Hals Wood Shop Thanks very clear start to Band Saw box. Thats what you do. And the band saw lesson. I want to testify to 1/4 inch blades, for years that's all I could buy. Recently I bought a Sterrett brand ouch $17 but the change has been like Massive. clean cuts, tracks, ease. Next you mentioned about not being able to follow the line on the drawer cuts, so was there a reason your blade guide was more than 2 inches above the wood, that's a big guide difference for any blade to cut straight. I see this so much on utube like the viewers need to see the bandsaw blade cut the wood and the guide up, almost like no saw guard cause its magic. Was it planned or habit that your guide is high?
I'll have to look into that Starrett brand. I usually try to have less space between the guide and the workpiece I must have forgot that time when II switched out my blade. Thanks for the tips you're very observant I like subscribers like you awesome. Have a great day
Great project. I'm inspired. How did you address the cut line on the box when you went in to cut out the drawer. I'm a beginner so please excuse me if I'm missing something.
Hey David, thanks for watching the video. No problem with your question at all. Talking about The first cut, I glued it back together after I cut out the drawer.
Very lovely.
Thank you Linda.
Your video is just what I needed 🙂 perfect for my needs and skill level 😃
Glad to hear it. Thanks for watching.
Nice
Thank you
Congratulations on the 5k. I am sure you will reach the next milestone soon. Thank you.
Thank you.
I've never built a bandsaw box, so you've given me some inspiration. Your build came out great, and congrats on the 5,000 subscribers!
Thanks Chris
Cool project. You Really need a fence for your bandsaw :) Get so much better results.
Thanks Ron, I just made a fence for my bandsaw and it works great. See the video, it's very cool. I guess I just wanted to freehand it.
