      DO IT UP!!!!
      It's a big community too, and very welcoming, likely cause the software is free and we want people to keep coming back and showing off the beauty and power of it! Go by the subreddit for Blender, and BlenderDoughnuts. You see plenty of the infamous Doughnut Tutorial by blender guru by other beginners!
      I sound like a plug, but nah I'm just really excited to encourage you to keep at it and not give up! It takes a lot of time solo, and less, but still a lot of time with a team! But it can be done and I wanna encourage you!
      Also, feel free to PM me about your project. I work a 9-5 job, but I'm doing more art recently. I'm a beginner like you, so don't expect me to be this powerhouse yet either haha, but maybe we can get somewhere by encouraging each other!
      You don't have to PM me either, just an offer since you mentioned your project :D I got my own project ideas too of course that'll take time to get off the ground!

    • @josephbrandenburg4373
      @josephbrandenburg4373 5 років тому +1

      @Solid Snake Just have to lol that you think Maya's rigging tools are good. They're not even adequate. Who the hell thinks its OK to just disallow quaternion rotation? The math is actually easier for quats, but no, in Maya you have to use Eulers. Stupid. Not to mention that the constraints only work in world space. You make it clear in your comments that you really don't know what you're talking about. You feel threatened that paradigms are shifting-- and not just because of Blender. Do you honestly think Maya can last against Houdini?

      blender does not generate money as autodesk does not have to profit as an example unreal engine is free but to publish your game you have to pay in blender you do not pay anything blender does not have good tools for animation or for modeling - for example in 3ds max to make a videogame environment large groups can work on the same project - it has many plugins as forest pack - ornatrix - tyflow - arnold - etc etc - has no comparison so that is why it is used in small studies also has no support such as nvidia or amd

    • @MrDjge
      @MrDjge 5 років тому

      maya 1998
      blender 1998
      3ds max 1990
      blender 3 - movies trash
      maya and 3ds max
      all the movies and video games that you see on your monitor - if you want a professional job learn maya or 3ds max if you are going to work as a freelancer or in a small studio blender

    • @MrDjge
      @MrDjge 5 років тому

      blender has no support and will never have it while it is free - instead with autodesk if you have a problem you can call and they will help you - nobody works for free and the only way would be for blender to be paid and there if nobody would use it because it does not have the tools needed in the professional world
