On a beaucoup reproché à Cziffra, à une certaine époque, son soit-disant excès de virtuosité. Avec le recul on se rend compte aujourd'hui à quel point il était un grand poète du piano. Magnifique interpretation claire, sobre, sans aucune affectation, et pleine d'émotion.
