Impressive Presentation. Kudos
yes
Hi crossmind
Hi Master
Hi crossmind, love your videos
I learnt a lot with your blender tutorials, thank you
Absolutely blown away by this! I had to go through frame by frame in some parts in order to understand the enormous amount of effort and iteration that went in! Great stuff!

@@BlenderStudio thanks I will!
@@memerified ? Shush please
@@BlenderStudioit should be Full movie in Theater.
This is one of the coolest reels I've ever seen, really.
I agree.
0:38 Everyone's base models are so complex while the fat one is straight up a Bowling Pin XD
0:44 liked that flowing light effect
1:10 I loose it here, I wasn't expecting it and now I can't stop laughing. This was an amazing work!
Me when I try to rig
Highly relatable 🤣
@@itsziquetv So true :D
Everyone has to go through this nightmare lol
I was laughing too
Maya: we have to do family friendly animations to promote our software
Blender:
umh, this is within the limits of family friendly for me. but yeah, i get what u wanted to say
@@yash1152 You are extremely weird and it's weird that you don't know it
@@yash1152 there’s swearing and murder in the movie, totally family friendly!
@@futurestoryteller how did u assume that i dont know it 🤔😄
@@yash1152 Hey man, my parents let me watch Tarantino movies growing up, so I get it, I'm just saying a dude drowned to death in forest gnome piss, there's no way polite society agrees this is acceptable for children.
The pose library is probably one of the single greatest additions to Blender ever.
I love the denoising based on depth. I saw that technique when studying CG some years ago. I love everything you all do and how masterful you all are and the attention to detail. All the while having some fun of course!
The denoiser works for me 😉
@@gamebox9067 blender studio has a blog post about their denoising approach. You can read it there.
That is how you do an awesome showreel. Damn nice music, lots of scenes, bits and details, and you even get to learn some tricks for your own work, even though you need to pay good attention.
Blender and everybody behind it is a blessing for this world. Without it, we only had a fraction of 3D artists and all those awesome projects, that we do.
I like how for the block out meshes, these shapes really don't fall apart in the furnished versions.
and I think it's really funny how for one of them they're literally a bowling pin.
This short reel just explained more about the animation workflow to me than hours of other videos... bravo! 👍
that z-depth denoising is genius
This is a Pixar-level short movie. Absolutely stunning art direction with great execution.
It’s absolutely amazing to see what studios could barely do 10 or 20 years ago, to now having that power in consumers hands, thank you blender!
Z-Depth denoising, now I have to learn more about it.
We have a blog post about it! studio.blender.org/blog/denoising-sprite-fright/
One of most important tools ever. A practical example of "Disruptive".
I don't animate but I heavily respect those who do. Let me tell you the amount of work the folks here have put in and it's payoff is absolutely astounding. This felt like a theatrical studio backed movie. We need more adult aimed animated flicks like this in the mainstream. I was actually the edge of my seat wondering if the main character was gonna die because of how high they made the stakes.
My favorite Blender Studio film so far! Amazing job.
1:11 Finally! A true masterpiece!!!
😂
Holy fuck, this movie was so detailed and amazing, its so cool it felt like a full 1 hour and a half movie. Truly epic.
Original version of the song is Carpenter Brut - TURBO KILLER in case anyone is interrested.
Thank you!
I just fall in love, what an amazing job!
Best blender 3d short in the planet
Awesome work! Seems like quite a lot of planning and effort going into these projects.
WOW. Artistically, technically and creatively brilliant!
1:27 color palette of character for different lights
1:30 color palettes of all the characters
1:33 showcasing the color palette modification in real time
That's simply amazing, I cannot describe with words.
That was awesome! So much effort and it's great to see all the details and how much work went into the short film. Very well presented and bravo!
The whole film was gorgeous! I loved the art style, and part of me actually wishes it was a Scooby-Doo But Edgy type of series, with this group of a bunch of assholes and one nice girl getting wrapped up in weird mysterious shenanigans, that quickly turned bloody and gorey.
It was stellar.
This is mental! Congratulation to the whole team!
Crazy impressive! Well done to the team!
Amazing job
BLOODY HELL IT'S SOOOO COMPLEX! YOU'RE A LEGEND!
my god this is so much work 😱

Does anybody know name of the song?
Blender ispires me. Really and truly gives me faith in humanity
I just saw te in depth process of the hairspray geometry nodes, and i mean holy shit, i havn't seen that much nodes in my entire usage of blender lol and that is just to do the hairspray effect, the amount of work they put into this is mesmerizing. Well impressive, nuff said

You are AWESOME!
Nicely done.
fabulous🤩🤩🤩🤩 I liked alll😍
spectacular
1:10 When you groove so hard to the music your face gets distorted in time.
Nice one.
super inspiring!
INSAAAAAANEEEEE!!!!!! You guys did such an amazing job, I'm completely blown away. And we can play with the assets??? God that's so generous, thank you so much!!!
Man, showing how you did it is simultaneously so inspiring and so intimidating... that's so much work. Wow. What was the render time like for this? Did doing it on twos cut it down? (I do really love the way it looks on twos, it looks so... clean? Graphic? Idk what, but it's candy for the eyes, it's so satisfying to watch)
(also this is such a good video???? Like. This is really entertaining on its own? The timing with the music, *chef's kiss.* I love how you went through the different iterations of the sprite fright logo, that was a really fun way to start it. I also love the rest of it, but if i got beat by beat with what i love i'll be here for an hour haha)
anyway thank you so much for making this! And sharing this! And for the film in general! And for blender in general!!
thats awesome!!
I always wondered how do you make a stylized hair shader? I'm fascinated by how the hair didn't use a lot of geometry yet it use still has that realistic look to it.
THIS SO EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!
This guy's on another level Noice Bro
Well done
Nice job!
I Love Blender!
That animation is actually the most disturbing animation I have seen in my life! Congrats 👏
0:30 reference got me
I feel empowered already. I now know what's been keeping me frozen.
