They still couldn't help me, so they took my phone number and said they would call back. Epson support could not reset the Ink Pad level and basically, the man did not know what I was talking about, even tho I gave him the error code. I have the same error . . . my ink pad is at end of life. This is on the Epson 2820. I called Epson they said it is out of warranty. However, they want me to pay to ship my printer to them so they can reset my ink pad. I purchased the the Epson 15000. I haven't used it yet. I think I will be returning this printer . . . I only recently learned about my ecotank's ink pad after getting the message that it was nearing the end of its life. Using that WIC app, I learned that my ink pad is 90%+ full too! With that, I just bought an external ink waste bottle from your link, and I'm looking forward to getting it!
Seriously.... There needs to be something we can do about this. It is completely fraudulent to advertise them as being eco-friendly when they want you to replace the whole entire printer when the ink pad is full. Just got off the phone from 4 hours of talking to Epson support and then corporate. I am blown away. It really is a serious scam. Our businesses have 12 Epson ecotank all of which cannot have this ink pad replaced. The corporate team told me that most users don't ever print enough to fill up the ink pad so most people don't notice it, and that they are disposable at around 1 year otherwise.
I think it’s a fair thing to prevent dumb people from continuing to print without replacing the pad. But not including a software or setting to reset the counter is scammy.
I followed your instructions and everything worked out perfectly. I was not aware that this had to be done when I bought the printer. Kind of a sneaky thing for Epson to do. I however opened up the cartridge and cleaned it out with warm water and let the pads dry out over night. No issues so far but I will definitely order the bottle. Easier for the future and I forgot to wear gloves and my hands are black. LOL Also, I visited the website and see that BCH sells ink for this printer and it's about 3-4x less expensive than buying from Epson. Thank You!

Initially, after paying €25 for an estimate to find out that the problem was the E11 (which was already displayed on the screen), €75 was requested to fix the printer or buy a new one. I managed to solve the problem with €14, including the replacement of the pads (Amazon)

I have the ET-2850 printer, and although I don't have this message, I'm just a bit concerned that at some point I will. I have removed my Maintenance Cartridge to have a look, and mine is the same as the one in the video (mine does not have a chip on it). I have looked on your website, but this model is not listed, and wondered if I could choose a different model to do the reset ? I would probably get a new Maintenance Box online, as I can get a genuine Epson one for very cheap, and would sooner do this than disassemble the Maintenance Box and clean the pads, and then wait for them to dry fully. I assume that if I did this (install a brand new box), that the E11 error would still remain on the printer's screen, as the printer would not detect the Maintenance Box had been replaced as it DOES NOT have a chip on it, correct ?
Thank you so very much. This video was the best that I had seen because you also showed us how to download the drivers on our desktops which is what I needed to do. Also, this actually worked wonderfully. I did wash out or rinse very well my ink pads blow dry them, but that took too long so I put them inside of a pillowcase and put them inside of my dryer on medium heat for about an hour and then let them sit out overnight. I replaced them back in this morning and I also, got the key and now it is working wonderfully thank you so very much🎉❤

I made the purchase for the key, and it came blank, no key to enter I’ve emailed support 2x and still no replies…very frustrating, especially when I need my printer for business
You uploaded this video 22 days ago as I write this (4/9/22) and the site has changed. In your video, ET models are included in the list but I have checked the inkchip website and there are no ET models listed under the /models section. To address this, I googled, "inkchip ET-4700" and saw the select language screen you show in your video. I clicked English. McAfee detected it as a virus, so I blocked installation. Please advise

Why must a reset key be purchased? I replaced the pads. Now I need to buy a code number too? And how does anyone know what the code is for my specific printer?
What if the printer is not showing up in the drop down on Inkchip? It says not printers found and to check USB connection and restart the printer. Which I did and its not showing up!

One thing I’m going to say that really pisses me off to no end. I have Mac. and you can not reset with Mac. To make it worse I called Epson directly and basically they said pound sand, we will send to a list of authorized repair companies and guess what? There is not one in Arizona! Now will I buy another Epson product? Heck no! But I might get a stinking Widows computer of which I will use for situations such as this! Epson sucks wind!
I absolutely hate this printer. I was told one ink refill would last thousands of pages. I have to refill constantly. It can't print pictures. They're always faded, tinted green, and have lines going across. Oh and it jams and just quits almost every job it starts. I have bought 4 cases of paper (5000 sheets per case). This stupid printer has wasted probably 2000 pages. $360 piece of junk!
Nah bruh. This got me for $10. Program froze after I input the key. Restarted the program and went to reset the counter again, now it says the key is already used. Don’t use this bullshit.
This printer has been a rip off from day one!! I don't have a damn computer to fix it. I have used my phone for it and that's why I got it. I. Hate. Epson. A perfectly fine printer that is programed to shut down and make you buy another one.

You uploaded this video 22 days ago as I write this (4/9/22) and the site has changed. In your video, ET models are included in the list but I have checked the inkchip website and there are no ET models listed under the /models section. To address this, I googled, "inkchip ET-4700" and saw the select language screen you show in your video. I clicked English. McAfee detected it as a virus, so I blocked installation. Please advise

Why must a reset key be purchased? I replaced the pads. Now I need to buy a code number too? And how does anyone know what the code is for my specific printer?

What if the printer is not showing up in the drop down on Inkchip? It says not printers found and to check USB connection and restart the printer. Which I did and its not showing up!

One thing I’m going to say that really pisses me off to no end. I have Mac. and you can not reset with Mac.
To make it worse I called Epson directly and basically they said pound sand, we will send to a list of authorized repair companies and guess what? There is not one in Arizona! Now will I buy another Epson product? Heck no! But I might get a stinking Widows computer of which I will use for situations such as this! Epson sucks wind!
I absolutely hate this printer. I was told one ink refill would last thousands of pages. I have to refill constantly. It can't print pictures. They're always faded, tinted green, and have lines going across. Oh and it jams and just quits almost every job it starts. I have bought 4 cases of paper (5000 sheets per case). This stupid printer has wasted probably 2000 pages. $360 piece of junk!

Program froze after I input the key. Restarted the program and went to reset the counter again, now it says the key is already used.
Don’t use this bullshit.
This printer has been a rip off from day one!! I don't have a damn computer to fix it. I have used my phone for it and that's why I got it. I. Hate. Epson. A perfectly fine printer that is programed to shut down and make you buy another one.
