Microfone on S23 is incredible good compared to iphone.

I believe that’s because they are aiming for different things. Samsung is aiming for vocal clarity, whereas Apple is going for a more realistic sound rendition. The directionality of sound is easier to pick up on the iPhones recording. But yeah the Samsun really nails bringing the voice forward. Notice how they are pretty similar whenever a person is talking in front of the camera (like in the beginning of the video). When he then switches to the rear camera it sounds on the iPhone as if his voice is coming from behind, which it also is
@@Yes-wx8qf Samsung at least has the option to switch from what microfone you want to use on pro video mode, if you want to record with front camera but using rear microfones you can.

The dynamic rang on the samsung is unmatched, I can see the benefits of the resolution when applying filters on my content which I believe will make it look more like a natural grade versus an over saturated filter. Im looking for a secondary phone for posting on social media and this might be it. Thanks for the comparison.
In the S23, the sees a lot of potential, when four or five months have passed and Samsung has fixed the small bugs with updates, it will be the best camera on a phone pequeño.

Well, see this one in a few weeks and see the updates they will release to convince me to switch back. Need an enlightenment to switch me back!

14 pro max lasts only 10 more minutes than the s23 ultra
but put in your mind that samsung has a AI feature that collect information about your daily usage of your phone so te phone knows automatically after 7 days or less your real usage of the phone so it optimizes the battery consumption
its obvious after 7 days if you do another battery comparaison
the s23 ultra might be better
Wow, the quality of the camera and video on the S23 Series is quite good and has improved
I feel like especially at around 9:30 you can see the IPhone struggle with overexposure around the lamps while the S23 does a great job with its HDR at keeping everything well lit but not overexposed
S23 owner here, yes, but look at the walls of the buildings for example, the S23 often over smoothens surfaces like walls in night mode to reduce noise. Indoors I’ve taken pictures that look way worse in direct comparison to my old S10. Otherwise great phone tho

@@darkscoop-1 Are you used a s23 or watch any battery test video? For s22 you're right but this isn't s22 man. Do not know it until you experience it. I've s23 and 14 pro both. Battery life is very impressive on s23 thanks to 8Gen2

The mics of S23 is phenomenal!
Samsung really have improved a lot in terms of clarity , nightography, as well as the stabilization and microphone sounds really loud and clear.
Now in comparison to iPhone , Samsung has the better clarity in pictures but lacks in identifying the colors in selfie camera as far as this video goes and in contrast iPhone really needs to work on microphone quality and sometimes colors are not popping in the videos or photos taken at night.
In my opinion S23 series is a game changer because only battery capacity and the performance was an issue in some phones with exynos chipsets only if you are a hard core gamer or doing heavy video editing.
Now with s23 series they improved the performance with snapdragon 8 gen 2 for galaxy and the nightography as well as increased the battery capacity by 200 mah in s23 and s23 plus so definitely Samsung has improved.
We can say that Samsung's claims are very legit as whatever they say , it's for real.
By saying this I am not against apple it still beats Samsung in some points. It's just that Samsung is now almost at the same level with apple.
I love both actually, both are very trustable brands

I just saw today that the s23 takes 60gb from preinstalled stuff by samsung. Is this really the case? Can it be unistalled? How much storage is left if you can remove some of their preinstalled apps?

What is the actual color of your coat and helmet? Is it BLACK as iPhone shows or NAVY BLUE as Samsung shows?
In the video segment I'm shocked how great both devices are. The video is really stunning. And maybe the iPhone is a bit better but overall but both phones are doing an amazing job.
And also - the microphone on the S23 is very good. I almost forgot you were recording on a phone microphone. It really sounds like a professional one.

S23 4k night video seems not as good as ip. There are some blurrs and noises. But I'd like to know 8k mode also.
I think he also left the default option enabled that lowers fps to get more light in dark video. Video would be much sharper and smoother with it turned off in these situations.
Nice video, it's so hard to find any test video for non-ultra model. 😂 I would like to see how much difference there against ultra model

At what bitrate do they record at 4K 30fps main camera?
From other's test, S23 selfie camera will overexpose the neon sign when taking selfie video shot ahead of neon sign while iphone 14 pro does not have this issue. Just wonder if you will test this function in future.
S23 give best mic sound, best stabilization and best definition. So, win easily!

Wow, the nighttime pictures look very oversharpened and artifical on iPhone compared to Galaxy - especially if you look into the palm leaves. Huge difference in favour of S23. EDIT Also look at 8k video footage - the Samsung looks amazing, like nice DSLR while iPhone produces very oversharpened and artificial looking image. Very impressive

iphone edged out on portraits and video. Everything else I thought was pretty close, but different. I found some things I liked more and less in each photo. You’re getting a pretty good camera either way. iPhone still needs to fix some of it’s over contrasty photos that seem to lose details in shadows. Samsung will probably get even better in future updates.

The 14 series is the direct competitor to the S23. Year release doesn't matter. The S22U was the competitor to the 13 series.

I guess I’m in the minority, I thought the iPhone knocked it of the park way more often than the galaxy. Especially for situations you’ll really use your camera often. Look at the background of the video recordings. S23 is blurry where the iPhone keeps the detail. It has to have a good front facing for me, and the iPhone always nails this one. Amazing video, best on UA-cam!!!

Wow I didn't expect that from S23. Almost on par with pro iphones. Mic quality and noise reduction is far better than iPhone.
s23 looks little blurry and not sharp, but the price between two devices is huge so good for the price.
I think the isocell hp2 or 200mp is not a best as sony imx766 for taking best at low light

I have the S10+, been great for 4 years, but it's acting up now and need a new phone. I had planned on the S23 Ultra, but I'm afraid it's just too big/heavy to pocket and carry around all the time. I also was considering the iPhone 14 pro, but with the exception of some quirks in the portrait mode, from this video it looks like the standard S23 stands up well overall.
I think the S23 would be a great upgrade from your current phone.
yeah i have 10 plus but works great still, i think i will upgrade to s23 and not 23+ or ultra because of size and weight. the batteries are best now bcz of snap 8 2nd gen

As a normal user, I did not play any game, just using WhatsApp, little bit telegram, watching UA-cam for 2 to 3 hours and lite use of Instagram, so does battery long lasting a day, after fully charged in morning.

The ultra wide camera from Samsung in my opinion it's better...but in general doesn't matter which one you will buy you are going to get some of the best cameras out there
How come the sound on iPhone is so bad while filming with the back (normal) cameras?
It's always the same. Check previous camera comparisons with the iphone 13, 13, 12 and 11... same story...poor microphones

Great video but when you compare the 5x zoom lense at 7:03 the Iphone is cleaaarly doing way better and I wonder if you made a mistake by calling the the Iphone the S23.
It's pretty obvious in the first ans third pictures in which the Iphone looks much more natural and the S23 oversharpened (and completely mess up the vegetation at 7:11 bottom left)
Also I feel the 8K video is less sharp than the Iphone at 4K, what do you think ? On the other hand, the mic quality of the Iphone is horrendous.
Overall both are great phones but with the price difference and form factor I will definitely go for the S23.
in my country s23 is like 600 euro and 14 pro Is 800 second hand - worth the 200 $ more?
