the warning.
@Omar Flores Hello to you and thank you for popping into our channel. We appreciate your comment and thank you for watching. We are still very new to The Warning and will be continuing with more from them VERY soon. We will also add this recommendation to ur list. Gracias

This music feels very natural for me, having grown up and lived a bunch of years in Texas.

We may look at a follow up reaction soon.
Thanks for watching.

Thank you, I will take some time out and watch that.
Thank you fro providing the link.
Everyone seems to be a sort of chimaera of past singers. I'm getting Otis Redding and Lenny Kravitz. But I do like it.

@@benedettabico4148 I understand you are being a bit flippant, but there is much more to style than rhymes and chords. This is all about a feeling.
