I just came here 7 years later to ask you.... why didn't you clean off the carburetor before you took it apart you just put all that dirt back in the bowl 🤣
I have a carter with that brand motor that is cyntrivical and I can't find anything about fixing the disc that turn underneath , the motor on the underpart of go kart. It is sparking and it won't go. I am assuming both pieces used to have rubber and it isn't catching dur to metal on metal contact. I can't find anything online to what those parts are even called, to be able to look those parts up.. Any help would be appreciated!
Tip: You don't have to remove the screws from the air cleaner, just loosen them. Twist the cover and it will come off, now you don't have to worry about losing the screws.

The standard setting on a high speed jet is :back off 1 full turn after gently seating.
nice machine, I have yhe same engine, btw these hace a decompression lobe on the camshaft for easier starting.
