Dude I grew up in junior high and high school listening to limp bizkit! Don’t get the Fred hate, I saw them finally at 98 rock fest in 2009 and they were amazing! Fred is larger than life on stage, insane stage presence, and Wes Borland wails on guitar. They sound really good live… just like in the studio and Fred pumps up a crowd like no other! Limp Bizkit will forever be a part of me and my childhood, they kick ass!!!

Fred Durst brought Arron Lewis on stage to sing one of the most memorable songs of the early 2000's. Arron Lewis has one of the most unique voices of my generation. Fred Durst brought forward one amazing band Limp Bizkit. I grew up a socially awkward kid, bullied and mistreated. Music like Slipknot, Korn, Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit reminded me I was not alone. Limp Bizkit was amazing regardless of what others think
Fred Durst was never really a douche, the media just put him up as one and he had moments of douchie moments but who hasn’t right? Freddy D is the Homie and always is
It's beautiful seeing bands I grew up on, and saw in concert (The first time I saw Korn live back in 2000, Staind was pretty new and was opening for them during the Sick & Twisted Korn tour. I never got to see Limp Bizkit live.) still having love for one another, and letting the childish shit go from back in the day that happened between them!! For the most part, anyway. I'm lucky to be able to still be proud of the majority of the bands from my generation who are still rockin' today too! Staind played while my Nephew was born 18 years ago, so even though Korn was the one I listened to most out of the three, Staind holds a special place in my heart for that too. I like how Aaron always seemed to go to the beat of his own drummer, even if nobody else heard the song. Limp Bizkit became more of a guilty pleasure for many people after their initial fame, and that's unfortunate. They do have SEVERAL solid songs! I'm sorry Fred lost everything! I knew his house was hit by the fires, but I didn't know our was this bad. I'm SO looking forward to Korn's upcoming release too. They've always got some sick shit up their sleeves! That's why they still top my list. Thanks for sharing this clip. 💗, Amanda
People really think they know someone from social media..kudos Aaron for sticking up for your friend. I once saw some d-bag try to correct Ringo Starr about an event that Ringo was at and the d-bag wasnt...
I was watching a small twitch streamer one night and Fred Durst came into the chat and asked if it was ok to shout him out. None of us believed it was really him till he gave the shoutout on twitter and shared. He's a really cool guy.
We should all take note, We should try to lift each other up not kick them while they are down. We can all be assholes given the right circumstances. Life is too short to hold grudges bc of something that happened when we weren't having a good day.
I just gained so much respect for Fred Durst. Not once, did I, and I assume anyone else, hear about him losing it all in the fire. He's apparently not the type of person who has fame and abuses it to get sympathy. He didn't post about it on social media, which I'm sure 90% of other celebrities would just for sympathy. Fred, I'm sorry that happened to you.
I've been saying for a while now the reason why LB has been so dormant and hasn't put any music out in the last 7 years is because Fred is clinically depressed.
Everything you said was VERY true. It is not easy to be able to drop what made you become successful and go a whole different direction in music. Or anything in life for that matter. But Aaron Lewis is beyond words talented. And no words can explain. He did it made it look easy. And sound so authentic natural. Artists HAVE done it, but was it as successful as him in my opinion, no. And did they leave whatever genre that they became successful with, alone to a whole new one? No. They mostly all went with the same genre. That's why Aaron Lewis is so great and a legend in my personal opinion.
Absolutely a awesome stand up guy and fred is 2nd to none as well he has helped alot of people without asking for a pat on the back 2 great hearted guys that haven't let fame go to there heads!!

I've met Fred a few times....he is super Awesome!. I used to hang out with John Otto the drummer of Limp Bizkit when he was in town here in North Hollywood area...my bro (good friend) , was John's roommate. ...its funny to me because back in 2002 I really relied on STAIND, Aaron Lewis & Limp Bizkit when my life fell apart and wife left me for another dude after she got pregnant by him. Their music totally kept me from hurting myself permanently. Never thought I'd get to hang out with Limp Bizkit fast forward from 2002 to 2016 I remember when I walked into John Otto's pad I saw a gold record that said STAIND....I asked John why he had it and he told me the he signed the band. LIMP BIZKIT & STAIND FOREVER💪 ...lol ...I even had STAIND refrigerator magnets of the band and logo along with their posters. Even went to Springfield Massachusetts and Jacksonville Florida

Like it or not, Aaron commands HIS shit! HIS show is what it is, and I've enjoyed every one I've been to! Even had the pleasure of a quick hand shake, and him thanking me for coming. Dude is SUPER humble, SUPER cool, and GENEROUS as fuck! But if you cross him or someone he considers a friend, he's gonna check that shit, point blank, period. Reminds me of the folks I grew up around here in NC. And it's refreshing to see an artist doing art HIS way, and not being fake to the pleasure of some record exec in Bev Hills......Staind was and is a GREAT BAND but those early years, Aaron wasnt Aaron. His songs will tell you that if you listen and connect the dots. IE, Country Boy, I Lost it All, It's Been Awhile, The Road, and many others.
Thats awesome to hear someone have somebody's back even when other ppl say its not co ,that's LOYALTY ! And we need more of that in this world 👊 I love them both and there music !!

bring back Staind & Limp Bizkit nothing beats the good ole days!
Fuck no!
They don't make bands like that anymore throw in Deftones
Fred durst working with Bones (one of the biggest underground rappers right now) so hes doin fine hahaha
Yes!
Sesh
If you equate money to well being
SHOUT OUT ROCKFEED you guys are awesome. I love Aaron Lewis, this man is a gentleman and well known at that
Limp Bizkit is a good band.
Fred Durst is really a stand up guy from what I’ve been hearing. He may not be the best vocalist but he just loves what he does and he is just a unique frontman
love the vids rockfeed keep it comin I CAN'T GET ENOUGH!!!!!
Thank you Aaron Lewis for being a real man and taking the time to praise another man. Keep it real my friend 💪❤️
Fred’s a good guy.
He sounds like Negan when he's talking.
Negan who?
@@NosferatusLair Negan from the walking dead
Glad to hear something decent and kindhearted come out of his mouth lately
Heisenberg say my name
Frig off, Mr. Lahey
Don't understand. If he hasn't been very nice then why do you continue to go? I guess it's like russian roulette. Got 1 out of 10 in my glock.
Kjc Ile what are you referring to? I’m responding to the many videos online of him getting attention for the questionable things he has remarked about. I’m simply stating here that, regardless of how you feel about his recent encounters, this was a moment of sincerity and kindness.
I posted a few quick talks that I had w Fred Durst.I didn't know Fred lost his house and everything in it..wow.Fred was totally kick ass to us all...questions,autographs,selfies...and even joking w us all about KARDASHIANS being inside the bar.Great post and thank u.
Did the dude say “sorry” at the end there?
Yeah lmao 😂 it was hilarious I don’t know why everyone missed that
Fred Durst brought Arron Lewis on stage to sing one of the most memorable songs of the early 2000's.
Limp Bizkit and Staind are both a part of my youth. Epic bands, epic dudes- but most of all, epic music!! 🤘🤘
Weither you love or hate Fred or Limp Bizkit they were iconic
I miss family values.
LB, Static-X,Incubus,etc were rad.
Also, pretty sure that guy was an audience plant.
If that guy is an audience plant then your a chat troll
I've always been down with the Bizkit. And always will!
Fred rules omg wtf FTW..!!! He will always be one of my favorites..!!!!! His music makes me come alive..!!!!! 👍👍👍
Glad I got to see Aaron and staind live a couple months back. Dude sounds even more epic live which I can't say for many bands
Exactly what I would have done, stand up for a close friend. Kudos to you, Mr. Lewis.
Fred Durst was never really a douche, the media just put him up as one and he had moments of douchie moments but who hasn’t right? Freddy D is the Homie and always is
Aaron Lewis is a real down to earth corn fed American. He has my utmost respect
I love Aaron and Fred...been jamming to them dudes since the 90s
And I never will stop....Aaron is touring on his own...seen his name on some Indian Casino in Oklahoma I believe
That was a rational, calm response and gracefully addressing someone you don't agree with. Appreciate Aaron.
💗,
Amanda
Fred is such a humble dude. Some people dont want to look into how great of a guy he exactly is. watch some his recent interviews.
People really think they know someone from social media..kudos Aaron for sticking up for your friend.
I once saw some d-bag try to correct Ringo Starr about an event that Ringo was at and the d-bag wasnt...
That’s awesome to here!!! Aaron standing up for his friend!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I was watching a small twitch streamer one night and Fred Durst came into the chat and asked if it was ok to shout him out. None of us believed it was really him till he gave the shoutout on twitter and shared. He's a really cool guy.
Really love your videos man. Keep it up! 🙏🤘🏻
We should all take note, We should try to lift each other up not kick them while they are down. We can all be assholes given the right circumstances. Life is too short to hold grudges bc of something that happened when we weren't having a good day.
Fred and the band are legends. Much love guys!
If this isn’t how my friends defending my reputation, they’re not my true friends
Wearing that nine line Remember Benghazi shirt too, Aaron Lewis is a good American. 💪
i wish limb bizkit was still around in the 2000's
Limp bizkit was great back in 1998 when i was a teenager, loved it.Find i listen too it now and still love it,its different listen too the other songs by limp bizkit that were not on the radio there some.of the best.
Yh man, like break stuff
Loyalty.....that shits rare. ♡♡♡
They did not sell out! Congrats!
Hello thanks for your warm complements and thanks for being a great fan
I lost my home in Bell Canyon and all my shit! Respect!
Never thought I'd get to hang out with Limp Bizkit fast forward from 2002 to 2016
I remember when I walked into John Otto's pad I saw a gold record that said STAIND....I asked John why he had it and he told me the he signed the band.
LIMP BIZKIT & STAIND FOREVER💪
...lol ...I even had STAIND refrigerator magnets of the band and logo along with their posters.
Even went to Springfield Massachusetts and Jacksonville Florida
I'm looking forward to that new upcoming limp Bizkit music and record prayers and thoughts to "ol" Fred 🤘
Where and when was this performance.
Hello thanks for your love in my career.. may God continue to bless you you...send me a private message on my hangout account.( officialaaronlewismusicstaind@gmail.com)
I would'nt expect any less from Aaron Lewis. He is a class act
I’ve met Fred and saw a ton of his interviews and he is legit always chill. Not sure where it comes from.
Sounds like it’s time to Reunite for a FAMILY VALUES TOUR!!! Time-Machine take me back to 2001!!! 🤘😁🤘
Fred Durst is a cool ass dude and from what I hear, is one of the most genuinely good guys you'll ever come across. I never met the guy personally, but I do know that if I had to take as much hate as that guy does, I just don't think I would be so cool about it. It would just be a lot harder for me I think. Just his ability to brush off all that hate and keep doing his thing without a single fuck given, really speaks to a man's character and I respect that a lot.
Thank you Fred. Your energy spent on your endeavors has brought awesome music into the world.
It takes a lot of scruples to handle this as well as Aaron did, with the respect & politeness that he did. Much respect to you Mr. Lewis!
This ones for Fred. Just discovered 3 dollar bill y’all. Limp is dope
I miss this time period a lot no matter what anyone says, if it wasn’t for nu-Metal I wouldn’t have discovered so much bands over the years, somebody has to start somewhere
Can anyone inform what's with the hate on Fred Durst?
@David Drake tenks. Times have change a lot huh
Fred Durst is actually a good dude, i think people couldn't tell the difference between the artist and the real dude. At the end of the day, Fred helped a lot of people in the industry
I like limp bizkit, it helped through my angsty years, I liked the nu metal scene.... I hate nickleback with a passion!!!😂 Don't know how they were ever signed with roadrunner records!!
Fred Durst gave the only FREE CONCERT TOUR I've ever seen in 50 yrs of music back in 2000 . Back to Basics tour..Cypress Hill opened.. 4400+ free tickets to his show in Kansas city MO.... I LOVE FRED.. PERIOD.. thanks Mr.Lewis.
Wow this is an incredible performance!!
I met fred durst and he's super chill and nice. He even offer and gave me his piano🙏. That's crazy. I didn't know he lost everything.
Fred Durst is a legend 🤟🏻
He stopped a show in Phoenix after someone said that and said "if it wasn't for Fred Durst I wouldn't be here"
What’s this got to do with slipknot ?
They both suck equally so they have that in common.
@@jacksamunster4407
brave words for someone with a nirvana themed profile pic.
Lapis Eye Slipknot’s not that bad
Every member of slipknot is wayyy more talented than you will ever be at anything. And what’s wrong with Nirvana? Aaron Lewis used to be cool, and I’m with the fan screaming fuck Fred durst.
@SAIF THE EDGE
take a bit of humor you plum.
If you had the fame and money Fred had at his young age, you would be the same way Fred was at that age. Most people at that age are doochbags without the fame and money.
Im supposed to care about a rich person in a rich house who lost it because of a fire? Nah.
Sure because they are a person like you
Mister J still don’t feel bad for the rich house on a rich hill with rich people living in it.
Okay well that’s on you, but a lot of people died in those fires. And you may be considered rich compared to someone in a third world country, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t feel bad for you when something happens to harm your life. It’s all relative.
Mister J doubt they would give a fuck about people lower then them. I don’t give a fuck about rich people who had all this money but did nothing to stop the fires. They just evacuated.
Prayers for Fred. He grew up in Jacksonville Florida and my step dad worked on the drummers House (John Otto) back in the early days
What's funny is that everyone that hates on Limp Bizkit and Fred, Know the lyrics to all there popular songs.
